I wish I had read the review from8/​19/​2012. Next time I will try to find out more. I will say that in the time since, things have not improved. I feel like I just wasted $ 29 and two hours of time. I may be able to leave the toes polished, but the nails will have to be redone. This is a pitiful excuse for a «spa». If I could give negative stars I would.

I visited the spa for the first time using a groupon for a mani-pedi…wow, what a mistake! There was one technician working with both my mother and myself. It took over two hours to complete a basic mani-​pedi. On top of this, we learned that the technician had just graduated high school and had no clue as to what she was doing. She admitted not even attending cosmetology school yet. She didn’t know how to push the cuticles back nor clip dead skin. She used a nail hardener as a top coat and scraped the remaining old polish off my nails instead of usin polish remover before beginning the manicure. At one point, she left both of us with our hands in a bowl of cold water for 20 minutes while she went to have a lunch break. She also talked on her cell phone during my manicure and had a friend visit during the appointment discussing personal information. More unprofessionalism included talking negatively about another client who was in the room. In addition, the tools were not being disinfected as they were used and the pedicure bowl was not disinfected before the next client arrived. My sister also had an appointment before me and witnessed the technician clean the foot scrubber in dirty water that she had just soaked her feet in. During my pedicure, she forgot the water was on and it spilled out onto my purse and shoes. She was very messy and the polish job was a joke; i needed to repaint my nails myself the next day. This was a horrible experience and even though I only spent $ 30 for the groupon, I would not return if it was free. We went here to get ready for a function that night and was very disappointed. This was a sorry excuse for a spa and I have no idea how they’ve been in business for longer than a few months.
