White Castle

Piece of shit made me wait 30 mins for my order fast food my ass. I was the only one there the worker was just on the register the whole time

The managers don’t speak English here and there is constant buzzing in the entire store. As a company it would be nice if they had a bit more variety on their menu. Healthier options would be great. They do have the grilled chicken and veggie sliders which are both delicious. The veggie sliders are better than they look. They just have a green look to them that may turn people off unnecessarily. Maybe more steamed items vs fried. Like they can steam the corn-​dogs nibblers instead of frying them. I personally would have loved having the option to choose between fried shrimp and steamed shrimp when the shrimp nibblers were around, but they took them off the menu. Maybe they can do this to the fish nibblers instead but frying the seafood is safer and faster so maybe they are holding back because it could be unprofitable and time consuming. The smoothies are AMAZING and they are made from fresh fruit. I wish they let us mix the peach, banana and strawberry vs just peach or just strawberry banana. They could do this by using the peach syrup and the strawberries and bananas. Salads would be nice, don’t girls love salads? Also soup for the winter shouldn’t be too hard to do. Like chicken noodle? I’m guessing this may be dangerous because it can scald people if handled improperly but I’m sure they can find a way.

The service is not up to par. I went in for National Slider day which is supposed to offer you two free sliders of your choice which explicitly saids it on their website. The cashier only allowed us to get the original ones. Fine but when we got them, the beef was super dried like they’ve been sitting on the grill for hours. Nothing moist about them. This restaurant also needs a makeover to survive in this fast food industry.

I do love those little burgers :-) chickens are awesome always have to get an extra sack cause we usually eat one before we get the car started, but this place has a small ass parking lot. tables are usually dirty cause people can’t throw out their own garbage and no one seems to ever clean the place

White Castle has solid sliders. The sliders are standard sliders, not the best but good.
I like their chicken rings a lot and chocolate milkshakes!

The worker just finished mopping the floor, and DID NOT CHANGE GLOVES BEFORE TOUCHING THE SLIDERS!!!
I complained to her, so she changed to new gloves, but she still gave me the contaminated sliders! !!

I’ve heard and seen White Castle ads my entire live. I moved to Bayside and after walking past this place about 100 times, I had to stop in and check it out. This was disgusting… I’m not sure how this place survives beyond the evening drunkies parading down Bell.

Always loved Wjite Castle, the burgers and shakes are great. I have stopped at this location numerous times at night after leaving the bars. The wait can be long at times and slow. They need to either hire more people or hire better, faster people.

White Castle is good anytime of day. Especially after drinking to much the night before. Love their cheeseburgers. And so economical! Open 24 hours and they serve breakfast all day.

Typical White Castle. Great for a late night bite after drinking on Bell. I would suggest ordering on the App though. Be sure to sign up for an account before hand though. I placed a whole order and had to sign up. Boy was that a mistake. Had to redo the whole order. Service is always so slow. I think its making a million little burgers that makes this FAST FOOD not so fast. Parking kind of stinks the lot is so small.
I suggest onion rings, fish nibbler and sweet potato fries (not always available) as sides.

Today it was just a breakfast slider.
A tiny bit of heaven. A real egg, with sausage that tastes like the south (a little spice with a lot of flavor). On a small steamed roll, hot and delishousness in an easy to eat and drive box. Ok, I parked, but you could drive and eat it. It does come with cheese, but it passed on the cheese.
Maria was at the window today, as she is most of the time when I have done the drive thru thing. She has a fabulous smile and wonderful personality. I have no idea how long Maria has worked for White Castle, but they sure have a gem of an employee in the form of this lovely lady. Her interaction with you is genuine. Even if your having a bad day Maria will make you smile.
Everyone jokes about WC food, I won’t go into the names such as belly bombs etc, but if your having a bad day and need a wonderful smiling face then just come for a slider and a brief moment with Maria. She will make your day!

Kinda dingy, kinda makes you want to walk back out the door you just walked through. That aside, white castle burgers are so addictive! Steamed, soft buns with perfectly melted cheese and a thin juicy layer of meat (I would not consider it a patty). Their fish nibblers are great as well but a tad fishy without the tartar sauce. I only gave this two stars because of the fact that it is a food establishment but I would not want to physically eat there. The burgers are good to eat maybe once or twice a year-​super unhealthy considering that mystery «meat».

Pathetic. The service is abominable. We waited for over 30 minutes to get 8 doubles with cheese that we never got meanwhile the car in front of us received a bag of bothered delivered by the employee on foot in 8 minutes. We left and got a refund didn’t eat anything this time.
I have been here on other occasions and the burgers are delicious. This one experience was unacceptable.

Love this poison. I can’t stay away. Seriously, sometimes you need to throw caution (and all possible reason) to the wind. Enjoy the burgers. Hard to find outside of NY.

It’s open 24 hours! loll and not just the drive-​thru. but the eating area inside as well! YAY! loll I come here occasionally. in the wee hours after 1 or 2 am. and especially from Thurs to Sunday, I find the usual drunks in here, eating these delicious, but totally unhealthy mini burgers. lol But they taste soooo good. Yet, they’re quite bad for you. #NoBigDeal That hasn’t stopped me from demolishing a crave case on my own (Not quite, but I got really close last year. ²⁶⁄₃₀ on my own!)

Had a very pleasant experience going through this White Castle’s drive thru. We ordered a bag of chicken ring sliders (have you had these? If not, you need to get yourself to the nearest White Castle and put one in your face, stat) and cruised through to the service window where a very sweet cashier handed us our food and hooked us up with a bunch of coupons.
A++, would drive through again.

If you’ve been to any White Castle, you’ve been to all of them.
Good unhealthy drunk food. Just make sure you’re not far from the restroom the next morning.
Some times this stuff is better than ex-​lax.
Chicken rings, loaded fries and the iconic cheeseburger are all pretty good.

Omgee I haven’t had White Castle in soooo flipping long. I stopped by after going to Cue Bar & waiting for the bus. I had 20 mins to spare so decided to grab something to nibble on as I commuted back home.
I ordered 4 Cheeseburgers & a 6 piece Chicken Slider with Honey Mustard sauce to go. Stopping in here brings back childhood memories of when my parents went to White Castle on a Friday night because they didn’t want to cook anything. What joy I have from eating the cheeseburgers & sliders.
The service is quick. The cashiers weren’t rude but I can’t say that they were particularly nice either. Claudette the cashier who took my order seemed to be a robot. I say that because all of her responses seemed somewhat forced & coached. Uhhh whatever… as long as you get my order right we don’t have any problems (which she did). Thank you Baby Jesus lol.

Its grungy, and kind of ghetto but it’s «whites» and that means it’s awesome! Though the local crowd leaves something to be desired, I still prefer eating here vs. taking to go — gotta be fresh and steaming! Perhaps one day they will fix the broken middle booth next to the windows on Bell.
One note worth mentioning: the soft drinks are huge. A medium is close to 32oz and with free refills, this pretty much means endless drinks. Luckily they have a public bathroom.
I’ve been coming to the location as long as I’ve been driving, since the 1980s, and although the décor may have changed, the taste is «same as it’s ever been» — I go steamed with cheese and sometimes will add some onion rings, but usually not.
EDIT: I want to qualify my 4-​star rating by saying that the historical significance of this particular restaurant and my adolescent life will forever color my vision of White Castle, in general, as rosy, and happy. Otherwise, this is a 2 – 3 star situation at best.
