The food is good, everyone in the establishment is friendly; no problem there. However, there is a problem when you place an order via
at 8:11pm, call at 9:05pm to add a drink but are told your order will be there in 5 mins, call back at 9:30pm to check on the delivery only to be told that it was an error and your order will NOW be there in 5 mins!!! Sighs… listen… I get that they are busy; the food is good and I will buy from them again. But to take 90 mins to deliver 6 pieces of shrimp, a house salad, a slice of cheesecake and a 7Up is a bit much. I have one request: be a bit more timely. Other than that, I will only buy from them when I can actually walk in to pick it up. This is the 4th time my delivery was a bad experience which is why they are –2 stars from me.

The food here is delicious and the staff is super friendly. We often bring a big church group and they have a room in the back where we can eat and enjoy each other’s company. They have been in the community for many years. They put a chain pizza store that opened up on the same block out of business, so it goes to show you how good they are.
I have never had a bad experience here and I have been coming here for years. Whenever I bring friends here, they rave about it.

Love the food, but the delivery is terrible. Took over an hour and multiple phone calls (which didn’t even help) until my order arrived. I would probably nderstand the terrible delivery time if I lived all the way across town, but I only live a block away.

Great food can’t go wrong with the price. Pizza and pasta are delicious! The delivery guys are great too. Make sure to ask for utensils and napkins, when you place your order.

Horrible experience. Never received food. Didn’t call me until an hour after when it was supposed to be at my house even after I called them to confirm (ordered via seamless).
With so many great local places, no reason to waste your money here.

Ordered Pizza delivery from here twice, both times took about an hour which was expected. The pizza itself was better than average for the area based on what I’ve had so far. The Jalapeño poppers were also solid. I would order again from here, but nothing special.

I always order for delivery from there. Fast delivery plus good taste it’s a great combination. I went to dine in before, it’s a small place but overall it’s nice one. Nice stuff, friendly and courteous. I recommend it.

Delivery went over the estimated time given. When the food arrived there were no utensils, napkins, etc. Delivery instructions specified that we were at a pool. When we called the place they insisted that we need to tell them we need napkins and utensils. There also was no hot sauce on the pizza we paid for and they didn’t want to send that over either when we asked.
So head up!
When you order your food hope you get what you want! Also make sure you explain everything you need otherwise you’ll be eating salad with your hands.

Fontana is on grubhub. It is winning the internet war in Bayonne. No, I do not want to call your restaurant to place an order. NOPE. The thin crust pizza with mushrooms is my go to pizza from Fontanas. It is like a bar pie. They also make a mean salad with balsamic vinaigrette, mozzarella, roasted red peppers and chicken. When I am cold or frankly do not want to go outside or use my microwave I will log on to my
account and place an order.
Props to you for being internet friendly. In fact, I think I will place an order right now.

The food is delicious, pizza slices are large, but damn does their delivery take long. Several times I’ve waited over an hour for the food to arrive, and for small meals. Eating in is usually a fine experience though.

Came here because we had a
certificate. We sat at a table to dine in and were not greeted for at least 10 minutes. The waitress was nice but distracted with a family party in the back. I assume it was the owners family as every one was so familiar. We ordered fried calamari and the Fontana special pizza. The calamari was not good. It was very large adult pieces that were tough. I prefer the small tender pieces. The marinara was good. The pizza was not good either. The toppings were onion, pepper, sausage, pepperoni and extra cheese. The pizza came out «rare» and was very unappetizing. Turned out very sloppy.
When we went to pay and give our
certificate the owner said they do not accept them. After a bad meal this was almost too much to take. After haggling he did take the credit off of our tab but it was still a pretty terrible experience.

I came here once & ordered the chicken francese. It was very delicious. It was very very filling. I ordered once dish of this for me & my boyfriend to share & we didn’t even finish it!
The service was fast & good. They also have a TV in there for you to watch.
Regis & Kelly has been here before too.
People should go here & write more reviews for this lovely place. :)
