The pharmacy is the worst. Rude surly employees that talk to customer like they are children. They talk down to everyone. The rest of the store is not great but on par for kind of a crappy Walmart. Its the Pharmacy that is just TERRIBLE.

Parked my brand new truck in the lot while I took my kids shopping, came out to a big scratch from a shopping cart not put away. Walmart reviewed the security footage and denied fixing it even after seeing it getting damaged in their lot with their cart. For the $ 166.00 it would cost them to take responsibility, it cost them a customer for life. I told my wife not to spend another penny there. I also shared this story with family and friends. If nothing else, I feel better knowing my hard earned money is not going to Walmart.

The only reason to go to this Walmart is if the Target down the road is sold out of what you need. It is the epitome of everything that is wrong with big box retailing in general and Walmart specifically. The asiles are so crowded with product it is hard to walk through the store without bumping into something or someone: the employees are mostly apathetic and don’t seem to care if you find what you’re looking for and despite a recent remodelling the store is already starting to look rundown. Their online retailing is also really annoying. In an age when most stores are letting you buy online and pick up in store the same day or offer free shipping; Walmart still goes with a «ship to store» model where you buy from the website and wait 5 – 9 days before it arrives at the retail location for you to pick up. I can’t imagine why anyone would prefer this method since you lose the instant gratification of buying in store and you still have to drive out to a retail location instead of having the product brought to you. The one thing I like about this Walmart is they keep a decent number of lanes open so there is rarely a wait at checkout and the prices are typical for the chain.

This review is of the Walmart pharmacy: When I had insurance I got my Rx’s from Walgreens. I lost insurance, so I price shopped my Rx’s. CVS, RiteAid and Walgreen were all just about the same price. Prices were outrageous at these drugstores. The kid behind the counter at Walgreens told me to check out Walmart or Target. He said he did not have insurance and fills his Rx’s at Walmart. I found my Rx’s were eight times, yes 8x, more at Walgreen than Walmart. I have insurance now, but will continue to go to Walmart. The people are very friendly and I can pick up other things if I have to wait when I walk in with a new Rx. No one should get drugs at the gouging, high priced Walgreens, Rite-Aid and CVS. They are contributing to the country’s oppressively high health care costs.
