We really like this place as our go-to place to order in pozole. It’s always so good! I haven’t really tried any other meal items, but my husband had the tacos before which he liked. Micheladas are yummy too!

This place never fails to satisfy me! I got the tamale and Chile relleno combo and it was so so good. The micheladas they have are also very tasty. One thing I will recommend as an appetizer is the queso fundido con camarones y jalapeños! It’s to die for =) our waitress was awesome and we came in on a Saturday afternoon with no wait. For those confused about parking, there are spots in the front off 6th street and a small lot in the back off beaumont ave where there is an entrance to the back of restaurant. It’s not rocket science don’t let it intimidate you.

My regular taco spot in the area was slammed, and had a 30 minute wait, and we didn’t have that much time to wait. Or so we thought. We walked in and stood in the entrance for a few seconds. No greeting, just people dining in looking at us indifferently. After standing there awkwardly for a while we seated ourselves in the back, so that we had room for the twin-babies we brought with us. After five minutes or so, the Waitress noticed us and approached us, gave us menus, and took our drink orders. Water and Iced Tea for me, Lemonade for the Wife. A minute later, she came back with our drinks, and some chips & salsa. We ordered our food. We munched on those chips for a while. They were good, light and crispy, and the guacatillo salsa that came with them was OK. My Wife hated it and went to the salsa bar to find a better option. She came back with some red salsa that was a bit better. Then we waited for our food. Finished the chips & salsa. Then we waited some more. Our drinks were now empty. So we waited some more. Eventually our food came out 15 to 20 minutes later, at which point she noticed our empty glasses and parched lips. She apologized and came back with refills. My Wife ordered two Chicken Tacos Dorados and a Shredded Beef Taco as well. She was NOT happy, The low-quality chicken they use here gets rubbery, and tastes bad. The shells tasted funky. Maybe because they were using old oil to fry them in. It was obvious that the oil was old, like we were tasting every taco fried there for the last three days or so. Gross. She only ate half of one. She did eat her shredded-beef taco, but only because she was hungry, and the beef was slightly more digestible. I ordered two Tripas Tacos. These were some of the worse tripas I have ever had, and I get tripas whenever I can. Under-cooked and under-cleaned. I don’t understand when Taquerias or whatever think that leaving crap in the intestine enhances the flavor or something. It doesn’t. CLEAN that tripe people! And cook it already, I’m not trying to chew on raw ass in a tortilla. I also ordered a Carnitas Taco. Dry and bland. I only finished one taco, the rest just made me feeling depressed. We left with a good amount of food still on our plates, and empty glasses once again as we were seemingly forgotten about again. We were hoping to wash the bad taste out of our mouths. I had to go track the Waitress down at the counter to pay our bill. Our whole experience was bad. We wont be coming back, we would rather wait at our usual spot for 30 minutes than come back here. 2 stars instead of one because the Waitress was at least friendly when she remembered that we were even there. Cross this one off the list.

I went here on Saturday because me and my family wanted some shrimp cocktails. Firstly, it’s hard to find a good parking spot. Once we entered and sat down we waited roughly about 15 mins before anyone approached us to great us. When they finally noticed we were there they took our food and drink order. We literally waited another 40 mins to get our meal. We all ordered shrimp cocktails! I don’t know what on Earth must of took so long to make a simple shrimp cocktail. Once we got them the«shrimp cocktail» was literally a couple of shrimps in Clamato juice –_– I couldn’t believe it took that long to make what they brought me. Once we ate we went to pay. There system was down and it took another 30 – 40 mins to ring us up. Worst service ever! Definitely will not be coming here again!

99¢ tacos everyday all day. I love their carnitas. I’m really not sure what else to say. The tacos and their price says it all. I’ll submit another review when I actually order a meal.

Horrible service and racist workers! Food wasn’t bad, but the horrible service didn’t help. Waited forty-five minutes to get our order taken and didn’t get our food for an hour and a half after that. I think the server forgot she was Mexican too.

I got enchilada & beef taco plate. I’m always skeptical about trying enchiladas at new spot because I’m use to a certain taste… Spicy not sweet. So when it’s a «mole» sauce I will not give it a second thought. But understand some ppl like that flavor. Rice & beans are good but I had better… mine Lol! The beef taco was delicious! Like they slow cooked the beef for hours… meat just melts in your mouth. The service was great, though! Alejandra was very friendly & attentive. Will definitely come back just because of her.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Beaumont. Chicken chimichanga is great, their fresh made salsas are awesome. Family friendly, and good service. It certainly would help if you know a little Spanish though, they are very authentic right down to really not speaking English. Just means you need to check your order cause sometimes they don’t hear it right! But once you get it, it is yummy!

We are New to this city and we are exploring new options in our new hometown. We decided to start here. The food was good, service was great. We enjoyed it so much that we order a 5 foot burrito for a family gathering and it was really good. They had it ready to go timely and we order it last minute and they accommodate us. I would recommend them without a doubt.

The Chips and salsa were both fresh your traditional red which was on the mild side and a salsa Verde which had a little more bite to it. I order the # 7 two Shredded beef tacos with beans& rice it was serve hot the beans were very tasty with the melted cheese. The street tacos are made with hand made corn tortillas with several kinds of meat. My server was Lisa she was kind and courteous and answered all my questions about the dishes made recommendations. .they do serve cold beer and several kinds of sodas. One flaw I had is dealing with the flies. I wish they had one of those air blowers over the doors to keep them out. Overall good tasty food made fresh cold drinks .Will be back

Ordered the cocido soup today, and had 2 pieces of meat in it, very small, tasted good, and service was poor, had to ask for tortillas, wife ordered coctel and she had to ask for all the sides to it. Really unsatisfied. I will give it one more shot and see how it goes. Edit after leaving I see on the window spend $ 20 and get a free tostada de ceviche and we spent $ 40 and was not mentioned or offered to us. That was also whack! Won’t be going back!

What can I say about this place? It’s a small place with plenty of flies to go around which doesn’t make for a pleasant meal when you’re constantly swatting flies away from your food. Second, the service is shit. The first time we went, the lady wasn’t friendly and the second time, my mother asked if they had burgers and the woman laughed out loud, telling her that it was a Mexican restaurant, as if it was an absurd thing to say. The chips and salsa aren’t free after the second small basket, which is a joke. How many restaurants do you go to and you have to pay $ 2.00 for more chips? The food is fine, nothing to say about the quality of it. It’s not bad but nothing special. Lastly, the price. Too much for what you’re getting. So, no, I would not recommend this.

The reason we stopped by this place was because it was the closest place from the freeway where we were on and we were craving Mexican food. First, it’s really a small, hot restaurant that isn’t really maintained from my perspective but we came because it got a few good reviews on Unilocal.Enough to try it out. There’s an outside seating area where there are mists sprayed from the roof because it was so hot. I thought that was nice. I ordered the taco salad in a taco shell and it was just alright to me. I’ve been to a lot of Mexican places and honestly, I’ve had better than Casa Palacios. The food wasn’t as good as it looked in the picture menu and differently not as big. Yea, the pictures on the menu were deceiving. Like I said, the portions were small for the price I paid. I’ve been to plenty of Mexican places that I pay the same price for twice the amount of food, so that part was disappointing. The meat was also way too dry that I had to drench my food in hot sauce just to make up for the dryness. The service was nice. The lady was very helpful and patient in telling us what was good and all that. Overall, I give this place a C. It’s not that special in my book. I feel like I should have gone to the Mexican joint down the street that looks better. If you can find a better Mexican place, I would suggest that. Enjoy!

Been here twice. Both times I wasn’t satisfied with the food not the service. I’m a big ceviche person. Ill put it to you like this it took so long to get my tostadas that both tostadas were soggy! With fresh seafood on a tostada it takes at least ten minutes for the actual tostada to get completely soggy. The funniest part is that the server was like you know how long ceviche takes sorry. Not on my tostada!!! Don’t play me palacios! I’m Ceviche trump! Haha
