I used to love tanning here, but here’s why I canceled my membership after a year:
Every time I come here, they try to sell me a lotion. In this economy I’m not spending $ 60+ on a lotion that I can get online for a fraction of the cost. I already have multiple lotions, and I’ll take the risk of getting a «fake» one online if it means saving money. I understand that it’s a part of the job to sell, but not to the point where I’m getting stressed out about coming here. I tan to relax, not hear a sales pitch. They literally guilt trip you into buying a lotion. I had to actually RUN out the door because they were shoving lotions on me as I was trying to get my keys out to leave.
I would have given them one star, BUT they didn’t keep charging me after I cancelled my membership, unlike a lot of other sketchy places. Also, I did get a good tan from the beds, but I didn’t feel like the customer service I was getting equated to paying a pretty high monthly fee for my tan.
Palm Beach Tan: lay off the sales quota based business model, and you’ll have more loyal customers.

I have been coming here for about three years now but am going to cancel my membership. They’ve hired some young girls with no work ethic. They are usually playing on their cell phones or with each other’s hair and discussing who gets to go on break next. I went to get a mystic tan and she didn’t even leave me any towels. Good thing I caught it before I got in!

Bought a month membership for around $ 50. Went twice, but then my doctor put me on some medication that wouldn’t allow me to go tanning. Called 3 times to speak to a manager to get some of my money back and the girls at the front said they would give them my message and have them call me back later… guess what… no call. Checked my account recently and found out I got only $ 18 back… so apparently for cancelling due to medical reasons you get charged $ 16 a session? That’s is just ridiculous. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
