Huntington Learning Center

Huntington delivered! My son’s SAT scores went from a total of 1520 on his first practice test in April to a 2010 on his June SAT! I can’t say enough good things about the center — Brian, the owner was incredibly helpful and thorough in his evaluations of needs throughout the process. The tutors were all great. We started out with Allison and Alex who are stellar, but as we went along we used other tutors and found them all to be just as effective. Huntington and Brian definitely have the structure and knowledge to efficiently assess needs and implement a program to get your student to his or her goal. It was definitely time and money well spent. I will be back with my younger boys in a couple of years for sure!

My son scored a 23 for his practice ACT at Huntington Learning Center/​Bellevue. Took the ‘real’ test after training — and today we learned that he earned an unbelievable composite score of 33 (!). This score is approximately the 98^th percentile and 3 points higher than his goal. He is so proud of himself and amazed by this achievement and this will help to open doors for him as he pursues his college pathway. My son believes without a doubt that for him, the success was in the test-​taking strategies that he learned from his tutors at Huntington/​Bellevue. He is a bright kid, but without mastering the test strategy, he could not have succeeded at this level. This group of educators are the real deal.
Brian & Rachel immediately identified my son’s specific needs and placed him with two rock star tutors, Allison and Alex, each focusing on specific areas of expertise. The flexibility was incredible as well — the tutors and staff worked around my son’s baseball schedule, his IB exam schedule and everything else in order to provide the support he needed. We were not easy to schedule (to the point of even Skype-​ing sessions to get them in); but they made it work, and tailored every session to my son’s specific needs.
This was a big financial leap for us to invest in this program, but we are beyond happy we bit the bullet and did it. Through this process, there was a sincere partnership with the staff, and our son felt very supported. In the end, the endeavor was successful on every level. We are fans.

When I first brought my son to Huntington, he was discouraged about school and had almost completely lost confidence in his ability to achieve good grades. I’m so glad we found this learning center! Brian and Rachel helped to very quickly identify areas where my son needed assistance, and lined him up with some great tutors. My son felt better about his schoolwork on day one and has increasingly achieved better grades. He has really enjoyed working with all of the staff and tutors on hand, and is hard pressed to name a favorite. Most importantly, that confident smile is back! My only regret about Huntington is that we didn’t find it sooner!

Really happy with this center. My daughter has been receiving help in writing and steadily improving since january. The staff is professional and very warm. I was concerned with her math skills as well, but when they tested her they found she did well and said she does not need additional tutoring! YaY! Kudos to them for not trying to sell me something she didn’t need.
