In short, Jaron Romero, owner of Golden State Construction is a !%*$#@ LIAR and CHEAT that is not to be trusted. He ripped off my elderly mother for roofing and electrical work totaling over $ 12K. He lied about pulling city permits, he lied about city requirements in order to ask for more money and even lied about job schedule dates. After 10 days of delays and lies, all he did was tear off the roof making a mess everywhere then abandoned the job site, leaving the building exposed to the elements. My mother had to barrow even more money to have another contractor complete the job. We filed a complaint with CA Contractors License Board but no monies have been recovered from this THIEF.
