This was one of the best Donuts I have ever had. I hate when every donut is glazed with toppings on it. These donuts tasted so fresh and there wasn’t a glaze underneath the topping which I appreciated! I got 12 maple bacon donuts a little before 7AM. I had to get some before class and everyone loved them. It was a treat to have bacon on a donut !

Wonderful and unique donuts! The Cinnamon Toast Crunch donut was authentic and delicious! Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the boudin breakfast sandwich had no taste whatsoever, but I know what to get and its strictly donuts from here on out going here.

If you’re an avid donut eater(I know, me neither, I swear) you know the different kinds of donuts: big and bready, weird and cakey, and the soft, warm, melt in your mouth, eat the whole box kind. Tiger Deauxnuts are very definitively in the last category. Intense attention to detail goes into making these and playful and interesting flavors round out the selection. A must try.

Boudin… boudan? Put it on a sandwich and put it in my mouth. They make the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. In. My. Life. …and I eat a lot of breakfast sandwiches. And king cake with bacon? Damn son.

Apparently this place have 4 ½ star review. Went here expecting to get good husband order 2 donut and I order strawberry French toast. Really disappointed. French toast was so soggy I couldn’t even eat it because it like eating wet bread and rare egg whites. We end up throwing it away and going to The Kolache kitchen instead.

The pumpkin spice donut was amazing and definitely my favorite! I also liked the peanut butter pretzel, but it was so rich I shared it with my boyfriend. Nice local donut shop that is worth trying! I would love to see a glazed blueberry cake-style donut on the menu.

The donuts weren’t bad. They are definitely worth trying. But I would have to say their breakfast sandwich are amazing! Very rich flavors, so try it if you want to treat yourself to breakfast.

Absolutely delicious! The boudin breakfast sandwich is now my favorite breakfast food in Baton Rouge! Very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of seating and parking.

My 5 stars are for the Pumpkin Spice Donut alone. Sure, there are other things on the menu like the sticky sweet Honey Glazed donut and salty sweet Maple Bacon donut and they are both a delight, but its October and everyone knows only one thing matters in October… PUMPKIN. Be aware, these fall-inspired donuts are only available on the weekends and you are going to want to eat more than one so don’t go on diet day one. Just go and enjoy it and dip it in coffee and bask in the pumpkin glow, it’s a glorious thing.

Geez, why has it taken me this long to review my favorite weekday breakfast stop? You can tell when you walk in — and moreso as you get to know the place — that Tiger Deaux-nuts is a labor of love through and through. This ain’t your meemaw’s donut shop, though. Tiger Deaux-nuts has a core menu of traditional standbys with their own creative stamp(the«regular», a honey-vanilla glazed, is going to be the first donut of the rest of your life), as well as a continually changing menu of Wonka-esque innovations like the Maple Bacon, the Orange Creamsicle, the Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and the Jalapeño Cream Cheese. Yes, by all means, expect to pay a small premium here compared to what you would at Mary Lee or some other carbon-copy boring chain, but when your boss promotes you out of the blue, you’ll suspect that it had something to do with you bringing a dozen of the best donuts in Louisiana to work for your morning meeting. Not in a sweet mood? Try the breakfast sandwiches, served on an unglazed donut and featuring their own homemade boudin, sausage, or bacon(listed in descending order of my personal preference). My first time, they cooked my egg over easy(as is the default), but I asked for it scrambled, and they scrambled it. Small kindnesses like this mean everything at 7:30AM. You can walk in and out with anything from a single to two or three dozen in about thirty seconds, but there’s plenty of austere yet clean indoor seating(and clean bathrooms!) if you prefer to make an event out of it. Tiger Deaux-nuts has been the best part of my morning commute for a while now. The staff are friendly and talkative, the coffee(River Road) is fresh and affordable, and the location is convenient and central. This place is a secret that’s simply too good to keep to myself.

Fantastic! This place rocks! Amazing selection of specialty donuts. My fave is the Maple Bacon. Deelish! The Vanilla Jalapeño was unique and tasty too! They also serve an organic coffee by River Roads. Definitely a thumbs up recommendation!

I’ve followed this donut journey since they were located in the back of the shopping center on Jones Creek Road. The specialty donuts are tasty and fun for kids. Family friendly atmosphere with plenty of seating…

Hands down THEBESTBREAKFASTSANDWICH in town!!! My preference is their sausage, egg and cheese. Fresh homeade sausage using local pork from #Indieplate, added to that is their perfect blend of herbs an spices. The the bread for the sandwich is actually an unglazed, uncut deaux-nut, which gives it that hint of sweetness. Absolutley the best! You will never eat a McGriddle again!!! Friendly service, great coffee, and of course the gourment deaux-nuts! It’s a MUST try. Thanks, Jeff!

Got a full set for my crew this am… dozen glazed and dozen and a half of weirdos. Break down is this: Plain glazed Plain w choc icing Key lime Nutella Blueberry lemon Honey vanilla Maple bacon Tiger sprinkles Choc and sprinkles Strawberry Cream Cheese The presentation was so impressive– they felt so special to receive. Also got a free dozen donut holes(that did not make it to the office w me) bc had the local discount card. Rave reviews about all of them! Only downsize– little pricey — $ 1 and some chg for each reg and $ 2 for each specialty. Would have liked a little discount for bulk– but for a one off treat– this definitely made a great impression and raised morale.

I was told by a coworker that these deaux-nuts were awesome. I was more interested in the Boudin Egg and Cheese Sandwich! The building is clean and open… it’s straight to the point … You walk up to the counter and have visual examples of their selection and you order. I ordered the Boudin breakfast sandwich and was satisfied with the customer service. Pricing is reasonable. THESANDWHICHWASTASTY! The bread that is used to make the sandwhich is like a crispy sweet buttery situation and they make a boudin sausage patty and top that with a perfectly cooked medium egg and cheddar cheese! The sandwhich temperature was hot and the cheese was melted perfectly. The boudin had a great flavor. Only one point for improvement would be how greasy the sandwhich was, maybe less oil on the grill when frying the«boudin patty» and egg. Not something I will eat daily because it was a tad greasy BUT defiantly something that I would crave from time to time!

Happy to finally try this shop. The interior would probably stop most in their tracks, especially if you enter from the back door, but hey — what do you say? I’m here for the food! I tried the maple bacon doughnut and strawberry cheesecake doughnut. Both were good, but not life changing by any means. The maple bacon was definitely the better of the two. And it may have been much better if warmed, because I tend favor warm doughnuts. It was not too sweet and had small bits of bacon on top– nice combo. All doughnuts are decorated well and offer tons of creative options, such as root beer float, Nutella, honey cream, Etc. The staff was friendly and store was clean. I would like to visit again to try the French toast. Overall, a great new option for doughnuts!

So excited Tiger Deaux-nuts has re-established in Baton Rouge. I was a junkie for the Maple Bacon Kingcake and donuts till I went through withdraws upon their move from their Jones Creek location till they opened up on Government St. I’m so glad my daughter’s Girl Scout troop decided on an impromptu breakfast here this morning because I’ve been dying to get my Maple Bacon fix! First and foremost, the donuts are top notch. Seriously, check out my pic for their delicious and very unique selection. My faves include the Maple Bacon(obviously), the Nutella Banana, and the Strawberry Cream Cheese. Sadly they were out of the Peanut Butter and Jelly Time, which I’m sure is entirely because they are just that good. Oh and I mistakenly forgot to get their Maple Bacon donut holes this morning as I remember they were always scrumptious too. The owner, Jeff, seems to really put his heart and soul into the donut choices. Even better though, is they now have delicious egg sandwich options as well. I am NOT usually a fan of runny eggs, but I must say, the runny eggs, English muffin style bread, crisp bacon, and maple flavoring made this sandwich absolutely perfect. If only I had known there was an option with boudin, and I would have tried that one too! My one and only critique that prevents Tiger Deaux-nuts from getting the perfect 5 is the ambiance. My thoughts are that it is a great space for a breakfast establishment with a ton of potential but could definitely use a creative touch. If they could add some pizazz to the interior, then no doubt in my mind they would draw in more crowds and compete better with some of the other successful, locally owned businesses in the very artsy mid city area of Baton Rouge. Still, even with this critique, I would recommend Tiger Deaux-nuts to anyone with an exquisite palate for gourmet donuts and breakfast sandwiches.

The Daisies have taken over Tiger Deauxnuts. An impromptu Girl Scout meet up landed us at Tiger Deauxnuts. I haven’t been to the new establishment since they moved. I will start by saying there is ample space for lots of people to come and enjoy the food. Parking right on the street and in the back of the building, so don’t freak out when you drive up. The menu is not overly complicated and full of too many choices. They have their regular donuts as well as their specialty items. Bacon maple glazed donut, Nutella cream, and strawberry preserve to name a few. If donuts are not your thing, they also make a few sandwiches. Bacon egg and cheese, sausage egg and cheese, and boudin egg and cheese. I got the bacon egg and cheese(no brainer) and was given a knife and fork. I cut into it and the fried egg had a nice semi liquidy middle(just the way I like a fried egg). It did not take me long to gobble it up, and I did save a quarter of it for wifey. All in all, the food here is great; donuts are fresh, top quality ingredients, river road coffee(local goodness). Don’t be put off by the slight drabness of rooms(dining area and bathrooms). You will be more than pleased with Tiger Deauxnuts.

This is my favorite doughnut shop in Baton Rouge. Maple bacon doughnuts are my absolute favorite, but they other unique flavors. They also make the best king cakes during the season, IMHO.
