We had the shawarma there and it was fantastic. The baklava was great. The falafel tasted horrible. It was dry and stale as if it had been sitting out for the last couple of days. I am definitely planning on going back and I think everyone should try their great food just avoid their falafel.

Just ate here with my 1-year-old son and husband. The prices are great and the food is delicious! We tried a variety of things: hummus, lamb shawerma, falafel, and a cheese fatayer. Absolutely yummy. I believe the woman working was the owner, and she was so sweet and pleasant. She went out of her way to check on us, and at the end she gave our son a cookie. We will definitely be back!

Delicious at a great location. I was very excited when they are opening another Karam closer to home. I’m a huge fan of their downtown locations and dine there regularly. The deli is more of a lunch place or quick dinner. The food is as high quality as the downtown locations. I’ve tried their mezza plates, hummus and desserts and all were very delicious and well presented. Their mezza plates are a bargain. I shared one plate with a friend and we even took home leftovers for lunch. Overall I would come back again and again.

Simply amazing Mediterranean food! My friend and I got baba ghannouj, the ultimate veggie meza plate, and a side of cabbage rolls. Everything was amazingly fresh, flavorful, and we stuffed ourselves full. For only $ 25, we definitely had enough to take home for another meal. Will definitely return! No wait on a Sunday afternoon and very friendly staff. Also nice and clean with a wonderful deli selection as well as desserts.

After trying their«gyros» I had to cut off a star. The lamb gyros aren’t really gyros… it’s more of a meat wrap. So if you’re expecting the big, thin slices of lamb meat topped with feta salad, I would go elsewhere. Best dolmas in town in my opinion, hummus is great and baklava is delicious. But, the gyro isn’t reminiscent of a true gyro. I was very disappointed!

The BEST food. Had a lunch for 2 and EVERYTHING on the plates was fantastic. Hummus and baba ghanouj were the best ever. Highly recommend this eatery. Try their Turkish coffee with the superb selection of pastries!!!

I really enjoyed the grape leaves, cabbage rool, and pumpkin hummus here. The cashew baklava was also incredibly tasty. Very friendly staff.

Blahh super disappointed. Cold pita bread, not even room temp. Straight out of the refrigerator cold. The lamb was super gamey and loaded with gristle.

The best lamb I have ever had! This is fantastic Lebanese cuisine! I have eaten Lebanese food around the world, and this restaurant is at the top of the list in food taste. We had the chicken, and lamb with delicious rice, hummus, and tabbouleh. It was so fresh and flavorful. The labneh and babbaganoush were perfect. I highly recommend the food here. We will be ordering from here again this week. Can’t wait to order again. We got take out. Update 9÷4÷15− went inside to check out the place. It has a wonderful bakery. I tried the fresh strawberry lemonade which was so refreshing, fragrant, and delicious. I think they add rosewater to it. It is the best lemonade ever. I got an assortment of their cookies that were flavorful.

Tried this place as part of my new quest for a good falafel sandwich in PDX, after two strike-outs. Of the three I have tried so far, this one was by far the best. I like that it was entirely rolled up and served in paper, while the other two were hard to maneuver, needed a fork at first. The way they did it here makes it easier to eat and the sauce distributes itself well among the components of the sandwich. The falafels had a pleasant texture and were moist on the inside. Tasty, too. The fixings on the sandwich were good and the sauce was pleasant. Service was fast and pleasant, giving me my food in about 20% of the time of the last place. Very good, will be back.

Wide array of excellent, tasty and fresh dishes. Informal relaxed setting. Gluten free, non GF, Vegetarians and carnivores in our group all were very pleased. And very friendly service too. Highly recommended!

This is THE spot for the BEST hummus and assorted Lebanese/Mid-Eastern Food!!! They are also very friendly and obviously take great pride in their products which are all house made, from scratch, at the very same location! There’s also a great selection of Vegan choices!

Absolutely delicious. I eat at Mediterranean places from all over the Portland metro area. This is in my opinion the BEST of them all. The food is the best as well as the service, facility, and price/portion ratio is perfect. They also have a mouth watering bakery. Top notch!!! Highly recommend!!!

Excellent food and friendly service. Both my sons enjoy going to this restaurant and trying new foods. Some favorites include the hummus, falafel and rice. And don’t forget the French pastries! Yummm!

I really like this place. My favorite thing to get is the lamb shawarma sandwich. The meat combo is also really good. I will say that my husband(who doesn’t like lamb, so will only eat the chicken here) isn’t a fan. That said this is definitely a go to lunch place for me. As for the dessert, the baklava is awesome. The other desserts are pretty good. Not all of them are to my taste, but it is nice to see a different dessert selection than you find in other places around town.

So my 12 year old loves Mediterranean food.(Oh ok. Me too). Today she asked for stuffed grape leaves(aka dolmades), schwarma, and tabouleh. I got them here. Also hummus, falafel, pita, and a Greek salad. I started out with the bearded young man at the counter and a menu. I told him I needed to put dinner together and he gestured to the deli counter and passed me off to a friendly woman who filled my order from the counter. She directed me back to him at the end and he said«anything else?» And I added the salad and schwarma. Those weren’t available in the deli counter. She made the salad quickly and got rice out of a big rice cooker. I did not see where the schwarma came from. Im thinking maybe a microwave or it was in kitchen in back. I was in and out in a short period of time. $ 48 plus I left a $ 10 tip. We had plenty for three and lots of leftovers. It’s Grimm night, Princess’ uncle joins us for dinner and Wesen. The verdict? We’d have liked warm falafel(we like it deep fried kinda crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, this wasn’t). If I’d ordered it from menu instead of out of the case it might have been more like that. It was dense and grainy/chunky with chickpeas. We like our grape leaves warm too. These were cold and had a sweet and sour taste. Princess said they were weirdly sticky. Hummus and pita were spot on. Tabouleh and salad were delish. Fresh tasting. The schwarma was ok. It had good flavors. I probably wouldn’t get it again, the chicken was in small pieces and I’m used to strips. Princess said she liked it. She had big helpings of tabouleh and schwarma. There are beautiful and delicious looking pastries. I ran from them.(cutting back on sugar). But if you go, get some baklava. Its rocking. I can tell. Oasis is still our go to for Mediterranean. But this is good too, especially for takeout. We spent roughly the same amount at both places. Try Karam… just have the falafel heated up.

My second time here. Came for dinner with the hubby. Got a great groupon deal for the chicken shawarma with a mezza plate of 2 falafels, 2 dohlmas, 2 flavors of humus, pita, rice/lentil dish. The order was quite big so we shared it and ordered extra spanakopita and desserts bahklava and whisky chocolate balls. Everything was good. I especially liked the sun dried tomato hummus. The server was also very kind and helpful. We will surely be back. :)
