Oh What A Bagel

The staff is always rude, the girl that owns or runs the place is even ruder!!! Out of hard rolls by 8 am get a grip, if you don’t care close!!! Phone off the hook for over an hour… Get over yourself!!! I will take the back roads so I don’t even have to drive by this dump… On another note all star bagel right up the street, great service, clean and wants your support

When will Unilocal allow no stars? I’ve lived in the area for over 15 years. Given this place numerous chances. Every time I receive terrible service. People behind the counter are always rude. They really seem to hate their job, and customers. They have two TVs that play Fox News very loud. To each their own, I personally don’t watch the garbage. One reason why I won’t come here again. There’s plenty of local news channels or at least neutral news stations that don’t spew lies. I know most won’t agree with me on that and that’s okay. I overheard the woman behind the counter say «who the fuck eats a pork roll egg and cheese at 12 in the afternoon?» Excuse me? I do. It’s delicious at any time of the day. Why do you care? My boyfriend got a cheddar bagel. It’s a plain bagel with a slice of cheddar cheese that was melted on it yesterday. It cracked and peeled off as soon as he took a bite. This place is gross and the people suck.

The woman behind the counter, watching something involving climate change, says to me «REALLY? WHO FREAKING CARES ABOUT CLMATE CHANGE??»
Love freedom of speech, and my freedom to go to a different bagel joint that gives a shit about people.
Has anyone tried JTs? They are so much better then OWAB. Give it a try.

This place is great the staff is great… always friendly. The bagels are huge and delicious… love the pork roll egg and cheese… love the veggie cream cheese too

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have never been treated so rudely at an establishment in my life. First off, I ordered my bagel at the counter from a woman that couldn’t even crack a smile. I asked for a toasted scooped out bagel with veggie cream cheese. I then waited for the bagel and went to get some coffee at the coffee station. The one regular coffee dispenser was completely out, so I tried to go to the next one and I got about a quarter of a cup. Come on now… so I settled for hazelnut which was completely fine. Finally, I get my bagel and only the top of the bagel was scooped out, it was definitely barely toasted (still white) and completely skimped on the cream cheese. So, I contemplated on asking for a little extra cream cheese, but decided to. I said it so nicely too, «can I have a little more cream cheese bc its lacking?» and even showed it to him. The guy seemed alright with it, took my bagel and went to go add more. My cousin overheard one of the workers saying «We have an emergency! We need more CREAM CHEEESE!!» in a completely sarcastic, rude tone. Luckily, I didn’t hear it… The guy gives me back my bagel with literally a pound of cream cheese on it. Unbelievable service. I wasn’t asking for a lot more, just a little extra. I will NEVER return, and I was sure to tell my family that goes there every weekend to not go back either.

A bagel with cream cheese should have REAL cream cheese not the watered down whipped junk they use and besides that they spread it on like you would put margarine on Melba toast. Don’t be so cheap get real cream cheese and put it on your bagel charge more if you have to but don’t serve that crap!

What a great mom n pop begal place they have multiple verites of begals and always trying new flafors made with fresh ingredients. Great place for breakfast or lunch friendly and nice staff always have fresh begals comming out of the oven. All begals are made on site not shiped in or frozen they have even expanded and now have a large dining area with indoor and out door seating.

This bagel shop is wonderful! They have extremely friendly staff and seems to be very clean !
Now the bagels are great ! They’re big fresh and delicious overall 5stars without thinking twice !

Some people claim that the reason bagels are good in NYC, but rarely elsewhere, is because of the local water. This place is proof against that. The bagels are great, and while I could use a little more cream cheese at times, I go here anytime I’m in the neighborhood.

These bagels are great. My mom and I went this morning after hearing great things about their bagels.

Solid breakfast spot. I came here for the first time a few years ago and I was hooked ever since. I tried their french toast bagel and I think that’s what did it for me. I know it is a horrible choice for my waistline but damn is it good. The bagels are always fresh and they have a great variety too If you’re hungry for a delicious hearty breakfast, look no further.

Anyone from Bayville will tell you that this is the place to go for a bagel. Very large bagels, freshly made. Delicious! Pork roll and cheese on an everything is marvelous. ⁵⁄₅

Best bagel place in town, It has that «hole in the wall» feel to it inside and there is always lots of people during the breakfast hours. The bagel options are all pretty standard from the French toast to the poppy seed to the everything bagel. My personal favorite is pork roll and cheese on an everything, its so good.
Bottom line great bagels and great breakfast sandwiches.
