Dennys is the type of place to only go to for three reasons: 1) You are on a road trip and there’s literally no where else to go. 2) It is 3am and there’s literally no where else to go. 3) You’ve already given up on life and going to Denny’s won’t even be in the top five list of worst things you’ve done today.

The Chinese waitress completely ignored us. No coffee refills, not even«how is your food?» She was busy flirting with all the old white guys.

I mean hey, this is Denny’s so you shouldn’t expect too much. This particular one is an older layout, definitely the old Bellevue way, but I like it. The staff was very friendly and quick, and the food was decent. My friends got some cinnamon swirl diabeetus express pancakes and it is definitely something to be shared. God help you if you finish it yourself.

I never go to Denny’s expecting an A+ meal, to give you a understanding of my standards. I’m a college student who came home to her little town that has nothing open after 11pm besides fast food and Dennys. I had no problems with the service, and my waitress was on top of it. I tried the iced cappuccino — it was ok. Had the value biscuits and gravy. Hash browns were over cooked, eggs were okay, but the gravy and biscuits were not as warm as I would have wanted. I ate it — not expecting anything more from a $ 4 meal at midnight. My review gets 3 stars because I got my food fast and the service was great! I’ll return because I have a soft spot for The only thing open past 11pm.

Horrible! Hamburger for burger was burnt and hard. Extra«clean» plate they brought out from kitchen had food and grease on it. Appeared the cleaning was not a priority around there. The place was nearly empty and we thought they forgot about us as it took so long to get the food. I will never go back!

Went there with a family. Everything was overcooked except for spaghetti — those were reheated. French fries were as bland as paper. Hash brownies were the only tasty thing on plate. And Service was slow and disinterested.

Denny’s is what it is — breakfast fast, tasty but not so healthy. This Denny’s is so desperately understaffed they have a bottle neck every day between customers paying and those wanting a seat. The manager is such a control freak he can’t even allow people to seat themselves. Such an easy solution but they can’t be bothered to actually serve people. AVOID at all costs. I will NEVER return.

The lady served us didn’t wear uniform like other staff in the restaurant. I guess she is the manager or something. She took our order and she didn’t jot down anything. I thought she is the kind of person who can remember a lot of things. However it turned out I was wrong. I ordered Build your own slam with sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes and white toast. My wife ordered cinnamon pancake breakfast with sunny side up eggs. All the eggs came scrambled. Hash browns came instead of my pancakes.

We came here on a weekday in the morning so we did not have to deal with any crowds. We were seated quickly and the waitress was friendly. We got our order taken and got the food fairly quick for the most part. Food was average… but being realistic it is Denny’s so we can’t expect anything spectacular. The only thing that really upset me was that our waitress did not EVER come back after giving us our order. We had to hunt her down to get some water. I mean to be perfectly honest, I can’t be all that shocked! It is Denny’s…

Pros: Quickly seated, good coffee, much better than the IHOP down the street, reasonable prices, Good Service. They can handle the weekend rush. Cons: Wi-Fi doesn’t work

They have a lounge, this means they serve alcohol. Stopped in for a quick beer. The customer were drunk and should have been cut off. anyway, I had a beer, might need to break up a fight.

It is very rare for me to venture outside my house to eat breakfast when cereal is readily available. But an emergency of sorts lead me to needing pancakes from Denny’s one morning; I went to go see the doctor and had blood drawn from my arm. I didn’t want to risk driving home after suffering blood loss, so I had this American diner replenish what I had lost through their pancakes. Yeah, you can order all-you-can-eat pancakes for four dollars, but you’d be crazy to rely on that alone. It still has to be within reason, meaning they can refuse you after your tenth refill, and you’re getting virtually no variety by eating only pancakes for breakfast. I got the eggs/basket breakfast($ 6.00) in addition to the aforementioned all-you-can-eat pancakes. Bacon, hash browns with cheese, and bread with egg in the middle. Actually, this is not bad for six dollars. I don’t mean I would eat this stuff every day, but on rare occasions this is pretty nice. The«unlimited» pancakes were super fluffy and arrived in a plate of three pancakes at first. I only called for one refill of two more pancakes because I didn’t need to eat forever. Butter and syrup are provided for. I liked my unusual breakfast here, although it’s just your average Denny’s.

This Denny’s is like others, the food is cheaply priced and sub par. I have came with friends a few times and almost every time I am sorely disappointed. The one time I ordered a burger there I ended up sick and throwing up and when I ordered eggs they were tasteless and mushy, service is atrociously slow even when there are plenty of staff and few patrons. And it really depends on the time of day but sometimes you will get a friendly server and sometimes they will give you the biggest attitude for no reason. Tip to the servers, you’re in the service industry buck up or get out your tips reflect on service. The only pros to this sad diner are the pancakes which are cheap, usually unlimited and tasty and the pancake poppers which I’m pretty sure they no longer have. I don’t see myself returning to this particular Denny’s ever since there is a much better alternative down the street.

Came in here around midnight and ordered the Alaskan Salmon dish with rice. It was well prepared, and came very fast. Love the service and cleanliness here!

Pretty standard Denny’s. Came here around 9AM on a Sunday morning, and it wasn’t ridiculously crowded. That worked well for us because we were seated at once, and brought coffees shortly after. The coffee was a bit stale, but I didn’t have high expectations to begin with. I got the red, white and blue grand slam. The bacon and hash browns were nice and crispy, and my eggs were perfectly poached. Pancakes were fluffy, but the fruit was still a tad frozen. Service was quick, friendly and attentive.

For a Denny’s with so little clientele, I don’t understand how the service can be so bad. I get the feeling this Denny’s doesn’t have any management because the staff is always running around for no explicable reason, seeing as how there are only about 5 people in the restaurant whenever I go there. Or they are just unavailable, especially if you’re trying to call in to place an order. In which case, expect to be put on hold until you’re completely forgotten and the phone line stays off the hook the rest of the day. The cooks are always changing, so you’ve always got some rookie messing up your food order, but you can’t even complain because«he’s new» so you feel too guilty. Basically, the only way you can enjoy this Denny’s is if you’re drunk and jdgaf. Otherwise, prepare yourself for a very frustrating experience.

It’s basically like any other Denny’s you’ll find. But this one is usually a little less busy than many other’s I’ve encountered. I came here for New Year’s Day brunch most recently — they were CRAZYBUSY, but they sat us at a table within about five minutes; whereas other Denny’s restaurants and IHops in the area had a ONEHOUR wait! It took a little while to get our food, and it wasn’t exactly warm… but the wait staff were hopping to it because of how crowded it was. I didn’t realize it until my latest visit, but Denny’s doesn’t leave a coffee pot with you, which IHop does. But Denny’s does have incredible ‘slam’ combo meals… and they have their new Hobbit-inspired meals that actually look pretty healthy, if large; I think a lot of it is actually paleo now. The new Hobbit menu has sweet potato pancakes, pies, pumpkin coffee, and more.

Denny’s is nothing special, but it is one of the few off-campus breakfast options near the Microsoft headquarters in Redmond. The restaurant is located on 148th Ave across the way from the Bellevue Fred Meyer and across the street from Sears. The interior of the restaurant is old and like it has not been updated in many years. Visiting a Denny’s, you should not have high expectations on your dining experience being great. The fare here is focused on basic American food. It is not going to wow you in taste, but you will leave feeling fed. The breakfast menu is definitely the best thing about going to a Denny’s. The selection is large and varied with plenty of choices. I had a work breakfast meet-up here. Tried the Bilbo’s Breakfast Feast($ 7.99) offering from the Hobbit movie tie-in menu. Though I found the tie-in strange, the breakfast was decent. Most of the ingredients like the eggs and sausage were standard issue and easily made at home, but the honey cake French toast did seem to stand out. Wish there was more of that. Though the ambiance is not great, I do like the booths here which are comfy. Service was perfectly fine. Not overly intrusive, good when you are trying to have a conversation with someone. If you are looking for a basic breakfast, Denny’s works just fine. Though if you are looking for a nicer dining experience, I would look elsewhere.

I am rating this place only against others of its kind… American breakfast fast diners. Keep in mind I love cheap diners! Compared to IHOP(which has better service) and Crossroads Grill(which can be high priced with poor service) this is my favorite diner for price and quality of food.
