Twila is extremely creative and her shop is very well stocked. She went above and beyond to help me create a memory page for my high school senior; I’m thrilled with the result and it turned out better than I could have imagined due to her input. I highly recommend Whimzees!

I agree with the first reviewer that compared to other options in the area Whimzees definitely has a great selection! Tucked away in a corporate business park, it’s about the last place you’d go looking for crafty things! Lots of individual sheets of paper with fun designs and plain basics. Lots of tools and such. With they had more bulk paper packs and stickers. However, the owner is super helpful and will special order anything you need if you can give her some notice. Tip — Call before you go, they don’t keep standard business hours.

Whimzee’s gets 5 stars compared to the other options in the area, but evaluated on its own, its a solid 4. There aren’t many options on the west side for anything but generic scrapbooking supplies, and Whimzee’s definitely helps to fill this void! You’ll find lots of specialty cardstocks and embellishments here — plus a really large section with solid 12×12s. I didn’t see many albums here, which was disappointing; they were some solid color albums, and a few specialty options. The cardstocks were priced pretty similarly to other places I’ve been $ 0.69 for most of the solids, $ 0.79 for some of the single-sided cardstocks, and the rest of it priced at $ 0.99 — $ 1.29+. Lots and lots of variety! The place is a tad messy… ok a lot messy. I can tell the owner is really passionate about scrapbooking and the shop is great, but even she described the one sectioned-off area of the store as the«scary corner» that needs serious TLC. There are little bins on the floors holding excess cardstock, and I can’t tell if it’s stuff she doesn’t have room for, discontinued stuff, or what. It could use some tidying up and organization in some places, but don’t let that stop you from stopping in. Whimzee’s also has crop nights on Fridays; check out their website or call for more info. They also have a great presence on Facebook, so «like» them to keep updated on their new products, sales and special classes/crops. I’ll definitely be back, and I’m very glad I’ve got somewhere in the area to stop in to when I’m looking for something specific.
