Clarks

The shoes are good quality, and normally this store is fairly quiet. Unfortunately I went on the week between Christmas and New Years and they were swamped. It took five minutes to get noticed and once I was ready to check out, I stood for around five minutes at the register without even being acknowledged. They have it hard, but at least let me know that I’m noticed.

I love Clark shoes and I have shopped at this store for 15 years. My last couple shopping experience there, however, were not pleasant. The sales people are rude and snobbish. We went to the store around November last year. The sale person barely wanted to help even though the 3 of us were the only customers in the store. She became very attentive when she realized we were trying to buy several pairs of shoes. Since I had shopped there for quite a while, I thought we might have come across 1 unpleasant sales rep and I would not let that experience to judge the store and didn’t Unilocal that experience.
Today I had even worse experience. I got to the store and waited for a long time without anyone coming to help. I figured they were a little busy and I would just wait for my turn until I realized that this sales rep actually only served young girls. So after getting him to unwillingly brought me the shoes to try, I went on to pay for the pair. I had their punch card which has punches representing over $ 450 purchase. I was trying to figured out how the card supposed to work. He proceeded taking the card without explaining anything or try to transfer the extra punches that is over $ 400 to a new card. When I was trying to ask him about transferring the extra punches to a new card, he rudely interrupted me before I even finished, saying that my card was actually short (meaning we spent less than $ 400 last time when we had closed to $ 500 of the value accumulated), he was doing me a favor to give me the discounted amount their punch card supposedly honored, all along talking to me as if I was stupid.
So after I left the store, I went back because I knew the card had over $ 400 of value. I asked him to show me my original card. He got my original card and a new card and said: ‘Let me show you how our card works’ and I let him. As he rudely going through the punches on my original card, he realized not only I had enough but extra. So either he didn’t know how his store card supposed to work or he just didn’t know how to count. Even after he realized that there were extras on my original card, instead of apologizing, he went on to say those might have been some extra punches this other sales rep put in the last time we made the purchase. How would he knew those were extra punches since he was not there when we made our last purchase!!! Had he been there the last time we were in the store, it might have really been the last time we would have been in that store. He then said that he would be willing to give us that extra to us as if he was doing us a big favor.
Being to the store for so many years and seeing that they have lately been employing the type of people who have no clue on what customer service is is disappointing. I will not recommend this store at all. Luckily there are other Clark stores.

Their sale is great. I visited in June and it was 2x pairs for $ 99! However when there are deals the staff get quite frayed as customers and shoppers demand fittings. I didn’t go in to shop. My Clark’s desert boots needed new laces after the cotton ones snapped. Josh answered the phone and told me he’d have some replacements ready for me if I visited this store. Thanks!

A sales associate here insulted my shoes in order to try get me to buy a pair of wingtips. Boo. Learn some manners

I have always come into Clarks stores to find shoes for my husband and never myself. Finally tried on a pair of sandals here and they were so comfortable. Unfortunately they didn’t have wide sizes in sandals, which I badly need right now during my pregnancy. A lot of places don’t. Their prices are higher but thats because you’re paying for quality shoes. I highly recommend this brand for pregnant women with more normal narrow feet. Unfortunately I have always had an issue with not finding shoes to comfortably fit my wide feet my whole life. And being pregnant with swollen feet doesnt help. The staff in all the clarks I have ever visited have always been very helpful too and patient. its a great place to purchase comfortable long lasting shoes

I really love Clarks Shoes because they are comfortable for all day wear, well-​made and durable, reasonably priced, and stylish. My favorite type of Clarks shoe is the Artisan line as these are especially comfortable.
My only frustration is that they sometimes do not have enough staff to help customers. I visited here last week during my lunch break and hoped to try on several pairs of shoes. There were only two staff, both of whom were very busy. One of the staff went back to get sizes for me and didn’t return for several minutes. I finally had to leave to get back to work on time. The other staff person was so busy I wasn’t even able to say anything about leaving.
Their shoes are so nice that if they could improve their staffing levels (especially during the lunch hour), they could make more sales. Other times when I have been able to work with someone they are always very helpful.

The shoes are really great, but I love the service I receive here.
I have tiny, tiny 4’10″ girl feet. I work on my feet, in a lab, on linoleum. I don’t want to wear ugly nurse shoes, but I don’t want to slip and fall to my death.
I had the most helpful young woman at Clarks help my find the most comfortable, very attractive shoe ever. She showed me different styles, we zeroed in on what I was looking for (interview shoe I can still wear and work in) and brought me various levels of comfort.
I have never worn a more comfortable shoe. She spent an hour with my friend and me and we left the store with three perfect pairs of shoes between us, one of my pairs stretched in one spot to perfection.
Go to Clarks, find a goodshoe and have Alex help you. She’s funny, she’s knowledgeable and she’ll help your feet be happy.

Aww seeing Clarks made me feel like I was in a home away from home.
I like Clarks shoes because they’re comfortable and it was unexpected to find a Clarks store here. I used to buy my Hush Puppy shoes from Clarks but I’m not sure if they carry them anymore.
I had a quick look in here for a taste of London and then moved on
