The food/pizza is absolutley delicious! Period! Nothing else to say except go get a damn pie and bring it home to your family for them to stuff their pie holes with. You will love it. One of the best pizzas I have ever had.

This is a family own and operated place and one of the best pizza place in Bellerose. Love their chicken parm paninis. My sons love their pizza and zapolli. Took my family for launch several times and never been disappointed. Portion of their chicken perm with spaghetti is huge. Fried calamari my son’s favorite.

Back to one star. I had thought the owner might have been serious about making a change and actually making fresh slices, chicken rolls, pinwheels daily. Sadly and frighteningly he has not. Went in 3 different times this week and I literally saw the same slices each day, the same slices that didn’t sell on Sunday, and still didn’t sell yesterday were right there in the case today. Just look at how wilted the slices are when you walk in, then do yourself a favor and walk out. If you eat here, and eat these cooked last week, re-refrigerated, tainted pizza slice you will be playing Russian Roulette with your own life. The guy sends messages and leaves comments on reviews pretending to be concerned for his customers but continues to sell day(s) old food to people at full menu price. I will never be setting foot inside this place again. I also plan of contacting the NYC board of health. These people need a surprise inspection to catch them doing this dirty, dirty, dirty business. They would rather serve you tainted slices from yesterday, last week or whenever then serve you a fresh slice that was cooked today. Unforgivable. I

Stopped by once for a lunch slice and the pizza was definitely from the day before(cheese was bone dry, crust was stale as could be) — have had friends have similar experiences too. It’s a shame that they’ve changed so much.

Home style pizza and dishes made to order. Dominic hi-class separates from the rest by giving you a family like dish and flavor that comes from his Italian homeland.

Hi-Class has been my wife’s go to pizza place for 30 years. If you go there at night or around 2pm you’re going to get good pizza. If you want a slice for lunch earlier than 2pm then you’re going to be disappointed. They serve old slices early in the day. We ordered 4 different slices and all of them were so disgustingly old and stale that I had to take them back. They gave me new slices which was nice. But the old guy sitting at a table wouldn’t admit they were old. The guy behind the counter quickly gave me new ones because he knew the other ones were old. I had brought the grandma slice back because that one I couldn’t even cut in half. No one offered me a new grandma slice which in my mind means they knew they were serving old ones. It just doesn’t make sense. You’re going to lose more business by serving gross old slices than you will if you just threw out the damn slice at the end of the night. I’m sure I’ll be back but only after 2pm.

I used to come here a lot when I lived in Floral Park. This place is great for its Chicken and Tomato pizzas. Definitely should order them!

Had the worst ever pizza at Hi-Class. They have gone down the hill a lot, perhaps chefs changed… in any case the food is terrible. The pizza slices inside the counter displays look so old and burnt out. I most recently ordered a specialty pie, and you can easily tell the toppings were at least a day old… if not more. Very dry, and the cheese was mushy. The sauce is bland. I will never go again. Stay away people, do not waste your hard earned money. Over priced, and old food!

I think this place is really great, they have always had great costumer service(in person and on phone) and tasty food. The pizza is the best, I’ve tried the pasta, salad, and some other things all equally good. Delivery is prompt and the drivers are friendly. Defiantly a pizza staple by my house. If your new to trying hi class; Nutella slice, penne vodka, regular pie sooooo good and a good starting point

Pizza is not what it used to be. Bland taste and a lot of the slices look like they had been sitting there for some time.

Food is average. Pizza has fallen off quite a bit over the years. Would be nice to get what you ask for when ordering. Ask for extra blue cheese… get charged for extra but never get it. These guys act like their pizza is the best around… it’s not. Ask for a fresh slice and get one with yellow cheese that’s been sitting around all day. God forbid if you ask to have anything cooked well done. And a business should never argue with a customer when their employee screwed up and order. Wouldn’t be bad if it was the first time but enough is enough. Have witnessed first hand them making fun of an angry customer after they walked out. Plenty of other options when it comes to pizza in bellerose.

Great location and can imagine business is good. The food was great I enjoyed a couple of slices as I was walking home but that’s where it ends. The employee behind the counter was very mono tone and rude. Did not greet me upon arrival nor thanked me for my business. I know its just a pizzeria and not a Mercedes Benz dealership but customer service is customer service and there food is there only customer retention. Will probably go back only if I walk home again which is almost never.

My neighborhood’s favorite pizza joint when I was a boy growing up in Bellerose. Amadeo, Ceasar were my original culinary legends who could toss & spin a pizza pie with artistic precision. They had the best Sicilian pizza! The eggplant parmigiana sandwiches were to die for! All made in the store by a close knit band of Italians from Brooklyn. Today the owners are new(to me) but they are still very good. They make more variety pizzas with all kinds of toppings not even considered in the 60’s and 70’s. Memories!

Tried the cheese pizza here once, worst pizza I’ve ever had, it had very little flavor and the crust was dry and hard. Also very expensive per slice. Told a friend how bad it was, he thought I was exaggerating so he went to try it and left angry at the money he had just wasted on a terrible slice of pizza.

I absolutely am impressed with the place and have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about stating the staff is miserable. Maybe it was the time of night and the night staff is different from the day staff? Anyway I went into Hi-class around 9:30 on a Monday night so my options were limited as far as pizza varieties go… or so I thought. I asked if they had buffalo chicken pizza and one of the guys said they didn’t. Now at any other pizza place this would be the end of it(and I would have to order something they did have made). The other guy behind the counter offered to make me a buffalo chicken slice! I couldn’t believe it I would have ordered something else but they OFFERED to make it for me right before closing to boot! They were such nice guys working. I couldn’t believe the prices too. I got a buffalo chicken slice and an ice tea all for under 5 dollars. Most pizzerias on Long Island price their buffalo chicken slices at 5 plus dollars. After a short wait I was on my way with my fresh slice. When I got home I stuck it in the oven to keep it warm. When I finally got around to actually eat it, I was blown away. One of the best buffalo chicken slices I ever had. The spice wasn’t too hot as to mask the taste and it wasn’t lathered in blue cheese(in fact no blue cheese at all was on the pizza which makes me happy. cant stand the stuff). The buffalo sauce wasn’t too much either(a lot of places slop the buffalo sauce on. its too much. but not from Hi-class). Even the crust was great. crispy on the outside and soft and doughy on the inside. not too thick either. I come to queens daily and I’m so glad I found this place. Being New York pizza places are a dime a dozen but this place is definitely second to none. I can’t wait to go back tomorrow!

Hi-Class is a well known pizzeria in Bellerose. What I order is there grilled chicken caesar salad, their sauce is ONEOF A KIND! The dressing that they use for this salad is the reason I keep coming back The food is real good no doubt about that!

Given the limited food options in Bellerose, Hi-Class doesn’t have much competition in terms of pizza. I’ve never seen more than three customers here at the same time. Their specialty slices are pretty good, especially the chicken marsala, but not my favorite. The staff always makes me and my girlfriends uncomfortable with their stares, too. 3⁄5 for being your Average Joe’s.

Been coming here for years, but lately I can’t give them anymore tries… I used to love the pizza, all different kinds. But I’m sick of miserable staff, and all the slices they have out look like they are over a day old. It would probably be more cost efficient to make a couple of new fresh slices every 3 – 4 hrs rather then using 2 day old pizza. As for the miserable staff, I’m sorry I order a couple of slices and give you a tip. what was I thinking?

Good food. However, they never have Zeppoli ready especially on Sundays. Staff does not go out of their way to satisfy customers. They would rather lose their business. Only one elderly woman goes out of her way and will make more Zeppoli if they have a run out. Everyone else very cold and unwelcoming.

This is my fave type of pizza crust. if you like thick, not at all overdone or crispy(doesn’t crack when you fold it), you will like this crust. However, there was a bit too much oil, not enough sauce(and sauce needs to be more flavorful) and the cheese was okay. But overall, a surprisingly decent slice and better than a lot of the Manhattan joints.
