They Sushi Chefs speak Spanish. Nuff said. Poor quality Sushi. Had the sashimi salad and it good sized but mostly rice and a few pickled veggies and 5 pieces of fish. Miso was room temperature. I won’t go here again.

People make this seems the best restaurant in Beaumont. It’s not even that great. It’s mediocre at best. For the prices you pay here you’ll be better off going some where else. Wasted $ 200 on mediocre food

The server was really nice and sweet. However the chef was a bit rude. He’d make fun of you and special requests like easy on the soy sauce. However the food was still fantastic. I did not like being seated with total strangers however.

The BEST Japanese Steak House! If you have been to one you know what to expect, but unless you have been to this one you are missing out on a few things. 1. Omni Roll 2. Crunch Roll 3. «Daqu» Sauce(named after the employee that invented it. You must go!

I don’t eat at this location often, I usually dine at the I10 location but on occasion I will dine at the Dowlen location. I’ve only ever had one semi bad experience here but that was a few years back. Other than that, staff is always lovely and the food is always great!

I love both locations in Beaumont. Food is amazing. I love Obe roll with cream cheese, crunch roll and the New Armadillo roll is amazing! Like who ever thought of this roll with bacon, fried chicken, crab meat, and jalapeño was brilliant. It’s a must try roll indeed. I thanked my co worker Danielle Townley for letting me know about this roll. Perfect!

This is the original location and after nearly 20 years they are still putting out top quality sushi. The variety available is unreal along with with the quality makes this place a must try!

It is wonderful to find japanese food of this quality in SETX. Great variety of rolls, fish is fresh, and they also have hibachi side too. The hibachi chefs are very entertaining and the food was great!

I spent four years in Okinawa, Japan, and another four years in Southern California. I’ve eaten this type of food numerous times. This place is spot on. The food is great, the prices are reasonable, the cook was friendly, and the setting is nice. The ONLY issues that I saw, was the lady in the front greeting, she seemed to hate life, and the sushi is overpriced. I will definitely eat here again.

Ouch. Steak and chicken teriyaki came out cold with no server for over 10 minutes to check on us. Had to endure it. Their teriyaki sauce was tart and bitter not sweet at all. Just wasn’t enjoyable at all. My Philadelphia roll wasn’t good at all either. The salmon was dark and discolored and I had to spit out the bite I took :( And while our server was nice — the employees just had that«we don’t want to be here vibe». Super disappointed — first negative review I’ve had to write in a long time.

One of the nicer places to eat in Beaumont, have may friends from Houston and NYC say this is the best sushi they have had. But I am going to focus on the meatless options. First for vegans they have a very good veggie roll even though it comes apart fairly easy. Also they have a great onion soup and below average miso soup. For vegetarian they have a hibachi veggie plate and fried rice.

The location was clean and the food was good. That is once we were approached to have our order taken. We sat at the sushi bar and had to ask for service. The spider roll is a good choice and the tempura vegetables.

The best sushi ive ever eatenand ive eaten at some pretty famous sushi restaurants. The prices are great and so is the food. I’d recommend the Tuna Tataki, OBE Roll, the hibachi chateaubrieanud(sp?) and always get the onion soup if you have a choice. See you there!

Great food, good atmosphere, hot sake! This is definitely the best sushi in Beaumont and the grill side is good too. I usually get a combo grill dinner and either a bonsai roll or a y2k roll. Everything I’ve ever had here has been delicious.
