This had to be one of the worst meals I’ve ever paid for… Over priced food that tastes and looks like it came out of the dollar store freezer with service equally as bad. I only wish I had the words to convey what a tragedy this place is. Only recommend this place to folks you truly dislike because it’s nothing but punishment; absolutely disgusted.

Wait was long on a slow night. Our server can’t finish a project. One of our soups was cold. 10 min wait for drinks. 15 min wait for soup. 20 min wait for soup to be cleared after we finished eating. 8 min to be served entrees… Received raw eggplant parm. And overcooked pasta with a broken sauce… Crappy food with inexperienced servers. Seems like front of house is lacking support. One person is expediting, serving, bussing, and playing the role of host.

We love this place. We go between Pasquale’s and Giovanni’s. Both are great– excellent crust, generous sauce and quality toppings.

The food at this place is reasonable. Decent lasagna and dessert. The chocolate cake is very good.

Slow service!!! We waited more than 30 minutes before we finally asked where our food was(just a random wait person — we hadn’t seen our waitress since we gave our order). Suddenly our food«just got put up» and came to our table. The food was ok — nothing amazing by any means.

This is not a fancy place & is rather small with a homey feeling and they have the BEST seafood fettuccine alfredo ever! Try this restaurant, I bet you’ll like it!

OMG!!! Amazing authentic italian restaurant in Beaverton. The Giovanni ’ s special pizza was probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. The homemade crust and the homemade sauce combined with the ingredients on it was so good! WOW truly impressed to have found an Italian place in Oregon and so grateful that our friends from here recommended it. The pizza was perfectly cooked and hit the spot. The Giovanni special house salad with home made dressing is really good I’d recommend it. Definitely 5 stars

Rocking Manicotti and Canelloni. People are great, as is the food. A Beaverton institution… as am I.

Well looking all over Portland I was unable to find good Italian food until tonight. First the smell outside is a key the aroma of sauce is great. I ordered garlic cheese bread, salad, baked penne, and pepperoni and jalapeño pizza. Half order of bread is enough by far. The salad was cold and crispy with fresh veggies and sticks of mozzarella. The baked penne was great. The sauce is very flavorful and a nice portion of melted baked mozzarella cheese. The pizza is very good but the jalapeños are very very hot. The crust is cooked perfect and has great taste.)I would watch the seafood dishes. One was brought out and had a fishy oder to it. I am a strong believer that fresh seafood should not smell fishy. Plus food poisoning from seafood is the worst.) There was a large crowd for a Monday night. Service was slightly slow but I think it was more of a staffing issue. I will definitely return.

Yummy!!! What a great Italian Restaurant! Owned by an Italian family since 1975!!! They were 4 of us last night went here after Bootloeggers. We came in pretty late, got a very warm welcome and sat at the other site of the restaurant. We got a bottle of red, everyone of my friends got their order(I can’t remember what every one had) I had Fettuccini Alfredo with mushrooms. It was to die for! Everyone of my friends couldn’t stop eating and clean their plates! They loved their food and we ended the night with two plates of tiramisu which was also delicious!!! The place is very friendly, the waiter was very accommodating AND we can be as loud as we want(we weren’t that loud)… I will definitely returning and will try other items on the menu!!! Very delicious, very accommodating, price is reasonable and friendly environment. One of the best Italian Restaurant I’ve ever been!!!

This is such a nice, homey little place. The waitress was very polite and accommodating when we asked if the mushroom marinara sauce was dairy-free and if they could make the bread with olive oil and seasoning. The Italian dressing is also dairy-free. I almost got the minestrone soup because it’s normally made with veggie broth, but the waitress was paying attention to our previous requests and mentioned it was made with chicken broth, just in case that was a problem, which was a good thing to mention because we’re vegan. So 5 stars because of how easy it was to make sure everything was safe to eat. I had spaghetti and my boyfriend had the gnocchi. It ended up being a really fantastic meal. It’s nice, simple, and homemade. We’ll definitely come back when we want a nice, relaxing Italian family dinner.

My family consider this our restaurant. It has been around for years and have always satisfied us fully. Great for kids and we recommend the baked tortellini.

Delightful surprise, more than we expected. Good value and fresh items. We had the seafood linguini with a slab of garlic toast, along with their family style salad. Davinci Chianti by the bottle(a reasonable $ 20), and attentive, pleasant service. We will be back!

We ordered a pocket pizza. Upon arrival to our table it looked beyond delicious and it smelled awesome. We shared this as our entrée which was a great idea as the pocket pizza is very large in size. We cut the pocket in half and each took a half. Our first bite was garlicky pizza dough and melted mozzarella. That delicious first bite was quickly followed with a spit out of your mouth bite, as the entire inside of the pocket was cold, refrigerator cold we could see shredded cheese. They took back the meal and re-made it. Promising it wouldn’t happen again. They were wrong. It came out again(30 minutes later) just as cold in be middle as before. We left and have not gone back since.

4.5 stars. Located in old town part of Beaverton across the street from Beaverton Bakery. We had A+ friendly service. Fast Friendly checked back often. The food is classic old school, kept old school, served old school. Some of us like it old school not any of that trendy crapoli when it comes to my Italian cuisine. When what we ordered arrived… it was like it walked straight out of the oven and over to my table. No pause! The steam was just rolling off of the top. That is how hot it was. We appreciate hot food. The sauce was very flavorful in all of the dishes that we ordered. The cheese was plentiful and slightly browned on top from the oven. Also like how the bread and the salad automatically comes with your order instead of being nickeled and dime’d for separate ala carte like other places across town. You get the whole meal for one fair price. It wasn’t the best we ever had ever, but we were very pleased with what we ordered. We can’t wait to return to try other dishes.

Came here for lunch. The lunch menu is very good. The salad/soup w your meal plus bread is great for the price! The lasagna was my choice and my husbands was the chicken Alfredo. Both great meals. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come again!

I’m a fan. This wasn’t the most spectacular Italian food I’ve eaten in my life. However, it was good enough to return. They prepare Italian the way it’s supposed to be. The baked dishes are actually baked in ceramic they serve it in(or at least finished by baking). They don’t bake it in some huge pan, cut and then plopped on a plate. So I was impressed. My honest opinion is there wasn’t allot of depth of flavor but still a very solid meal and worth it. Great Italian food has great cheese in it. This was, I’m pretty sure, just typical bland Oregon cheese. So there wasn’t much excitement there. I would have paid an extra few $$ for my dish with some real Wisconsin cheese baked into them. The service was really good. We didn’t have to ask for refills and the server was very nice. The value is pretty amazing. I went there not sure if I wanted the lasagna or chicken parm and was happy to see they offered both as one of their specialties in a smaller portion size. Even with this smaller portion size it was more food than I could eat in one sitting. Our table also had the pizza and it was pretty good. I’m a fan of true thin crust so it wasn’t my bag but that has nothing to do with the quality of it which was good.
