The Tux Shop

great place I love how the ladies helped me pick out a tuxedo for my wedding with there expertise and knowledge on formal wear the quickly helped me pick out my suit 1,2,3,. the also had a discount wheel that I thought I also spin after I got my tuxedo but it was for the prom kids I thought that was awesome… I used this tux shop for years now I even remember the one in Hoboken I use to go to but hey I will take the TP or light rail its not that far at all… I just wanted to thank Robert, Peter, deb, and how can I forget the shinning star that helped me the most Fran thank you are wedding was wonderful me and the guys looked like a million bucks…

Sweet Jesus! This place looks like a total dive! In fairness I’ve heard positive things about The Tux Shop over the years. Personally, I wasn’t a fan! They had some crappy looking wheel you could spin to get discounted or free upgrades for your rental. The outside is falling apart and the inside isn’t much better. I took my brother here to get his tux measurements for our wedding and was less then thrilled that a 16 year old was taking his measurements while on her cell phone fighting with her boyfriend. She was barely paying attention to what she was doing and originally wrote down that my brothers neck was 6 inches… HUH!!! It’s comical looking back at it now, but a little disturbing at the same time. All jokes asside and putting asside the look of the place– which really doesn’t matter when you get down to it– I won’t be using them b/​c I don’t trust their measurements and don’t want to deal with drama so close to the wedding if the guys sizes are all screwed up.
