Went looking for HH today. It has permanently closed; effective 12÷31÷15(according to the nice guys at Escape Outdoors).

In terms of sales, even the worker admitted as much. That’s what outlets are for. Must’ve been only store inside Bellevue Square with NO sales now. Medium sized, with all the latest designs, that’s what you are paying for. A few stores down from Lush.

Hey… just a thought that when someone comes in to try on super expensive ski jackets, or really ANYTHING for that matter, you might want to at least say hello or acknowledge their presence(«good afternoon… can i help you» works really well) before sitting behind your register/desk stuffing your face with lunch and talking about the boys in the mall. The quality of jackets are top notch and I really need a new ski jacket, but since the store felt more like an abercrombie and fitch redux with some teens running around I would rather get my product online. Thank god I didn’t get sprayed with some cologne also as I walked in. Loved the jacket but now I will buy it online!!!

Most of my gear is from Patagonia, but their high end shells never fit me. Mediums are too tight, but I drown in large. Helly Hansen gear actually fits me — I picked up an Odin jacket and a few t-shirts today, which pretty much kills the gear budget for the next couple of months. This location is fairly small, and is in a mall(ugh), but they have good stuff. They have a bunch of Northwestern gear too(Helly Hansen is the same Hansen as Captain Sig on Deadliest Catch…)
