First, I’m a born & raised Chicagoan. Gyro’s is meant to be freshly cut from the spit. Here they pre-​cut the gyro’s and then reheat it to serve. It was dry and over cooked at noon time! Crap if you ask me. The Greek salad is only named a Greek salad because of the feta cheese they add. The oil & vinegar dressing was tasteless.
I then bought a Maxwell Street Polish. Also crap. It’s a not even close to a real Maxwell Street or just a polish sausage.
My 1st trip is my last trip to Super Gyro’s. I would have given them zero stars. I told this to the owner directly when I was there today. He didn’t seem to care much. After all, mostly High School kids eat there and do not know the difference.

Second time here. I have enjoyed everything I have tried. Really enjoy the gyros. Good quality meat. The poppers are delicious too.
Today I got the gyro burger. Nice size for the price. I love their fries! The combos are a pretty decent value.
The Italian combo is also huge and delicious. Definitely worth a try! I love that they have dine in, carry out, drive through, AND delivery! Great for food on the go or in a pinch. I can’t wait to try a hot dog next time! I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the mood.

Super Gyro is the best! I’ve only tasted a few things, but everything was delicious! My favorite items are the gyro and baklava. The gyro is one of the best ones I’ve ever tasted! The meat is incredible, fresh, and flavorful. I wish there were more tomatoes and onions on it, but I suppose you can ask for that! The bread is always fresh and that’s important to me. The baklava is incredible. Absolutely delicious! Hand made and fresh every day. You can tell its high quality because the layers are crispy and sticky lightly condensed down to the filling which is so incredible. I’ve been eating it several times a week since I first tasted it! Definitely the best baklava I’ve ever had at a restaurant or bakery. The atmosphere is laid back and prices are extremely good. Yum!!!

Our 1st visit here. We went through the drive thru & ordered 4 Chicago dogs. The total bill was $ 10. The Chicago Dogs were great & the only place in a 28 mile radius that you can purchase one. The only 2 things missing were a poppyseed bun & celery salt. My last attempt for a Chicago dog locally was Sonic (yuck). SuperGyro uses 100% beef hot dogs, that neon green relish, sport peppers, onions, dill pickle tomatoes & onion. I’ll be back for more & also to try the other menu items.

WOW! We ran across this little restaurant that looks like it was a fast food joint and thought we would try it. Glad we did. When we come to B’ville, we eat here because we like Greek food a lot. Salads are fresh and plentiful, as well as their gyros and bahklava. Very reasonable prices and totally cool owners.

The gyros are delicious and the portion is generous. The baklava is heavenly. I have never ever tasted such a delicious treat. I became instantly addicted to it. The only thing I would suggest is coupons. I can’t afford to eat here as much as I would like to because of my budget. Their prices are fair, I just have a tight budget. Also THEY DELIVER !!!

Decent little place! Arrived at the peak of lunch rush and they got it all right.
Service: little slow, but it was rush hour
Food: definitely fresh, hot, and tasty
Hygiene: very very clean
Tzatziki: too thick! Like sour cream :(

I’ve been wanting a hot dog from a hot dog shop and there are none ANY WHERE around here… so I’m happy :-) I had two Chicago dogs, I asked for it to be grilled (I don’t like boiled or steamed) minus relish and it was good. I’ve had better hot dogs in my lifetime but like i said, there’s nothing to compare it to around these parts. The place is pretty clean. The gyros smell really good so I’ll try that next time. I only marked it down one because of the sweet tea I got. it was pretty watered down.

First time there and went with the Italian Beef. This sandwich that Chicago has made famous it is rare to find a great Italian Beef outside the Chicago area. I found it good but it is lacking the spices from the windy city. I believe that might be by design because most folks in this neck of the woods have bland taste buds. The sandwich is good and moist with a fair amount of flavor. the bread was fresh consistent and good. I would buy it again. The fries are great thick and crispy, I don’t believe you can find them at any other restaurant. I will definitely be back to try their Chicago style hot dog and their Gyros. While there the inside wasn’t very busy but the drive thru is where it’s at.

I really like this place for fast food! They have GREAT french fries, and great gyros. They also have nice and greasy cheeseburgers (great for a hangover). I’m from Chicago, so I know a great hot dog, and unfortunately this place does not even come close to what a real «Chicago dog» tastes like. Service is great, and the restaurant is clean. «GO SUPER GYRO!»

Finally! A fast food place serving something OTHER than burgers/​tacos.
The menu is extensive with «Chicago» style food and it doesn’t disappoint. The cheesesteak is delicious, the gyros are piled high with meat and the italian beef is authentic as well.
You will spend 7.50 for a sandwich, fries and a drink. Sure it’s a buck or 2 higher than McDonald’s but I’ll gladly pay the difference and eat this EVERY time.
I really hope this place sticks around. I’m looking forward to ditching the usual fast food places for awhile.

Tried this place as it was the first out of the gate to replace The Acropolis. Greasy, stale pita, blah tzatziki. Do yourself a favor, go to the Casablanca Café if you really want a gyro.

It is about what you’d expect from a mall food court. Over-​priced meriocre fast food. Most of the meals are $ 7.44 for a sandwich, fries and a drink.
I had the gyro and baklava. It had 3 small slices of tomato skin and a few onions inside. It was wrapped up well to prevent leakage, but not to make it easy to eat while driving. The baklava was okay — marginally better than what the Walmart bakery sells (which us pretty dry and not impressive).
This isn’t a place I’d go out of my way for and if I were standing right in front of it, I’d probably walk to Taco Bell next door for a Cantina Burrito. And if I was in the mood for a Gyro, I’d probably go to Belleville Fish and Chicken (unless I could justify a trip to Lily’s).
I wouldn’t actively avoid it, but I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Tonight we did the Italian Beef Sandwich, a Phiily Cheesteak Sandwich, fries, and baklava for dessert. Very very good. At 5:30 p.m. there was steady business in the drive-​through and the inside counter. The owner is training his crew still, so take special care to make sure the counterperson understands your order.
