The Windmill Belgian Waffles

The woman behind the counter was so unnecessarily rude to me for absolutely no reason. asked her if she had salt. which yes, at an ice cream stand is a far fetch but I was sitting at a table right across from the stand and wanted some for my (delicious!) Country Kettle chowda. I would have gone to them initially but I was closer to Windmill and didn’t really want to leave my food unattended (flies, people, etc.) Any who, I asked the woman if she had any salt, and she just about went bug eyed at my question. with an immediate attitude she responded «NO», so I asked if she had any leftover salt from their hot pretzels. crazy question, right? Her only response was, «WHY do you need salt» and I replied, «for my soup.» she just rolled her eyes, and with a huge attitude told me to, «GO ASK THE SOUP PEOPLE». I mean I get that you probably don’t have salt at your ice cream stand, and I can go ask the people that I bought the soup from in the first place, but the eye rolling garbage attitude was so uncalled for. will NEVER get anything from that place, especially when Ben and Jerry’s is 2 blocks down the road.

Why is the last and only review from three whole years ago? Anything worth going to on this island has a massive following. Is this place even still open?
