My husband and I stayed here for 5 days with our 8 month old and had a great experience. The rooms are set up in an apartment style with a galley kitchen which was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was fully stocked with cups, cutlery, plates and pots/pans. All the appliances were in working order as well. They provided a crib for the baby that had wheels for easy relocation while guests visited. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location was very convenient. The ability to walk to restaurants, coffee and shopping was great. Parking was also free at the hotel. This was a huge bonus for the area considering other hotels charge 25 – 35 per night. I didn’t give the hotel 5 stars due to its’ age. The hotel is in need of some serious updating. The shower worked well however the water pressure was so high that it actually stung my skin. The paint is peeling, the carpets were a little dirty and the furniture had quite a bit of wear and tear. The bed however was extremely comfortable and the linens were new and clean. I would stay at this hotel again for another short 5 day trip. I would recommend staying at this hotel for a longer period of time only if the age wouldn’t be an issue.

A very pleasant hotel with tons of amenities including kitchenettes in the rooms, clean spaces, and a friendly atmosphere. It isn’t a 4 or 5 star hotel, but that is what makes it so charming. Perfect for no stress business stays.

La Residence was an excellent choice for comfort and space. I only needed one night, but was pleased with the accommodations. The front desk staff were friendly and even had their first wine tasting event on the night that I stayed. The rooms were converted from old apartments, so you definitely feel at home with separate kitchen, living and sleeping quarters. There was also a nice patio area on the third floor where I decided to have my breakfast. The only complaint I had was with the street noise. I was in room #34 and it was ridiculously loud throughout most of the night! If you’re a light sleeper, definitely ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.
