Sabor Latino

Amazing food for a great price! Only problem is that they aren’t always open when they’re supposed to be. I work near by and it’s a great place to come and get lunch. But when I stop by during my break on a Friday or Saturday (around 2pm, well within their hours of operation) they aren’t open! Really hope they start opening when they’re supposed to!

This is a hidden gem in plain sight. Remember when Mexican food was cheap? Well this place is inexpensive and the food is GREAT! $ 1.50 for the best tamales I’ve ever had in my life, and only $ 1.25 for open face tacos. Do not miss out on this spot! It’s better than any taco truck in Beaverton and less expensive too! CASH ONLY

Fresh, authentic, and tasty Mexican cuisine served street side in Central Beaverton. What’s not to like about Sabor Latino?
Though I have not yet tried the entire menu, I can say their tacos rival the «gourmet» tacos I had at Tacolicious in San Francisco’s Marina District. The Carne Asada steak was grilled to a perfect caramelized char. The Carnitas taco was quite flavorful and the Chicken taco was also good. Each meat supported a bed of fresh cilantro… no iceberg lettuce here, people. Even the corn tortillas were fresh and tasty.
The Enchiladas and Burritos are slathered in a savory red sauce brimming with flavor. The yellow rice was a change of pace to the standard orange-​ish rice you get elsewhere.
There are 4 tables of various sizes under a tent, so don’t let the weather drive you away from Sabor Latino. Nice people running the place too! I’m hooked.

Fresh food. Stopped here to grab quick lunch. Wait time was 15 minutes, but didn’t mind as everything was so fresh. Family owned and very friendly service.
Veggie burrito is sizzling yum. Served with green salsa dip. It had lots of grilled veggies and wrapped in home baked tortilla. Rice tasted great.
Guacamole was fresh and buttery.
I will go again to this family owned cute Latin place to explore more options.

The best carne asada burrito in Beaverton. Looks like they have a fairly diverse menu besides that, but good luck pulling me away from that wonderful, tender, perfectly-​seasoned beefy goodness.

Fresh tortillas and tamales. The tacos are amazing. Mexican Coke! Very affordable.

Their al pastor pork is very good too.

10 stars. The best fish taco I have ever had. This place is hard to find, it’s a little hut on the side of SW Hall but it is fantastic.
