****The address on here seems wrong or I am about to review the wrong place. The pictures look like the place I’m thinking of but the one I know of is off 370 between 25th and 36th.**** I only have come here on the weekend, which I believe is the only time they have crab legs and shrimp. The crab is hot, the shrimp comes in a few varieties, including peel-n-eat. Other than that, I stick to the Mongolian BBQ. I recommend getting 2 bowls, 1 for meat/noodles and one for veggies. I actually like their chicken wings too. I took my wife on a Friday night(super busy, so get there early) and we got out of there for under $ 30. You can’t beat that!

I find this to be a mediocre buffet. For the price you would think there was more on the buffet side but it was mainly the mongolian grill. They fried whole tilapia. All the scales everything fried, which made it difficult to eat. Food needed seasoning and i know they were trying to get as many people in there, but just a little bit better of a configuration would have been nice. Just not worth another visit.

This literally has to be the worst Chinese Buffet in Bellevue or even Omaha, the food was horrible, I was only able to eat one plate and our waiter was RUDE, avoid at all costs!

Oh China Buffett, the number one place my girlfriend and I go to to stuff our faces with good Chinese food. Your staff is always quick and courteous. The Mongolian grill is always a great way to try new delicious combinations. And 90% of the time everywhere is as clean as possible. I love eating here when I’m not quite sure what I want, so I’ll have a little bit of everything and leave a belt size higher on the walk back to my car.

Very good food for a buffet. They have fair prices for what you get. They are always busy on the weekend and around lunchtime during the week. This means their food is kept fresh. Not only do they have a wide variety on the buffet but included with your meal is the Mongolian barbecue. They offer a good variety of meat, veggies, and sauces that are sure to meet your needs. My favorite buffet in the area so far!

I’m wondering if the people ranking this place highly have any idea what Chinese food is supposed to taste like. Vegetable dishes were coated in oil. The rice, although«fresh», was so dry we couldn’t eat it. The shrimp was so BEYOND over cooked that it was akin to eating fish leather. To top it off, I’m convinced that they use water in their soft serve ice cream machine, because the chocolate and vanilla both tasted like water with flavoring added. I never have high expectations of Chinese buffets, but even with low expectations this place was horrible.

Our«go-to» place on Friday’s for crab legs! Lots of selection as well as the Mongolian grill option. The food is great and the atmosphere is not as crazy like the other Chinese buffets out there. Not too much more to say that hasn’t been stated on other folks’ reviews.

Great food love it here. They are good at filling your drink up, they are also really good at keeping the buffet stocked as well. The only problem I had was with a waitress and waiter they are working and was holding hands and rubbing shoulders. That is my only problem. Other then that everyone is nice to us.

It’s not bad but not great either in my opinion. The only thing that looked really good here was the crab legs and coconut battered shrimp. That’s like the only thing I ate. They didn’t have any chicken dishes on a Friday dinner time only sesame chicken which looked to drenched in sugar for me. Wish they had chicken mushroom or broccoli. The crab legs where good. The service wasn’t bad. They gave me napkins and refill water w.o. me having to ask which is nice. I wish they had a better selection of different kinds of foods tho.

I love China Buffet. The food is always hot and fresh and they have all the items you would expect a Chinese buffet to have. The Mongolian grill here is good also. I have always had good service here as well. I would recommend this Chinese buffet to anyohe who likes Chinese food. it’s reasonably priced and you get to eat free on your birthday also.

We frequent this China Buffet location pretty regularly. It’s always busy on the weekends, especially on long weekends and Fridays. The wait usually isn’t too long, but once you’re in, the service is great and the food done pretty well for a buffett. Their mongolian grill is always well stocked and surprisingly unfettered by any limitations except the small bowls available… which some people solve by simply getting two bowls. This alone makes the price worth it. And the recipes posted definitely help those of us challenged in the culinary art of cooking(tasting I can do!)

High School Wrestling season is over. You may wonder how that applies to eating at the China Buffet? Well, my son had to watch weight throughout the season(which is miserable for everyone in the family) so he could continue to wrestle and not forfeit his matches. So the China buffet was definitely off our ardor for about 4 months. Now that the season was over we took him there with his two sisters. This is a very popular restaurant in Bellevue so we got there at about 5:30 pm and was seated immediately. We all do the buffet versus the Mongolian grill. The great news is they keep up with their customer base. I never have to wait for my favorite selection. The food is steaming hot and they keep it fresh. I like the fact that they monitor their food closely and continually replace items that are low or out unlike some other buffets in town. The atmosphere is good although I felt a little cramped in seating/table. As our table partially blocked an aisle so when people passed I continually was brushed when people were trying to get through. If you are a fortune cookie fan they do not deliver those yummy cookies with the bill to your table instead they keep them by the cash register. So, if you are not mindful they are easy to forget. I really enjoy their food but wish they had more buffet selections(main course items). Their desserts are at best just OK… you should not come for their desserts or their ambience. Overall, I enjoy their food… it is a popular spot so parking at times can be a challenge which is usually a good sign for people looking to eat. If you are not that hungry do not go here as the process are pretty equivalent to any buffet which can be pricey. Enjoy eating here… it is generally a pretty good place to go if you have an urge for Chinese.

This is really one of my favorite places to come, not really for Chinese though. More so for Mongolian grill, egg drop soup, and crab legs. Can’t beat the price of this buffet for Mongolian grill AND crab buffet. And they have Chinese donuts which are spectacular.

For a Chinese buffet this place hit the spot. Food was fresh and hot, but not dried out. They had a wide array of food to choose from. Crab Rangoon was amazing! Service was friendly. Prices can’t be beat. Will definitely return soon!

The only thing I eat is the Mongolian grill, which is a pretty good spread. Other than that I haven’t really tried the normal stuff, but people say it’s pretty good.

My family and I have been eating here regularly since they opened and have never been disappointed with the food. Sometimes the service is lacking — typically in terms of, «You’re ready to leave? Here’s you bill. I’m going to disappear for the next 15 minutes.» We usually go on Tuesdays for Kids Eat Free which makes it a great deal price-wise if you have children under 10.

This is the same business as the one at 114th& Dodge. I do find the food at this location a bit better. Decent selection. They’re good about keeping everything full. They also have Mongolian BBQ as an option. They offer military discounts on Wednesdays. Dinner and weekend crowds tend to be vastly different than the weekday lunch crowds at most restaurants(especially buffets). I came here for lunch and it was an even mix of military and senior citizens. I’ve heard the evening crowd is a little rougher and really ruin the experience. YMMV. I recommend you come here for LUNCH on a WEEKDAY. Staff are mostly friendly and attentive. No crazy waits for a refill. Restaurant is clean and well-maintained, but it may be time for some new chairs as theirs are a little wobbly.

Ugh. I usually take my time and write a review… but this place was neither bad or good. It was just ok. Service varies… sometimes it is good… other times it sucks. The crab doesn’t have much flavor. How can you suck out all the crab flavor… I have no idea but apparently, this place is genius when it comes to this.

Safety is paramount at any Mongolian barbeque. How does this one stack up? Grill kept clean? Check. Cold ingredients kept cold? Check. All items cooked completely? Check. No contact between raw meat and ready to serve food? FAIL: on many visits I observed a spatula being used on raw food then immediately being used to serve cooked food. This is very dangerous. That said, the food is average to above average for a Chinese buffet. Most items are very fresh, thanks to the number of customers being served. The Mongolian barbeque has an above average selection of ingredients and sauces. I’m usually disappointed by the fried green beans, which are oily. The desserts and salads are typical Chinese buffet fare, which is to say, bland, stale, and far from adventurous. I realize that raw salads and super-sweets are uncommon in China, but this part of the buffet could use some customer analysis and creativity. Service is generally good, though like many Chinese restaurants they can be slow to bring the ticket. Prices are on the high side, but smart from a business viewpoint. I’ve visited this buffet 15 – 20 times over the last 3 years, and it’s still my go-to place for Chinese cuisine when I’m south of Harrison Street.

China buffet is definitely a busy place! There is just so much food to choose from for the money, I guess is what keeps people coming back! The food here is okay, although I actually think some other buffets have better crab rangoons and mushrooms(two of my favorite things from chinese buffets). The reason why I think their crab rangoons and mushrooms are not that great is because the crab rangoons lack flavor and the mushrooms, well, they taste as if they were sitting a while even though my friend and I went just as soon as they opened for lunch! One really great thing about China buffet, the staff here, although really busy, are really friendly and helpful!
