Ordered three times so far… food is good. Delivery is quick and no issues. My brothers favorite Chinese place to order from as of this month. Normally we used to order from somewhere else but their would always be some issues and most places don’t speak English properly. The worker here comes off a bit rude but listens well. I will continue to order here and possibly give this place a 5star if they remain consistent

Great food! have no had a problem with anything we have ordered. All the ingredients taste fresh, and it always arrives hot. Order is always correct when it arrives too. Sometimes they are very busy on the weekends and its a very long wait on the phone, or for it to be delivered.

Worst Chinese i’ve ever eaten. Both shrimp chowfun and general tso chicken were SO dry. Taste awful! They came an hour after i ordered. The hot oil was crushed in the bag. This is my 2nd time ordering since its so close to where i live. They never send napkins nor utensils. Never wasting my money on this place!

THEBEST. HANDSDOWN. END. OF. STORY. this food is always fresh, light and never slimy or greasy. I am always confident in my order, delivery or take out. No other place compares in Bayside or even in other neighborhoods. I can honestly taste the difference in other places. We are always happy with chow. I have them on speed dial! Please, never change!

One of the better places for take out Chinese in Bayside. It’s clean and the delivery is fast. My kids enjoy their dishes as well. I always order from them cause I know I won’t be disappointed.

The best in the area, it’s pretty clean for a takeout place and convenient for me since I don’t live too far away. I highly recommend the cheese wontons. They’re fried but aren’t oily, super crunchy and light. I’m obsessed with them. Besides that I love the cashew chicken. The sauce has great flavor and isn’t overly salty like some other takeout places I’ve been to. It’s fairly consistent as well. They do get busy around lunch time but that’s expected. The middle aged woman in front is always polite and friendly even when she’s being rushed. Her English isn’t perfect but you can see that she’s trying her best. Sometimes the person behind the counter changes and the attitude of that person may not be as friendly as the owner’s. The one rude lady seems to have been fired as i haven’t seen her there in the past month(i consistently go for lunch on a regular basis, cravings) Pricing is very decent. I got an entire box container overfilled with fried chicken for under $ 5. I also like them because they have healthier choices. You can choose to have brown rice, steamed veggies and nothing leaves that greasy feeling in your throat like some other places. Things aren’t overly saucy and there is little to none msg in the food. There are vegetarian options as well. Overall you get the bang for your buck! I rarely give out 5 stars but for a Chinese restaurant they’re very consisted both with service and food. Update: Also I did not know they had a website you can order from… Most takeout places do not.

Just another regular Chinese take out spot. Dunno what the rave reviews are about. Their food taste like any other Chinese take out. It isn’t spectacular nor is it terrible. I do have to say that their sesame chicken do taste off at times. I’ve since stopped ordering it. Everything else I’ve ordered is pretty consistent. They are usually fast and haven’t had any problems with their service. Never had any experience with their delivery so I have nothing to say about that. Overall, it’s your regular run of the mill Chinese food spot for when you don’t feel like cooking.

About 5 months ago I was raving about this place but there have now been two incidents where I will not tolerate the lack of customer service anymore! For starters yesterday was a fiasco! My brother who lives less than 2 miles away ordered from here as per my recommendation. After placing his order the girl and I quote told him«you better give driver good tip he drive far» ! My brother was to say the least taken back. I was sincerely annoyed by this because living closer to them we’ve always given a great tip! This is America when did tips become mandatory!?! It’s for good service! I went to the restaurant to speak with the manager she was apologetic HOWEVER the nosey body employee who was taking orders decided to waltz on over and get involved! She had the audacity to say she was doing my family a favor to «deliver that far»! I had to let her know that a favor would be giving her food for free delivering is the drivers job! The restaurant is offering this service and they live LESS than two miles away! Needless to say they won’t see a penny from me! The food is good BUT ain’t GOLD! There is to many restaurants around that I can try and more than likely receive better service! This is their strike three im done with this place!

Best Americanized Chinese food in the area. I do not say Americanized in a bad way — who doesn’t have a craving for General Tso’s Chicken on a frequent basis? Besides vegans — and they may be craving in secret. Their fried chicken wings on pork fried rice are cheap and excellent — lots of flavor… yes, flavor that goes beyond salt and oil. The chicken is always cooked well, never over done. When the wings are small they send extra to compensate. The rest of the foods are all good. 1 star taken away for two things. The fried rice that comes with the wings is seriously sparse. Rice, a little pork, and some white onion bits. Come on guys, a few more veggies and scallions please! A bigger disappointment is the use of white meat for sesame/General Tso’s chicken. Bleh. Dry. These dishes were made for the rich tender indulgence of dark meat.

One of the cleaner Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. I usually call ahead to place my order because they tend to get busy especially during lunch. They have a wide variety of lunch special options. I like that their food taste clean and healthy. especially their mei fun noodle with roast pork. They put very little MSG in their food. They also cater to your sauce spice level. Only downside is, if you do decide to eat here, it gets super hot.

After months of satisfaction with this place, I am sorry to report that they are trying to poison my family. I had one sporkful of fried rice ten minutes ago and I still have the taste of gasoline in my mouth. Gross. I called to ask if this was our penance for being too lazy to cook, and they said«Sorry, only been here one week.» I’m sad that the old chef is gone. Wait … maybe that’s where these weird Soylent Green looking meatless ribs came from… IT’S PEOPLE!!! I’ll order from a sushi place next time. A Japanese proprietor would at least have the decency to commit seppuku.

This neighborhood has a handful of Chinese takeout selection but Chow is definitely one-up from the rest. They tend to cook with much less grease than other Chinese takeouts, and so you can taste the difference. Plus, they put much care into their packaging, which I love(I’m very much OCD about that). My family and I really appreciate their«Family Meal» menu which offers a choice of soup and 2 or 3 different entrees at a great price. The Egg Drop Soup is hearty and delicious. Shrimp lo mein, chicken with broccoli, Hunan chicken, Szechuan beef are all yummy. And on top of that, they are quick with deliveries! For a Chinese takeout joint, Chow is pretty darn good.

I was introduced to this Americanized Chinese takeout by my boyfriend who fell in love with their boneless spare ribs. He was craving fried chicken, so we decided to stop by Chow’s to satisfy his craving plus get takeout for dinner. We ordered the combination platter of boneless spare ribs(amazing), hot and sour soup(good), fried chicken wings(boyfriend says they tasted healthier than other fried wings), and vegetable lo mein. Food was very good and not too greasy. I even got a free soda with my order. Fast turnaround time for food and delicious! Would definitely be back to satisfy my Americanized Chinese craving. Also, they accept cards, which is a bonus!

Back here again. Really enjoy this place. They are always busy so things must be fresh. Have you tried the eggplant in garlic sauce. It will not disappoint.

Randomly stumbled into this place while in Bayside, decided to check it out. Great kingpao chicken. Like really great. First of all, the portion was huge for what I paid. There was a lot of chicken, most take out places skimp on the meat, but not here!(Seriously, look at the pictures that others have posted) I don’t know how they did it but those little bits of chicken were so moist and tender. Literally cooked perfectly. I don’t know how anyone could cook chicken so well like that. It wasn’t overly saucy but just enough to coat. Preparation was fast and the staff was very nice. No complaints whatsoever. Will definitely come back again!

The food here is on the healthy side. Don’t expect your super saucy and salty Chinese take-out. The lunch and family meal specials are great deals! The meats are always fresh tasting and the fried pieces are nice and hearty… none of that super starch encrusted general tsos chicken. The brown rice can sometimes be a bit dry but I can forgive them for that. I would recommend the beef and broccoli, general tsos chicken, and hot and sour soup!
