Soin Medical Center

I have the unfortunate chance to needing to be hospitalized twice in the past year both times I went to Soin Hospital and I had excellent care my father In-​Law has been hospitalized twice recently and he got excellent care the Last time I was there just in November because I had a heart attack and I have to admit I was Not a good patient cause I was in a lot of pain because during my procedure I had to be still and for several hours after so I wouldn’t bleed out because I had to be still and couldn’t move around my back was causing me to be in pain they actually was very nice to means got me through it and on the 10^th of November they had to transport me to Kettering Hospital the young lady who took care of me in the back was a Rock Star she was Very understanding and took great care of me the entire ride she gave me some pain medicine and reallllllly tried to connect with me to try to make the ride bearable you could tell she genuinely cared and chose her job not because of money but to be there to take care of whom ever was in her ambulance I wish I would have remembered her name anyway everybody I have been in contact with at Soin Hospital, or Kettering Hospital have really really really been Amazing!!! The facilities there is the nicest I have ever been. I mean at least when you go to the ER at Soin Hospital you don’t have to go through metal detectors. And whenever we’ve had to go to the ER at Soin Hospital we really never had to wait very long, if at all. I feel it is The state of the art facility, with the very best people who want to make your stay the best it can be. I just can’t say anything bad about any experience I have had or any of my family members have had. It is an asset to the BEAVERCREEK community!!!

I came here for my 3 hours blood sugar testing. So anyone who has been through this knows it’s long, gross, and you’re so hungry! Anyways I got my initial blood drawn to see if I even qualified to take the test. I had to wait over an hour for those results which caused the whole test to take 4.5 HOURS! Apparently they have zero respect for the patient’s time. When I asked what was taking so long for the initial results two people gave me two different excuses. If you’re going to lie I feel everyone should tell the same one. And as a nurse I could see through their excuses. Not impressed with this hospital.

went for an x-​ray. Registration personnel did not even understand a simple typed script for what the doctor ordered. I have to get the doctor to explain something to them anyone can clearly read. A complete waste of time.

After going to my Miami valley three times in a week in such pain I thought I was dying, Soin diagnosed my problem within an hour! After a week in the hospital there and surgery I was much better. The rooms are huge, super clean and really nice the private bathrooms are the biggest I’ve ever seen in a hospital!

I have been seen through the ER there a few times. If you want to be made to feel like crap and wrongly treated and diagnosed this is the place to go
