Loehmann’s is hit and miss. But when I hit I walk out with a ton of stuff. Usually all high end for only $ 200. Please keep leaving bad reviews so I can find all the good stuff.

I bought a $ 400 Theory dress from here for a whopping $ 25. That has sold me on this place forever. This is not a department store so you should not expect a lot of customer service… or any at all. But the staff are all very nice so if you do need help, they’re ready to assist. It’s quiet an relatively clean and organised. That’s all I require from discount shopping.

This place is so unimpressive. I don’t understand how it’s able to stay in business and it’s a blasphemy that the whole shopping center is called Loehmann’s Plaza. No one even shops there! They should call this area the Applebee’s Plaza. I must agree, they do carry high-end brand name clothing sometimes but man, don’t the display merchandisers know that it’s all about presentation? The quality of the place is like Ross but the prices are higher. Ugh. Not enough merchandise; a lot of it is not even decent. Rarely would someone be able to find something worth buying(imo).

This review is only for the Men’s section… Ewww. Oh, and what Men’s section? There’s like 5 racks! They literally have nothing there for men. Sorry. I was totally disappointed. The last Loehmann’s I went to was in Downtown SF. While I still didn’t find anything there, they actually had stuff to sell. It also took longer than 30 seconds to go through everything. Here’s my exact experience when I went to the Loehmann’s in Bellevue. I walked in. Stopped just about 5 feet into the store. Surveyed the Men’s area. Turned around and left. I was in the store for a grand total of 23 seconds. The end.

This store gives me the creeps… it’s so old-school, boring, and small that I can’t figure out how they can stay in business. I’m no fashionista but TJ Maxx and Target are both trendier… and Loehmann’s isn’t full of the classics… Talbot’s it ain’t. It must just be one of those«shopped there forever» kind of things for a certain generation of older ladies who are massively comforted by the familiar. When I need that feeling, I go to JC Penney.

I Know it’s kind of silly for a man to review a discount department store but I’m sure there are fashionable men out there that are looking for good deals, too. Loehmann’s carry mostly women’s clothing and men’s section is about ~10% of the store floor. But if you are fan of Kenneth Cole, Donna Karen, Polo and you aren’t smaller than 28′ or larger than 36′ waist sizes, you will find plenty to choose from. But, I don’t usually go there for those brands? When I’m in the vicinity for lunch or meeting, I walk in and spend a few minutes searching for designer(I can’t really say aforementioned clothing lines they have are designer clothes though the few of the brands do sell higher end lines) clothing. The available size is very limited and in fact there could be only one or two available. I’m guessing that it’s leftover odd size items from fancy department stores. And when I do find one, it’s usually heavily marked down to 70 to 80% of retail price or sometimes even more if it’s the only one left. So, if you are HWP/slender and happen to pass by Loehmann’s plaza, I’d strongly suggest you to stop by take a quick peek. And if you are looking for shoes, this isn’t the store for you. Nordstrom Rack/Factoria is only minutes away…

An easy trip from Seattle(right off I-90) for a hit-or-miss fashion expedition. You can get some great«pieces» for your wardrobe, you won’t find elsewhere. For anyone that wants to spice up their Nordstrom Rack routine… this is the place!

It’s like a hunting expedition but worth it. I walked out the door with two pair of jeans, a couple of blouses, a skirt, and a dress and spent less than $ 100. No kidding. And it wasn’t junk.

Ben Sherman Skirt: $ 4 Ben Sherman Khaki Pants: $ 10 Little black Dress: $ 35 Tommy Bahama Bikini: $ 35 The list can go on and on about all the deals that Loehmann’s has. It is true, you have to hunt for them… and it takes a great deal of patience, but it’s so much fun trying on clothes! Also, you should try to get there when there’s a new shipment of clotehs… otherwise, you’re stuck with the nasties.

Excellent place for designer apparel and shoes at discounted prices. Best to go and trawl once every few weeks rather than hitting it for something specific. If you are a woman, check the back room first as that is where the nicer stuff is. And if you join their Insiders Club, each time you shop they give you coupons for use next time. They have a small mens section but they always have a good selection of higher end jeans. I found a nice pair of Lucky’s there for $ 35, regularly $ 120. Nordstrom Rack is just across the street so make it a twofer.
