Hey Unilocalers! :) Just a heads up! Check out the SHIPPINGPRICE before you purchase gift cards or group –on offers with Cheryl’s! I grew up in Dayton, OH and friends and family told me the cookies are delicious so I was excited to see group on! After puchasing the gift … went to their site to order my cookies! For a box of cookies it runs an AVERAGE of $ 45.00…but with group on would have cost me $ 25.00…thought it would be worth it until i looked at the SHIPPING! To ship the box of cookies it is 12.99!!!(Click on the FINEPRINT!.. tricky!) So… back to $ 40.00 for a box of cookies!!! EEKS! Me thinks not! So I am opting OUT of what I thought was a good deal… sending my gift card for Cheryl’s to an Ohioan … not any of my friends though due to they bake their own with«pot» now.(and I am sure that is for MEDICALREASONS)…and heading to one of my local bakeries who all bake DELICIOUSCOOKIESTOO where I can buy drinks, dinner and dessert for that price! HUGS! :)

This is a cute little walk in place to grab a cookie and a drink to go. They have a rather large selection so you’ll have a great time finding a favorite. However your waistline will not be as forgiving. The downside for these little sugary carb nuggets is the sickening sweetness of each cookie. And that’s saying a lot considering I have a HUGE sweet tooth! So make sure you grab a drink also because you’ll need it.

I had heard a co-worker about the cookies, and decided yesterday to swing by Dayton’s Greene. Now, this outdoor mall is complex with narrow streets, so I phoned for directions as I entered the complex. Big mistake. The person who answered was clueless as the store address, even the street, and she asked a co-worker without apparent success. She did suggest it was near certain other stores, to which I was clueless. I drove around for 15 minutes, shrugged, and went over to the Select Start café in Oakwood for one of Boosalis’ white choc brownies.

Placed an order for Mother’s Day for 3 individual shipments 1 week prior to the holiday. Only one was delivered. When I called customer service they could not pinpoint a reason as to why this happened. They offered to refund my money or ship the cookies. I obviously had already asked the recipients if they had received them in which they had not, so I had the cookies shipped. I will take my business elsewhere next time. Very disappointed:(

Though they taste more like cake to me than cookies, their cookies ARE quite delicious. However, the big thing that bothers me about these cookies is the ingredient list. Rather than only containing wholesome, everyday food ingredients I can recognize, these cookies are also comprised of ingredients like cellulose gum, xanthan gum, dextrin, titanium dioxide, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate, etc… and the sound of those don’t exactly sound too tantalizing to the taste buds. I mean, sure, such ingredients can probably also be found in the pre-packaged cookies you buy at the grocery store, but if that’s what I wanted, then I’d buy cookies at the grocery store and not a fancy storefront.

Ridiculous delicious. A coworker was sharing some he received, and I had one cookie and kept the little packet it came in it was so delicious. Looked the place up, told husband, and he surprised me with some ordered from their online store. Oh man. The frosted cookies and brownies are amazing — they remind me of cupcakes. They are fabulous for not-homemade(they taste so fresh and quality that they may as well be). Husband loves them just as much. Going to be heading to a bunch of extra spin classes because of these things… geez. Glad to hear that they keep fresh for a long time, becuase I’m going to have to try and ration these things!

Cheryl & Co is a cookie chain that was started in Columbus, OH, in 1981. Today, Cheryl & Co’s amazing cookies can be ordered over their website as well as through websites like to be shipped around the world. There are only Cheryl & Co stores in Ohio, though. The closest store to Cincinnati is the one that recently opened in The Greene shopping center in Beavercreek. It’s not a far drive from Middletown and it is worth it to check out this store and to sample the cookies that Cheryl & Co is now famous for. The store is fun and the employees are really friendly. I am a HUGE fan of the Pecan Chocolate Chip cookie and Key Lime cookie. Cheryl & Co is unique because they wrap each of their fresh-baked cookies individually which keeps them soft for a ridiculously long time. Best cookies EVER! They have all kinds of gift baskets ready to go and ones that visitors can create to give to friends and family as well.
