Haven’t been here in years so on a cold night, what’s better than good olé Italian. Nice atmosphere update and great Italian music. Great menu choices, BYOB/wine. Food was hot and very tasty. A great surprise from the past and will continue visiting.

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place since it’s always busy when we go to Los Jimadores next door. We stopped in last night, Sun 12/27, for the first time to see what the rave is all about. We seat ourselves, then our waitress stops by with menus. After looking at other tables, we noticed that complimentary bread rolls are not provided as an appetizer — so we ordered garlic bread, meat Stromboli and chicken Parmesan. Approximately 15 – 20 minutes later, our garlic bread is dropped off by another waitress since ours was nowhere to be found. Shortly after the garlic bread, our food was brought out. Meat Stromboli is good sized and delicious! Chicken Parmesan is served with a side of spaghetti and sauce. The spaghetti sauce is pink in color and way too sweet — otherwise the rest of the entrée was great! If we decide to return or order delivery, we may just have to stick to the basics and order pizza.

I’m always fortunate enough to find the best locally-owned Italian places in DFW. I love their garlic bread, Eggplant Rollatini, and I recently discovered The Chicken Aristocrat which is a piece of juicy chicken topped with eggplant. They have good lunch specials and it’s usually a big enough portion to save for dinner.

Great food I’ve only had delivery several times so I can’t comment on the atmosphere but the food is always great I’ve had everything from the shrimp scampi and shrimp fettuccine to the pizza to even just meat balls and their garlic knots and everything is really good.

If your going to order pizza delivery this is your place, not the over priced bland corporate places. Some of the best pizza in the area easy.

Been here for years. This trip was not good. Pizza was served do grease drenched that it was wet. No pleasant. Will try in the future to see if just an off day or if they have let the quality drop. We are here and the waiter saw nothin wrong with it.

I had the chicken parmesan. The chicken was hard to cut with the knife but still really good for 6.50 somethin. Later tried their pizza which was also good but not my favorite.

Been coming here for 15 years. Good to see the owner(Albanian, not Italian) still there on a Friday. NY style pizza is one of the best. BYOB is awesome. Tonys salad house dressing is by far the freshest, red wine vinegar, garlic, herbed juice of the gods!!! Really! We order the antipasta salad every time and it never disappoints. Great place, we drive in from Denton, 45 mins away because we can’t ever replace Tony’s! Used to live in southern Grapevine. A must«Go To» joint.

I’ve never had a bad meal at Tony’s. I love their Chicken Parmesan and the Meat Stromboli!!! Not to mention it’s a BYOB restaurant. The staff is always so friendly. Love it!

I got the chicken parm sub and stuffed mushrooms. I’m not a very picky person but none of it was good. The teenagers who delivered it held it sideways so sauce spilled everywhere. Bread was very dry. Maybe the pizza is better. Don’t get what I ordered.

I tried their cheesecake for the first time! Talk about fresh homemade New York style! Man! Best cheesecake since I made my own ten years ago and before that it was in New York.

Perhaps We should have had the pizza. She had the spaghetti which was okay. I had the mushroom ravioli which consisted of 4 ravioli and then penne pasta as a filler. I was very disappointed.

Tonys is one of my favorite restaurants. It’s not particularly innovative or unique, but it’s great for what it is: a solid mom and pop Italian joint. The thin crust New York style pizza is great, but the sandwiches are my favorite. The bread is crispy and fluffy and the tomato vinaigrette is awesome. My only complaint is that they switched from oven roasted to mesquite smoked turkey a few years ago. The smoke flavor is unnecessary doesn’t mesh with the Italian flavors. Their marinara sauce is wonderful, its fresh and goes really well with cheese bread or pasta. I hope tonys is around for many years to come.

I dig the Tony’s salad. I usually get a Tony’s special x large so I can have cold pizza for breakfast. The owner is really from Albania but he makes the best NY style thin crust I have found in the neighborhood. Lizzano’s in euless is owned by the cousins of Tony’s. BYOB so you could grab vino at Tom Thumb three doors down and then come here to eat.

We just moved into their delivery radius and wanted to give them a try. I called and ordered a deep dish pepperoni pizza. About 40 minutes later the delivery guy showed up. I signed the receipt with the charge for what I had ordered. After he had already left, I realized that he had brought me a regular crust pepperoni and onion pizza. I called them back to point out the mistake. After explaining a few times what happened, the guy on the phone asked me to call back in 2 minutes so that he could call the delivery driver. I called back and the same gentleman told me the delivery driver was coming back to the store and would be back out with the correct order. After another 45 minutes with no pizza and no contact, my wife called back and spoke with someone else. This guy informed her that they had no record of my call and they had not even started making our correct order. I really wasn’t that upset by the original mistake, but their inability to fix the problem, especially after telling me it was being taken care of is unacceptable. We won’t be ordering again. I’ll be sticking to Marco’s and Papa Osh, both of which have been great so far.

I really want to like this place, but both times I’ve ordered takeout they’ve messed up my order. I’m not sure if the chef is confused about the two recipes or if towards the end of the night they just throw together whatever ingredients they want. On two different occasions I’ve ordered the Chicken Albanese which is topped with eggplant, cheese and pink sauce. And both times they’ve given me some dish with sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, and white sauce. I’ve been disappointed both times, I’ll give me one more shot but after that I’ll stick with my go-to spot, café sicilia.

I took my niece and her mom the other day for lunch. We wanted to try something new and were in the mood for Italian. The only good part were the rolls they bring out. I ordered the meat tortellini with Alfredo sauce. It was such a disappointment. The Alfredo sauce had no flavor, it was so boring. I even added peppers and red chili flakes to try to make it better. I was no successful. The meat in the tortellini looked like brow mush! So gross looking. My nieces mom had the fettuccine Alfredo and said the same thing about it having no flavor! The one good thing I would say about the place is that the waitress was very nice and attentive. It was a bummer branching out to try something new and being completely disappointed by the lack of flavor.

Have you been to Tony’s lately? This family-run restaurant has expanded a bit — they have a new party room that’s pretty darling, and they won’t hesitate to seat you there if their regular seating is full. This is a mom and pop Italian spot through and through. A small space with a lot of character; not fancy but comfortable and clean; not expensive but the food is consistent and full of flavor. My own family has ordered food from here for years — the linguini and clams, in particular! I can no longer eat much on their menu since I’m GF, but their Greek salad is pretty killer and heavy on the feta cheese. You can never have too much feta. I recently visited Tony’s for a surprise birthday party and the ambiance was perfect. The party room is cozy and warm. Being a Saturday night, service seemed a little slow, but I never saw an idle owner, cook, or waiter. This family was BUSY running around trying to make sure everyone was happy. I think everything went well, even if we had to wait a bit for extra pasta and pizza to come out of the oven. Tony’s is a super casual restaurant, but it can also make for a successful romantic date spot with it’s charm. I can’t tell you how authentic the food is, but it feels like comfort food to me! The aroma is definitely comforting, I’ll tell you that.
