La Cubanita Deli

Came here since locals claim they are good. Ordered a Cuban sandwich which it would be a typical dish and a top seller for a Cuban place.
Dissapointed from thw moment I noticed how light in weight it was and, to my surprise when I checked it out, I found out why so light.
It just had a thin slice of pork with cheese on one side and one pickle. This is ridiculous and first and last time.

Always brings back the very best memories of after-​school Cubanita runs. Nothing beats the chicken sandwich with mayo & hot sauce.

Today was Cuban sandwich day. I had a taste for it today and the best part about it was that she made it fresh right there in front of me. After having this weight loss surgery I really don’t eat that much anymore or have the taste for certain foods are used to indulge in. But today I treated myself to that Cuban sandwich good. Only was able to eat a quarter of it. And it was still delicious.

I don’t get to this place as often as I would like but when I do it is never a disappointment ! They always have the freshest food and they have really good variety of foods.

The food isn’t even real Cuban food. Met the owner and he wasn’t very pleasant. I was not impressed by this place at all.

Mainly known for their chicken sandwich, been coming here for years since my high school days. Not truly a cuban deli, but and service and food have always been great.

Came here based on the positive reviews. Not a true Cuban sandwich in my opinion. The pork was good but it was missing the pickle and the mustard. The chicken sandwich was better bc it was less dry and slightly more flavorful. Make sure to get hot sauce. Overall sandwiches are cheap. It’s a lot of sandwich for $ 5. Service was quick.
I would come back again and try the other sandwiches.

Hands down the best, ABSOLUTELY without a doubt THE BEST chicken sandwich I have ever eaten, and it’s so stupid simple you wonder why more sandwich shops don’t do it like this.
Fried chicken legs and thighs, they scrape the meat off the bones and chop it roughly, it’s heaped into a hero and some hot sauce and mayo is added, then the magic happens, it’s pressed in a panini style toaster for a couple minutes and voila, the best chicken sandwich that will ever meet your lips. If it sounds too good to be true it certainly is, because something so simple should not be this good. Also, roasted pork/​pernil is another option.
I have never tried their other typical foods, rice beans, stew chicken, beef etc… simply because the sandwich is too damn good.
And it’s only $ 5 !!! How’s that for ya? Deal of a lifetime. Just keep in mind it’s a deli, buy your sandwich and eat in your car. I usually take a bite while walking to my car because I am so impatient.

idk what everyone is talking about, i popped in here for the famous chicken sandwich everyone on here raves about and thought it was pretty gross. definitely will not be back. people were nice though.

I absolutely love la cubanita ! I’ve been going there since I was a child if you ever go make sure you have there chicken sandwich it’s the best !! They have plenty of food choices everyone is always nice and the service is always fast food is always fresh, if you have any special request they make it happen. So is your ever in bayshore or brentwood make your way there !!

cubanita? Sandwiches!!! (now I have to go get one today) (20 minute drive, worth it.) so here is the low down: Italian hoagie roll– super soft– crispy fried chicken legs and thighs sliced right off the bone in front of you– piled onto the hoagie roll. american cheese, hot sauce and mayo– bam– into the hot press for 5 minutes that like toasts and flattens it like a panini — – LIKE BUTTER MELTING IN YOUR MOUTH. The place looks like a dump, and so is the neighborhood but there are these jewels scattered around there this is one of them.

These sandwiches are really good, cheap… And its food on the go. I havent tried their cuban just the chicken one but i will soon to see if i like it or not… I give them four stars because i find their meat filled empanadas and other fried goods to be soggy whenever i have purchased them but their sandwiches are delicious!!!

What a gem! So happy we found this place! Chicken sandwich and plantains were bangin’! So cheap too!

One of the best sandwich places in the area by far. The chicken sandwich is a local area staple. It’s good. Gf loves it.
My favorite is the cubano. It’s so good you should order two of them. Served on a six inch bun it’s an amazing mix of tender slow cooked pork, ham and cheese served on nice crusty bread. It’s so good.
