Amici’s Fine Dining

My friends and I were here for a paint nite. Food and Drinks were okay, nothing outstanding. However, the host was very attentive to our needs.

I dine at Amici’s quite often, for the most part I enjoy the entire experience. The meals are delicious, the staff is wonderful including the wait staff and bartenders. You can choose to dine either in the nicely appointed dining room or the comfortable bar.
From Pasta to Ribeye I enjoy the restaurant.

Food tastes like it was previously cooked and reheated. All meat preperations lack moisture except for the surface greasy seperated breading, a pretty good sign of precooked meat. Lobster ravioli, if they did contain lobster, was impossible to taste due to a spicy sauce which overpowered any other component rendering it a waste. Sadly these were the positives with our order. The bread was the only thing we kept, while we sent the remainder to the trash.

Did not honor their own coupon and the owner lied saying they opened at 4 on a Sunday instead of 12. How are these people still in business?

We have eaten at some 4 – 5 star restaurants and this one is by far the best. We had the Chicken Parm dinner and it was great… Had the cheesecake after dinner and it was great. Twice now we took left overs home…

Food was very good. Although was a little weird that we were sitting in the same room with 2 pretty large parties. The service was also above average. The bartender is extremely friendly (sometimes to much) lol but she was helpful with choosing a drink. She also knew what not to recommend which is appreciated. I would definitely come back again and recommend this place.

I am giving this place 4 stars because the bartender, Liz, was amazing! She is so social and personable. She makes killer martinis. The food was very good. I’ll definitely check this place out again.

How is this place still in business?!? When we were there on a Sunday night there was only one other table in the whole place during our entire tine there & that is typical of other times I’ve been there even several years ago. Three staff people (the charming older gentleman who is the host, one waiter & a women who just sat at the bar while we were there so I don’t know what her job is). Food isn’t bad but given the lack of customers it’s almost impossible that ingredients can be kept fresh. The. biggest issue is that I bought a coupon on Unilocal (pay $ 10 for $ 20 worth of food) & they actually refused to accept it. The waiter told me «the owner doesn’t want to accept those anymore»! When I assertively explained that it was completely illegal to offer a coupon (especially one I had to purchase) & then not honor it, they finally agreed to accept it but not before an argument! Needless to say I will not be going back here. Save your time & go somewhere else.
