Great burgers! It’s a nice atmosphere and on Monday they have $ 5 burgers. My new favorite!

The burgers here are so good, juicy and flavorful. Their choice of buns are the perfect match for their soft and juicy beef patties. I had the bacon cheeseburger. Their ranch dressing is also delicious and goes great with everything, especially their cheese fries. Lastly, our waiter was super friendly and made the experience even more awesome. I think this has become my favorite burger place!

I can say that I have never been to a place and felt the mistreatment off the back. The restaurant was completely empty with only two tables occupied. Of course we were seated on the other side of the building and far in a corner. The waitress had to come out of her way to reach us. I guess the restaurant wasn’t made for African Americans. So we decide to leave because of the awkward position. My money is green like everyone else in this world. And to top it off the hostess told us have a good day as we were walking out. Now if that was my business and a customer leave before service I would have my employees question why the customer is leaving before service. So maybe places like that should put a confederate flag outside to warn us! And the one star is for the setup.

Well thanks to this place I no longer have to drive to NOLA for my roast beef poboy. Theirs is the real deal! One of the hardest things to leave behind was my beloved roast beef when I left after Katrina. THANK YOU for bringing it close to me.
My 5 year old had the chicken kid’s meal and loved it. She never eats, so this is a big time plus for them.
Husband had the Rueben burger and loved it, as well.
I will definitely be returning. The service was excellent and loved the atmosphere.

I came here the other day with my boyfriend. The place is very spacious and clean. Everything we ordered tasted delicious and came in a timely manner. Service was great too! Would definitely come back.
We had the turkey club and breakfast burger ;-)

Had their 3 cheese burger, in a word… awesome. We ordered one cooked medium and the other medium well, they were both spot on. I have tried most burger places in Baton Rouge and this by far is best burger in town. Service was fast and friendly, thanks for a great experience. Definitely will return.

So I decided to try this restaurant because I had seen it advertised a lot. The environment was really nice. The booths were cool because they were very private. The service was ehh. Both me and my girlfriend never got any refills. We got the fried pickles as an appetizer which were super great. I ate too many I would say. I had a hard time deciding what burger I wanted to get but the Jalapeño ranch burger seemed pretty popular so I went with that. One thing I really like about the burger was the buns. They were super soft. But the party was too big and everything was falling a part and I ended up just giving up trying to eat it after a ¼th of the way done. The patty was also very dry and had no flavor. My girlfriend got the surf n turf burger and the shrimp on her burger was all piled up on one spot on her burger and was not spread out at all. Her burger also fell apart and she just ended up eating the shrimp off of it. It also kind of maybe me uncomfortable with how short the girls skirts were. It’s called «Your Mom’s restaurant» not Hooters. I’m not sure if they’re suppose to wear it or its their choice, but I’m just not a fan.

Baton Rouge isn’t short on burger joints, but this isn’t a mediocre burger place. I didn’t eat inside — we ordered it for pick up. I just got a basic bacon cheeseburger. It was pretty delicious. That location has had some trouble keeping businesses open there, so hopefully this place will work there!

Met some friends here for a quasi-​business lunch. With a name like «Your Mom’s» — you could expect
to find a carb heavy menu with a lot of comfort food — and that’s what you find. BUT it’s pretty special comfort food with some creativity, generosity and mercy. Let me expand on those three comments.
Firstly, there’s creativity in the menu — e.g., The Peanut Butter and Jelly Bacon Burger. I know — it might sound a little bizarre. Could such a combination be anything more than a gimmick? Short Answer: Yes it could. It was uniquely delicious. We got the sweet potato fries with it — which matched up well. And there were a number of other creative combinations on the menu which are crying out for a return visit.
Secondly, there’s generosity. By that I mean — portion size. The burger was 8 oz of very nice beef, the bun was full and fresh, the sweet potato fries were falling off the plate. My friends who had the salads received heaping portions that could have easily fed two people.
Thirdly, there’s mercy. By that I mean — really good food at a really fair price. The menu doesn’t break the bank which I greatly appreciate.
Our waiter was good, friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The only downside was it would’ve been good for him to check on us a little bit more frequently. However that may not have been under his control — sometimes people call in sick or don’t show up sometimes you get too many tables sometimes a table just blows up on you. I spent enough time waiting tables to have some sympathy there.
The atmosphere was fine, fairly open with the kind of «garage chic» feel to it. Good experience — definitely planning to give it another try

The fried pickle burger is delicious! Also the spicy chicken sandwich and the broccoli cheese soup are both to die for. Friendly staff, nice environment and delicious food.

Nice place! Wide selection of reasonably priced burgers and sandwiches. I had the original burger and wow the meat was cooked just right. My friend and I had to take a break after only eating half because we were getting full.
We also got the fried pickle appetizer but it was much too salty for us to. Disappointing because it would’ve been good otherwise. I’m sure it was just a kitchen mistake and not how they normally come. Because seriously, it was way too salty for us 4. That can’t be normal
The service was on point! The waiter kept checking on us, brought us more water without us noticing (how does that even happen? We were talking and it was like a new glass appeared out of thin air), and was so polite and unbothered by everything.

Very very very slow. Sat waiting for more than an hour for a single burger and sandwich. The Hammond location is fantastic. This one, not so sure.

I will definitely be back! Great décor and atmosphere. I had the blue burger and it was awesome. Seasoned fries were good and the presentation was nice. Service was good however the drink I received was not what I ordered. Another plus: the restroom was spotless!

Hard to believe that this little place could be so good. I had the roast beef poboy and the wife had a chicken Caesar salad. The debris left behind after I got done could make another sandwich!!! The staff was very friendly and quick on the service. A perfect lunch spot at a perfect price. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for the big 3. Good service, food and price. Oh yeah and shout out to Ashley and Alec for the awesome service!!!

Don’t sit yourself at the bar! We waited an hour and a half for our food and almost half an hour just to have someone ask for our drinks. I was really exited to eat at this place… however, waiting that long for your meal wasn’t as worth it. It wasn’t even that crowded, especially for a Saturday night! Maybe you’ll have better luck sitting in the restaurant area, but who knows.

I wish I could review the food but I’ve been sitting at my chair for a little over an hour with nothing but an empty beer glass. The service is nowhere to be found, and I’m surrounded by equally as angry customers waiting on their entrées. The service has no sense of urgency, and seemed annoyed when I asked when my food was ready. I have a few friends who work here, and I really don’t want to review this place so badly; but when the service doesn’t seem to care about how their customers are doing, they won’t be successful. I would only recommend this place if you’re prepared to wait for 45 minutes after you order.

Such good food and really great service. Our table had a burger, a house salad, and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Everyone was so pleased, and the salad is huge! Everything was good down to the house dressing and bread on the sandwiches. Overall we were really pleased and we will definitely come back!

This is a very nice burger joint. Staff was very eager and attentive. A big selection or burgers and sandwiches to choose from. I had the jalapeño ranch burger and it was perfectly delicious!
