We gave this a second try, and it was worst than the first. Their bolognese sauce is very sweet. I don’t like notable sugar in my pasta sauce. Compalined about this at Russo’s, another chain, and they said that is the NY style. Yuck! The best thing was the asparagus wrapped in proscuitto and grilled for our appetizer and the salad, but the salad was overdressed. Very pricey for the quality.

I’m fairly certain this is the only good Italian restaurant in Beaumont. I was surprised to find it out here. It’s a chain restaurant that is consistently good no matter which location you visit in the country.

This has always been a favorite of my boyfriend’s and mine. Good service with tastier Italian food than the rest of the Italian places in the area.

Stopped in for lunch today after not having been in quite some time. Our waiter, Alec, greeted us immediately and took our drink orders. We could tell right away that he was going to be a cut above the rest, and we were right. I enjoyed my pinot grigio while we looked over the lunch menu. We decided on prosciutto wrapped asparagus and mozzarella rusticka, which were both piping hot, and delicious when they arrived. Alec checked on us several times to make sure we were happy with our appetizers and to see if we were ready for our meals. We were discussing the fact that we hadn’t been to Carrabba’s in many months,(and wondering WHY) and apparently the manager was passing by and overheard us. He stopped and greeted us, and asked how we were enjoying our visit and our lunch. He was extremely nice, and we told him everything was perfect so far. I had a Ceasar Salad and a caprese chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread, and my husband had chicken parmigiana and a pasta side. All of it was just fabulous and portion sizes were perfect. Alec brought us more bread and olive oil, and offered us dessert, which we declined. He then said that his manager wanted us to please have desert«on the house» as a kind of ‘Welcome Back’ to the restaurant. Wow! Okay, we gave in and had Brulee Cheesecake… it was to die for. All in all this was the best lunch we have had in a while. Our waiter was a great young man, and we chatted with him more before we left because he was so personable. He suggested other items on the menu for our next visit, which will be soon, as the food was amazing and the CUSTOMERSERVICE was impeccable. Thanks Carrabba’s and Alec for such a nice time today! We’ll be back!

The food was amazing and the wait staff was very polite. They were clearly under staffed and the food took longer than expected but management comped our meal and they were very apologetic. We will be returning soon.

Mixed green salads are abysmal, with a 95% iceberg lettuce and a leaf or two of mixed greens. I can only blame the waiters for this laziness or lack of quality. The soups are fair but could be outstanding if they weren’t drenched in salt. Maybe it’s what the demographic in Beaumont wants. Or maybe it’s the dull taste or indefinite loss of taste from being a smoker, hence extra salt. I would eat here more often and order more items if these issues were fixed.

I used to frequent this location a hand full of years ago… there had been some obvious remodeling done, before this place had the right lighting and the way the tables and booths were made every dining experience feel intimate… When I walked in the lighting was so bright and the concept was so open that the restaurant lost that«personal» touch. I ordered a draft Stella Artois and it was warm… apparently something was wrong with the kegerator, they didn’t have Stella in bottle so I ordered«a GLASS of your house Pinot»… The waiter never asked which and came back with a QUARTINO of Pinot Grigio. I had Noir in mind but I said nothing and chances are I was going to have a couple glasses anyways. When the soups and salads came to the table there was no consistency in portion amongst the table, my salad seemed to be double the size of my friend sitting next to me and even the soups seemed to be misportioned. I ordered the Veal Marsala(rare). Though it was cooked rare the cut of meat was half fat and there was very little Marsala. I’m not a food snob but I figured if I’m going to pay $ 50 for a meal for myself it should at least have some plating or sort of pizazz to it… the taste of it all was very average when in the past this location always delivered on all aspects. Over all considering the price vs the quality of experience — I will not be returning to this location.

I have been to this Carrabba’s twice. The first time, we had to wait over an hour for a table. OK, so, we waited so long, WHILE we saw empty tables. We waited so long, we drank a few cocktails, and we were not very hungry when our meal came out. Our pizza was cold. Went for lunch the 2nd time, no wait. BUT, the waiter was not knowledgeable. I ordered a seasonal salad– the lettuce was wilted, there were 2 strawberry slices and it wouldn’t have filled a 3 year old’s stomach for the 12.00 price tag. My husband ordered a sandwich and the bread was stale. ewww. Most certainly will not go back, when there are so many other LOCAL choices.

This used to be my and my wife’s favorite place to go. Not sure what happened, but service and food quality has really taken a hit. The restaurant could also use a remodel. Went for lunch recently and was thoroughly disappointed with the sandwich I ordered.

Where to begin. Not all Carrabbas are the same. This one had many issues. The tomatoes were rotten on my salad. Ewww! The salad butts(core) were still in the salad. The service was not very nice, ignored all our issues. It just was mediocre at best.

Normally, I am a big fan of the food at Carrabba’s. I had never been to this location before as a newcomer to the area. There was a bit if a wait for a table so I opted for the bar for quick service. After taking a seat and receiving prompt service, things seemed good. I ordered a Peroni and was surprised at how good it was. I guess I had forgotten. Then, to my chagrin and disgust, I see a mid sized roach on the bar! I reached out, and I smacked it with my menu. Then, I slid it to the bartender to dispose of. Though I did still order food, I am still in shock. This place might require more beer for me to handle!

Popular place with decent Italian food. Always crowded and on this visit it was packed and it was so hot in the restaurant it made for a really bad dining evening. Everywhere people were trying to fan themselves but that didn’t help much. Must be two a/c units because the bar area was noticeably cooler. I won’t be back until cooler weather.

While traveling, we opted for Carrabba’s for dinner. I had minestrone soup which was superb. It had lots of veggies and beans. Great for a vegetarian in search of protein. For the meal I requested a personalized dish. I had whole wheat linguini with lots of vegetables(broccoli, bell peppers, spinach, and tomatoes) tossed with olive oil and garlic. Garlic just cut up in a dish doesn’t sound appealing. This garlic had been roasted to golden sweetness, so was no problem eating it with the dish. The gentleman at the table next to me asked what I was having and said it looked beautiful. It was gorgeous and delicious.

Impressive! Greeted by two employees at the door, both holding a door open for my husband and myself. Followed by greeting from a smiling hostess, who sat us immediately. Our server greeted us within minutes, smiling and friendly. Placed our order, received everything as requested. Soups were hot. Appetizers were fresh. Entrees delicious. Drinks refilled without asking. She was excellent! We arrived at 8:30pm, so many of the servers had already been cut and were doing their side work. We watched all of them meticulously cleaning the tables, chairs and floors. Servers who had booths in their sections were lifting the cushions and wiping down everything, including the walls. One server was on her hands and knees using her phone’s flashlight to clean under the booth benches. I have not seen deep cleaning like that in years, I was impressed. Only reason I did give give stars, we had to listen to one server complain to her manager about a table of girls stiffing her, fortunately the manager had enough common sense after two minutes of complaining to move the conversation away from us. But as we were finishing up and getting ready to leave we were given a second round of her composing that none of the Bissell sweepers worked. Regardless, next time we are driving through Beaumont, we will eat here again and hope the complaining server had found her calling elsewhere. Recommend
