Spent nearly $ 18 on 3 smoothies that took 10+ minutes to make since they had messed them up the first time. Then when we got them they looked like the consistency was still not right. I am severely disappointed, yet not surprised since every time I’ve been in the coffee shop they are never nice. Customer service? Non existent. Return customer? Doubt it. Don’t go here if you like good, quality customer service!

First time here, I’ll be back. Coffee was amazing. Just straight up coffee. Nothing foo foo. The fried egg and grilled cheese sandwich was amazing!!! Soft and crisp toast, bacon, drippy egg, cheese, chipotle mayo — good grief! It was delicious!

I’ve been here only once and unfortunately I came here 15 minutes before closing(at the end of a harrowing shopping day) so the conditions might have marred my experience. But here’s the thing — in an age where I’m spoiled by artisan coffee and fun coffee inventions, I was underwhelmed by the lack of effort put into planning the menu and the décor. Intentionality is essential for coffee lounges as symbols of modern watering holes both in the tangible and intangible offerings. Their décor seemed a little lazy(plastic chairs and high stools just placed higgeldy piggeldy) and the menu was standard and there were local brews of kombucha and salsa and other stuff in the machines leading up to the cashier, but nothing stood out. I got hot chocolate for my little cousins and a latte for myself and neither was really memorable. They do stock good kombucha options, so they have that going for them, and the service is wonderful too. But really, this is nothing more than a quick meeting spot for some typical coffee.

I have never been to Austin, and this was the first place I had the pleasure of going to for my first meal. The staff is awesome, and super sweet! Lowell makes a mean cup of joe also. I will be coming here for the week that’s for sure!!!

I really, really want to love this place-especially since they have Cuvee coffee. Unfortunately, the service is «ok», which leaves me feeling hollow and empty when I leave. Shit– they are more friendly at Starbucks and I hate that place. The food is super bonus and it’s tasty. I have been about 6 times total– from their first month in business until last week when I just stopped in for an espresso. They messed up my espresso(HOW is this possible?!!) and didn’t seem too concerned about it. How BCC can improve: 1. BEE :) FRIENDLY! Give awesome service! 2. RECYCLE all the plastic cups they waste. 3. SMILE!(see #1) 4. Make a consistent, CORRECT double espresso. I insist on supporting local businesses, so I am hoping they up their game!

Great coffee and breakfast treats. Warm and pleasant atmosphere with wifi . Great place for breakfast, lunch or small groups. Warm and friendly service. They’re going to need more parking as the word spreads.

I really want to like this place. There are SO few options out here for places to hang out and have a conversation, do a little work, read a book, whatever. Bee Cave coffee *could* be that place but they just don’t have the right pieces in place. The customer service is just lousy. No one makes eye contact if they can help it and very basic things – like serving a drip coffee – take forever. I actually had to ask multiple times if someone could get it for me. The atmosphere also is lousy – not nearly enough tables for the space, crappy ikea-ish furniture, weird open kitchen, bad music. Three stars because the coffee is very good(when you can get it) and the sandwich I ordered was great. Maybe ill be back for carry out?

I pretty much live on lattes when I’m in the Austin area and I’ve tried quite a few Austin coffee shops over the years. This café makes a creamy delish latte with awesome espresso! It did not disappoint. The breakfast sandwich was also fresh and yummy! The best: the people are so nice and helpful. What a great little spot. Can’t wait for them to add wine and beer. Will be back when I’m back!

The Americans I enjoyed this am… all three of them were fantastic and very hot. I look forward to going back there tomorrow enjoying those americanos again. The breakfast taco I had was also very very good. There are two points that I think the owners of Bee Cave will address in the near future that will make sure that it is a five star. The first item is the bar stools at the front of the store all kind of angle or slow down they just don’t seem to have taken the wear and tear of the coffee shop very well. It makes you feel like you are always going to fall off or slide off the chair and is actually very uncomfortable. That said there is plenty of seating in there and it is very welcoming and inviting. The other thing that needs to be improved as ensuring that they can get their line of people through the line faster. There were times 15 people waiting in line and it was a very long wait. Maybe they can set up one line for coffee only and another one for their fantastic breakfast sandwiches at cetera. This is a great place and you should try it. Even great places can make adjustments and improvements and that is the spirit in which I offered these suggestion to these great business owners. And thank you to the business owners for having the tenacity and courage to operate an independent business.

We are new to the area and we discovered the great coffee here at Bee Cave Coffee. We will have to come back for their breakfast or brunch one of these days. Great place, parking is space is hard to come by but the coffee is worth the walk.

Service was good, they had great options for non-dairy creamers. They have free wifi. Breakfast tacos were off the chain and I loved my iced coffee! Definitely a nice stop on my visit to the Austin area.

If you are looking for great tasting local coffee in a non-chain, casual atmosphere, then look no further! Coffee here is fantastic. Also, if you get here before noon, I highly recommend the breakfast migas tacos! My husband loves the sandwiches, but I prefer the breakfast. Either way, I have never been disappointed here. It’s a great place to bring your computer and do some work while you get a couple cups of coffee. Service has been friendly too!

A favourite post work-out refreshment stop in Hill Country Galleria — this Bee Cave coffee is like the others, a bit weirdly Spartan in its decoration. They have(very good) wifi and electrical outlets and tables to work at but the atmosphere isn’t a cozy one you’d want to tuck in to and work for hours. Maybe that’s intentional. That being said the coffee is delicious, the one time I had an issue with a slightly scorched flavour they almost fell over themselves replacing it with a larger fixed one. Also I’ve had some truly delicious cookies and brownies over the months I’ve been popping in here. Not tried the proper food yet, but it’s only a matter of time.

5 Stars– Coffee/Dirty Chai 4 Stars– Décor 4 Stars — Food 5 Stars — Internet/charging stations 3 Stars — Service Would I go again? Absolutely! What would I have? A Chai with that lovely silky foam or maybe an iced Dirty Chai, so creamy and delicious with a mixture of warm exotic spices. Bee Cave Coffee is all about a great cup of coffee, the Migus tacos just happen to be a delicious bonus. That is, if you’re smart enough to order them. One more time for the hard of hearing… great coffee, hearty food, and a place to recharge your phone. What more could you ask for?

I am warming up to Bee Cave Coffee. It’s getting better and better. When it opened they served Cuvee Coffee, which is great. Now they have expanded their selection to other gourmet roasters. O this visit they offered two choices of drip coffees, and the one I had was excellent: well balanced, flavorful beans and the drip had just the right ratio of beans to water so it was not too bland. Bee cave coffee offers smoothies, lunch sandwiches and wraps along with the mandatory WiFi in a very comfortable interior. I am coming back soon.

I will start by saying that I love this place. Galleria patrons now have an excellent alternative the the Starbucks inside Barnes & Noble. They can whip up a super mean latte, and the iced Black & Blue Cuvee coffee on tap is one of my new staples in the coffee world. The food is nothing short of amazing as well. The migas tacos are among my favorite items on the menu as well as the basic on toasted sourdough. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about all of their products. If you are a regular to the Galleria, one of the many people who work there, or even just a local who has not been here yet, give it a shot. BCCC may just be your new spot!
