The best dentist ever! The staff and dentist provide professional workmanship with sincere compassion and heart. It took me years to find a good dentist for my family and we are more than happy to highly recommend this dentist. Dr. Char is sent from heaven and he provides excellent service and quality care.

Completely terrible!!! My husband made an appointment here for a second opinion because another dentist didn’t treat my husband’s cavity right away, referred him to two other places, quoted him $ 3000.00 out of pocket and risked him losing his tooth or a possible root canal, and wanted to charge for an unnecessary bite plate.
My husband called Dr. Char and without seeing any x-​rays, Dr. Char told my husband, «You need a root canal, so you can pay that out of pocket because your insurance doesn’t cover it, or we can extract it, because insurance only covers extractions.»…
Well, guess what? I called our insurance provider and they DO cover root canals, but that or an extraction isn’t what my husband needed.
Anyway, my husband was desperate, so he went in to his appointment at 9:15am and the doctor wasn’t even there. Dr. Char left a note with the receptionist saying basically to prep him for extraction and that he would be in at 11am. My husband was so irritated that he walked out and went to his old dentist that his insurance unfortunately doesn’t cover. I called Dr. Char’s office and the ladies acted like they never saw my husband and I heard them whispering in the background trying to get their lies straight, then they put the doctor on the phone. The Dr. lied up and down to me, and got extremely defensive.
When my husband got to the dentist he knows and trusts, they took care of his cavity immediately, filled it, and informed my husband that what Dr. Char wanted to do was crooked and just a way to get more money, and that unfortunately he sees this happen ALL OF THE TIME. Very dishonest dentist. All my husband needed was a simple fix and sooo much hassle. People probably walk in there all of the time thinking they are getting the right treatment and work done, but it seemed to me, Dr. Char relies on people’s lack of educating themselves on dentistry to make his money, so you THINK you’re getting good care.

My two front teeth chipped early in the afternoon on a Monday. I was starting a new job the next morning and I had to find a dentist immediately. I called my old dentist and she couldn’t squeeze me in until the next week. I wasn’t able to wait that long so I started calling other dental offices. Dr. Chaz was able to squeeze me in that afternoon. I was a little nervous as I didn’t know his work but I went in and as I sitting in the waiting room another patient came out and told me that «miracles happen in there.» She also had a broken tooth and Dr. Chaz repaired it. I felt more at ease immediately. Dr. Chaz’s assistant brought me back and I liked her right away. She was kind, funny, and meticulous. The x-​rays went quickly and she helped me through my «gagginess.»
Dr. Chaz was kind, gentle, funny and meticulous just like his assistant (or maybe she was like him). His Looney Tunes tie was a nice touch. They worked together well and repaired my teeth and gave them a cleaning. Not only did my teeth look better than they did before I chipped them, but they took the time to explain to me proper dental care and make sure I understood the meaning behind the measurements and procedures.
After the work was done Dr. Chaz offered to speak to high school students that I work with about hygiene and careers in dentistry. He also told me he volunteers in LA to care for the less fortunate. I highly recommend Dr. Chaz.

My husband and I came to Dr. Char for the first time this year. I was really happy with the care he took with my husband, so I started bringing my kids. I have been 100% happy with Dr. Char and his staff. They are very friendly and take the time to make sure that you are satisfied. After talking with Dr. Char at my husbands last visit, we found out that he volunteers time in LA to the less fortunate. He is a blessing and we are glad we found him.

Dr Char and his staff are the most caring staff that I have found in the 50 years that I’ve been alive. They honestly care about you I have seen Dr char volunteer things for people they didn’t have them he works on the weekends at a free clinic downtown Los Angeles where he does free dental work this man is an angel he does all kinds of work. And he does it with a smile and he explained to you what exactly your insurance covers what it doesn’t cover and what is it you want to do and he talks to you about it you know is this something that we want to pull or is this a tooth we want to keep or do you want to try it out for a few weeks and see if it gets better where is other dentist would just say I’m just going to yank it out. He wants to save as many of your real teeth as he can and I don’t know what’s wrong with that Lou swing that that wrote that one star review that the screwing everything up but he needs to have his head examined
