Massage Envy – Beavercreek

First of all, I’m not ever a fan of «chain businesses» unless your name is Nordstrom or Lululemon. I tend to steer clear of the chain businesses because I feel the quality of customer service is almost always at least half that of an independent small business. Especially when there is a membership involved because at that point all you are is a dollar sign that they already have your monthly payment so the effort to provide you with the best service is non existent.
Well, I was in dire need of a massage and needed one asap. All of the usual places I would consider were unable to get me in for a few days forcing me to take my chances with Massage Envy Beavercreek. My husband called and made me an appointment for 90minute hot stone massage with Nicole.
Now, I have had hundreds of massages from some of the top resorts nationwide, ranging from the most basic massage to some of the more specialty types of massages so I have a decent bar of expectation when it comes to massages. When I left this facility I immediately called one of my best friends and told her that I literally just had, hands down, one of the best massages ever.
I would most definitely recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a super relaxing amazing hot stone massage! I am glad I took my chances and will most definitely be seeing her again.

I wanted to write this while it is fresh in my mind… I had a massage today at 5pm– well I thought I did until my husband informed me that they called him and they had to cancel my massage. I thought it was pretty humorous that I hadn’t received a call all day — I called them and they said my therapist was sick and they couldn’t see me (this was 30 minutes prior to my apt) — so they offered me a free enhancement on my next visit (wow I have been a member for many years and you are going to offer my 10 dollars???) I make plenty of money that if I wanted to purchase this myself I would now im just insulted – so I rescheduled for tomorrow at 6pm however I asked for a call from the clinic manager the next day — so I get a call 5 minutes later saying they called the manager and they would offer me 10% off a massage I already paid for??? — if I didn’t have banked massages I wouldn’t go but im also not loosing my money– beware of the lack of customer service and the double standard they show– if I cancelled my apt the same day I would be charged a full massage however they seem to be able to do it and you get nothing in return– save your money, do your research and don’t go to this one– the manager clearly doesn’t value you nor staff appropriately
I am updating my review because after this the owner contacted me and apologized for the service I received. He offered me a free massage and my massage therapist was much better this time around.

this is a very nice facility. fairly new, it is beautiful and clean. great music, lighting and temperature for the massage atmosphere. friendly staff and therapist were great for our couples massage. i signed up as a member and look forward to trying their other salons around dayton :)
