Came here all the way from Dallas. Love the food so much. Staffs are friendly. Impressive buffet and design! Wish they open one in Dallas!

Every one of these places I’ve been have all been horrible. I’ve been to 3 assuming they are the same place due to having the same name, and, to my dismay, the same, inconsistent, poor quality of food. I used to live near one in Pasadena. It lasted all of 4 months before they closed down. Go figure

Do not go here unless you want to be eating with roaches !!! Waiting to be seated on a Sunday while a dinosaur size roach decides to take a walk out from the kitchen. One of the staff seen it smashed the life out of the creepy crawler and kicked it back into the kitchen like if to destroy the evidence … disgusting!!!

First time here. Excellent experience. Great service, clean place. Huge selection of delicious Chinese food. My husband and I went with 2 friends. We all love everything that we tried. So far, best buffet in the area. The buffet price is very reasonable. Good variety of fresh, hot, tasty food. Can’t said nothing wrong about this place. Place was busy. We went a Sunday around 1 o’clock. Waiting time for a table was about 10 minutes or so. I’m new in this area and we have been trying different restaurants, so far this is one is my favorite.

NOGIFTCARDSACCEPTED. 1 fork per meal. Yeah… we won’t be back. We had a Visa and a Master Card gift card from our friend… to try new places for Christmas. Well this place doesn’t tell u this crap policy until u r done eating. SURPRISE. Anyway there’s plenty of other great places to eat in this area so we won’t miss this place one bit.

This is the best Chinese buffet I have ever gone to. Keep in mind that this is a Chinese buffet, so the 5 stars are relative to other Chinese buffets. I keep telling my coworkers that this is the best Chinese buffet but they don’t agree. The best I get out of them is that this place is pretty good. My plate focuses on their sushi. General rule of thumb is to not eat sushi at a Chinese buffet, but my experiences here have been that the sushi is extremely fresh. Another gauge of quality of a Chinese Buffet for me is their crab puffs. They have some of the best crab buffs I have ever had, even compared to other non-buffet places. I am assuming that they make them in house because they don’t remind me of any of the other crab puffs I have had anywhere else. In addition, all of their other seafood items(fried) have always been fresh, at least when I went there. They also make some house meat balls that are really freakin good, moist, and juicy. I will typically have at least one full plate of them as well. Haven’t tried the hibachi nor do I have any interest in trying it in the future and the desserts are pretty lame with the variety similar to all the other Chinese buffets. But, I am always too full to eat dessert so no biggie for me. Wish I could go eat there right now.

I’ve never been to a buffet lately so we went here at Hibachi Grill & Buffet. The inside was very large, the smell of the food was very tempting. I had a lot of seafood when I got their, because I heard their seafood was their specialty here. There were a lot of salad’s that you can choose from. I am very delighted on the food that they serve here. Such great quality food, just by the smell of it will make you really really hungry.

This is one of the largest Asian buffets I have ever seen — and it’s only $ 10 for lunch!(including tip!) It has almost everything you can think of — from sushi to an actual hibachi grill to regular Asian food to fries and pizza to BBQ to a large fruit and salad bar to a whole booth dedicated to dessert!(Not including ice cream which is located separately!) And okay — it’s not phenomenal food. It’s a giant buffet what do you expect? But it’s pretty darn good for how many choices they have! It hits the spot no matter what you are craving and that’s what I like about this place. My only problem is self-control — it’s really hard to go back to work and concentrate after eating such a large meal! I would also like to point out that it’s definitely better than it’s Clearlake counter part. +1 for the CHOCOLATEFONDUEFOUNTAIN. I mean seriously — how many buffet places have that? Instead of using the marshmallows and pretzels they have on the side I brought over some of the fresh fruit from the salad bar and dipped that instead — delicious! I don’t come here often because of how much food it is but when I do I enjoy it!

June 27th2014 Three adults, two children under 8 It was super busy as it was a Friday night. Loved the food. The best egg rolls in have had in a long time. Really like the chicken teriyaki sticks. Very good. The egg drop soup was some of the best I ever had. My children ate very good and were happy with the food. My fellow diners really enjoyed their food as well. I loved the sushi. Very fresh. Had a table with a view of the sushi bar. They were always making new fresh rolls. Very happy. Will be returning, soon.

There isn’t much positive to say about this place. I met some friends last week after hearing that it was decent. The selection is quite large… it would help if any of it was good. Everything tasted old and reused. The place was packed and it really left me perplexed. I guess we’ve become a society that favors quantity over quality. I’m sure it’ll stick around but my money will be spent elsewhere. Disgusting.

Since my last review, we have eaten here several times and the quality seems to have improved. I don’t mind eating here now. I wish they had a bigger selection of sushi rolls, but it is not bad for a buffet.

My family and I have eaten here and the one in clear lake many times. While the prices have risen over the years, I have never been disappointed by the food. It isn’t gourmet and I sometimes wonder if they source any of it from China, but on the whole I like eating there. The variety is great for big or small families with picky eaters.

Went there this noon for buffet. With coupons the price was about nine bucks per person, which sounded pretty nice huh. But the experience was terrible. The taste was below average. The sushi was not fresh so did the fish. Beef was terribly cooked as well. Crabs tasted as if without salt. Breads drinks cakes deserts all made me sick honestly. If you are okay with the below-average taste and just wish to find some place to fill your stomach, this place could be considered, especially for its price. But never come here if you want to try something good to reward yourself or simply hoping to get an enjoyable experience.

My daughter and I went here today for lunch. I had great expectations for this place and imagined that a buffet in a former Ryan’s Steak was going to have a variety of tasty dishes. I have never been so disappointed. There were all the different steam tables and it looked like a Chinese Golden Corral but in our opinion the stuff they had in them either looked wierd or tasted gross. Out of all the items put out for the buffet I found a. grand total of three that tasted OK and nothing that tasted great. The employees were very annoying to me. They constamyly hovered around the buffet area. Every time I put something on my plate it seemed like these people would just swoop down with atongs and rearrange the remainder of what was left of the food back into piles. One was so close that he knocked into me as I was getting some soup and caused it to slosh out onto my hand, burning it a bit. THEN they sat us at a table that was adjacent to a little stand where a lady was getting tickets together so I literally had someone standing five feet away from me during this whole fiasco. The prices were in line with other Chinese buffets I go to but their food is not so therefore it is a steep price for crap food. Well, I made a huge mistake coming here. It wont happen again for sure! As far as my Chinese foods needs I will gladly keep going to Lees Palace on Garth, China Ko in Crosby or on the Beltway at Wallisville, or the place in the mall San Jac Mall Food Court.!.

Went in on Tuesday on this average Chinese buffet. A lot or most of the stuff wasn’t fresh and had been sitting. Whatever was freshly cooked was decent in flavor. Not worth it for $ 9.99 dinner.

I’ve been here quite a few times since moving to Baytown about a year ago. This has got to be one of the better Chinese buffets I have frequented. They have a really good variety of foods you can choose from. The staff is always on top of things and super polite. The restaurant is always immaculate no matter how much business they have at the time. The sushi bar could use some work but hey… this is a buffet so it’s as good as it gets without a significant jack up in price. The hibachi grill is always a treat and I enjoy a custom dish made to order. Can’t forget the ice cream for dessert. It’s the real deal and not that weird stuff out of a dispensing machine. Well worth the $ 15 bucks per person(Buffet + drink + recommended tip).

I’ve eaten at a lot of Chinese buffets for lunch and I’m not really a fan. This buffet proved to go far beyond my expectations. The food was actually on par with some Chinese restaurants. I had many samples and the person I ate with did the same after the first sample plate my friend said«this buffet is going to be $ 15 a person plus tea plus tip.» I agreed, the food was much too good to be a cheap Chinese buffet. Above and beyond the 12 steam tables of normal Chinese buffet items, they also have a walk up Hibachi bar where the chef will put ingredients you pick together and make you a personal Hibachi entrée. They also have the usual but pretty good sushi bar. The staff was very good they were on top of everything the teas remained filled and the plates were always cleared when we came back to the table. The best part, to our surprise was that the lunch buffet was $ 7.69 so with tea our bill was $ 10 a piece. That is not bad considering you can’t get out of the other local Chinese buffets for less than $ 12-$ 15 apiece for lunch and they are nowhere near as good. I will be back.
