This is one of our two favorite restaurants. We usually go early in the evening because they really fill up as it gets later. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The food is consistently great. We don’t always have Margaritas but they are always perfect when we do. We usually get the queso dip to go with the chips and it disappears fast! My husband’s regular dish is the steak fajitas and they always come out hot and ‘sizzling’. I like to mix things up and get different dishes. I haven’t been disappointed yet but be careful with the dish that has the chorizo sausage… it is hot!

Great place for food and drinks. The Cadillac Magaritas are awesome. My date said that her strawberry magarita was delicious.

Great food. The steak chimichanga is my go to dish. I’ve ate here probably a dozen times and never have had a bad experience.

When I want a consistently solid Mexican meal, one of my go-to places is Mariachi’s in Belleville. Sometimes after a long day of work you need to unwind and grab yourself a margarita, some chips and salsa and a combo plate that consists of a mini chicken chimi and beef enchilada. My wife showed me this place 5 years ago and we visit a couple times a year. Friendly service and good food awaits. Adiós.

I have never had a bad experience at this place! Fast service, great margaritas, excellent food, and did i say specials! Beans and rice come with most dishes, not as an extra like most restaurants. Food is consistently good

Our server last night displayed childish and despicable behavior. We had a party of 8. I called ahead to save a table, they said I just needed to come a little early to give them time to set up the table. I did. My party showed up, minus one person, and the waiter gets our drinks and gives us menus. Barely any time passes and he expected them to know what they wanted. When we kindly asked for more time, he VERY purposely rolled his eyes and slammed his book shut and asked how much«more time»(spoken in a mocking tone) that we needed. A few minutes pass and instead of coming back to our table he tells his manager to come talk to us. The manager rudely tells us that if we dont order now their will be a 45 minute wait. Before we can ask to order he walks away. Then our waiter proceeds to ignore us, walking past our table multiple times without stopping when we tried to get his attention. When he finally came back we decided not to stay and we asked for our bill and he tried to argue, claiming«we’re busy!!» Being busy is not an excuse for rudeness and ill behavior. I personally will never come back here. And I will tell every one I know about this behavior. We left and went to Margaritas. I recommend Margaritas, about 5 blocks down the street. Much better service, much better pricing, and the food was delcious!

Worst restaurant experience of my life tonight. I wish zero stars were an option. The waiter was rude from the time we(a party of 7) sat down. Moments after we sat down we asked for a bit more time before placing our orders(we weren’t immediately ready to order!) because we were waiting for one person in our party who hadn’t arrived yet(and we hadn’t looked at the menus!). The waiter asked how many minutes we’d need exactly, rolled his eyes, and walked off. Apparently he told his manager on us because then his manager came to tell us about how if we didn’t order right then we’d have a 45 minute wait for our food, and walked off before we could respond. We agreed to order but by this point the waiter was avoiding our table. He walked by multiple times and even made eye contact with me, but wouldn’t approach our table to take our orders. By the time he did make it back to our table we’d had enough and asked for the bill for our drinks. The waiter protested and tried to explain, which only made matters worse. We paid the bill and went to Margaritas down the street, where we had much better service.

Our favorite local Mexican restaurant. We have been coming here for some years now and eat here at least a couple times a month. The staff knows what they are doing and are fast and friendly. Great quality food and drinks.

By far my FAVORITE restaurant. I live in California now and talk about Mariachi’s weekly(wayyyyy better than SoCal Mexican). It was my first stop when I got into town! Love love love their salsa and chicken chimichanga! Excellent service and food!

Best Mexican food this side of the our southern border. Service is great with some awesome atmosphere. I feel like I step across the border every time I come here.

I see all the bad reviews but I guess being a regular me and my friends and family get better service and better food who knows… but then again I get the nachos and it’s hard to mess up chips with queso and chicken but the chips are always good and warm and the salsa is ok but better than frito lay so that’s always a good thing! I would recommend it to anyone still

This was the worst food I’ve had I a while. When you go to a Mexican eatery and they’ve sprinkled Parmesan cheese over everything, you know something’s wrong. The staff was very rude, and it took far too long for us to get our food. I would suggest to everyone to avoid this place. It didn’t taste like authentic Mexican, you’d do better to go to Taco Bell. The prices were way too high for such Terrible food. The best part of the experience was leaving.

Ok. So I was not impressed but I would like to say that I did not get to order off the menu. It was a work lunch and they cooked stuff in bulk and served it buffet style. We had tacos, enchiladas, and burritos. Chips and salsa of course. It was not terrible but it was not good either. Not motivated to return based on this experience.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Not only did my boyfriend and I have terrible service, he got really bad food poisoning from his beef burrito and mini chimi. The waiter brought me the wrong order twice then never even came back to the table until we were all finished so I ended up only eating chips and rice, but still charging us for the entrée! We will definitely never be going back and I will now tell everyone I know in belleville to never eat there! And if for some reason you still decide to go, if you get a young, fat, geeky guy with acne and glasses, ask for another server if you want the right food.

My friend wanted to meet for margarita’s, We got a pitcher on the rocks. Chips were warm and salsa is homemade. To me all Mexican food tastes the same…

Pretty decent for Americanized Mexican food. Really enjoy coming here for lunch. Good prices, good eats. This is my third favorite Mexican restaurant in Belleville.

We come here quite often. Great service, friendly and fast! They keep the salsa filled and chips coming. We usually order combo plates and everything is always fresh and hot. If you don’t want chain style mexican food, come to Mariachis!

I used to love Mariachi’s…years ago. My family and I went there not too long ago on my Grandpa’s suggestion, and sadly I’m pretty sure this is the last time. Nothing had flavor. Nothing. I had Enchiladas Suizas with cheese filling. The cheese wasn’t even flavorful! The refried beans were just mush. The rice had no seasoning other than salt. Mom’s chimi wasn’t even salty. She may have been okay if it had been! My brother was even disappointed in his fresh fajitas. We all took leftovers because we left so much on the plate that we felt bad leaving it to go to waste, even if it was less than tasty. Let’s just say our pups got a Mexican feast, good or not. The two stars are for the service. Our waiter was pleasant and prompt even though he had his hands full. The expo staff – maybe a manager? – was very friendly and warned about hot plates and couldn’t have been more courteous.

I’ve been to Mariachi’s numerous times in the past several years because it’s so close to work, and every single time, I ask myself why I let myself get dragged here. If you want Americanized Mexican cuisine with lots of chips and salsa and plentiful portions, this is where you want to go. If you want authentic, tasty Mexican food, you’ll have to keep looking. It is a good atmosphere. Almost every time I come here, everyone is raucous and in a party mood. I guess you really can’t ruin beers that come in bottles. But if you go someplace for the food, like I do, you’ll be disappointed. Most of the food is bland, and it is priced for the amount of food that you get. Lunch is definitely a better deal; they must make a killing at dinner with the prices and the ingredients that they use.
