Wendy’s

Nice location off Bissonett that’s out of the way but still close to EHS and HCC West Loop. The place is usually clean and quiet. Sometimes they are out of supplies at the drink station– once they were completely out of about 70% of the soda options in their Freestyle machine– but employees are generally helpful and friendly if you need something. This might be a corporate location, because they seem to be well staffed but someone always seems to be new, possibly in training.

This entire visit was just plain bad. First the man working the drive-​through didn’t speak or understand English very well. My question is how can someone work a drive-​through and they don’t understand the language? Next I wanted a homestyle chicken sandwich and they didn’t have any fried chicken ready. Therefore I had to get a grilled chicken sandwich. I got home, rearranged the lettuce and tomato because of course it was a mess, to see a thick, black hair on the chicken! GROSS!!! Although I was super annoyed, I was thankful the sandwich was made messy. If it weren’t, I would have eaten that. YUCK! I immediately called and spoke with an employee who took my info, apologized and offered to make me a new one. I declined but requested a refund which I will go collect tomorrow. Glad I still have the receipt.

They remodeled completely and it looks fabulous! Service is fast and friendly. The food is consistently good at this location. I had the strawberry chicken salad which I highly recommend! This place is clean and conveniently located on the City Of Bellaire/​West U area. I will be back!

This Wendy’s is the only fast-​food restaurant in the vicinity, so it can get pretty crowded during lunch. The staff does a great job at hustling to get the orders out, especially during peak hours. When it’s not busy, they often have your order ready even before you’re finished paying!

Quick drive-​thru service with a friendly staff. I wish their «spicy» chicken sandwich was actually spicy…
