My first time attending this well known establishment, it was packed as always. It was a Saturday afternoon and my guest and I were either given the choice of waiting 45 minutes or dine at the bar. So of course I picked the bar. Luckily the bartender was awesome. He had an amazing personality. Even provided suggestions on what to eat. I picked the garden delight. It was an egg white omelette with fresh veggies. Also on the side it came with fresh fruit and an English muffin. Everything was fresh and very filling! I even ate the English muffin and typically I do not care for the taste. So if you’re looking for quality brunch food this is your place. I’d just recommend getting there at a good time so you won’t have up edit forever.

Awesome spot in Citi place. Very Friendly Staff and very well laid out space. Menu is extensive with a wide variety of dishes. Get there early as they fill up fast or wait till after the rush. I find if you go around 1pm or so you can get a seat easily. Egg Benedict Oscar is a favorite of Mine. With flat iron steak and crab meat. Grilled asparagus is also a greet compliments to this dish. It is like Steak and Eggs on steroids! The crispy potatoes on the side were also EGG-cellent(see what I did there? lol) Huevos rancheros is also and all star dish. I recommend adding the chorizo. Pricing may be a tad igher than your average breakfast but this place is far from your average breakfast spot! and as we all know, you get what you pay for! We plan to return soon to try some lunch selections

If I spend the night in Baton Rouge then it’s a safe bet I’ll be eating breakfast here. The place is a little large for me, but it’s always packed so they obviously need it. Great selection of healthy choices as well as not so healthy choices if you need to cure a hangover. Service is always great. Can’t go wrong eating here.

I had high hopes for this place, being that I’ve heard such great things and it’s almost always busy. Brunch is my JAM, but these people couldn’t poach an egg if their lives depended on it. I’ve been served a hardboiled egg a total of 6 times, and I’ve only been there 4 times. The two times I sent them back, even the replacement eggs were hard. Everything else is meh, it’s a corporate business. However, I do have an idea for renaming their chain. A bit of a disappointment. I ordered the lobster and Brie omelette, and found the lobster to be slightly flavorless. The service was very slow, although friendly. One good thing, however, was the grits. Properly made and delicious.

I was expecting a little more from this place since it appears to be an upscale from ihop considering the prices. I had the traditional breakfast, everything was good but the pancakes were just ok. Nothing compared to ihops or cracker barrels, they could be a lot better. It’s usually busy here, bar seating is first come first serve, we had to ask the bar tender for a refill. For two people it came out to be $ 33, overpriced in my opinion for the quality of food and meal combinations. Probably won’t come back unless I’m with people and they decide to come here. It was just ok.

After hearing good things about this place me and my girlfriend visited for brunch today. The prices are pretty high for what we received. The pancakes were good and so was the bacon and potatoes but eggs were cold. Our waitress Laura was far from interested in assuring we had a good meal. She conversed with other employees and completely ignored us the entire time. My girlfriend had to bring to her attention that we hadn’t received a refill the entire time and she finally brought us refills after we finished our food. The service just ruined our experience here. For $ 30+ we could’ve received better service from Waffle House.

My party of 9 got there at 8am on the dot and we had no issues with getting seated on a Saturday morning. Our waiter was fantastic, attentive and accurate. We ordered beignets, they were not as light and airy as others I have had but still tasty and reasonably priced. I had the cinnamon swirl french toast and it came out beautifully, garnished with whipped cream and fresh fruit. My SO had the Floridian omelette which left me wishing I had gotten that myself! I highly suggest this place, they had a bar for individuals and also served bloody Mary’s and mimosas’

This place is really hit or miss. I’ve had great beignets here, and not so fabulous ones. I’ve had a killer pancake with bananas foster, and then had a serving of the same dish that was just drowned in the same things that made my previous serving of our wonderful. Just recently I ordered the crab stack for the second time expecting the same delight, unfortunately it just wasn’t the same. The service, although always pleasant, can sometimes be spotty. Previously I had to let my server know that my meal was missing its garnishes. I appreciate the restaurant and all its potential with menu selection and veggie options, I just wish they were a bit more consistent

Cons: 1. Given 30 – 40 minute wait and weren’t seated until over an hour later with no apology, only a «well, we underestimated wait times this morning» 2. Once seated in a room with 5 tables, 3 tables were left un-bussed for the entirety of our meal 3. Bus boy came and bussed half of a table as slowly as humanly possible. He literally sat down at the table while bussing it. I’m placing the blame on this guy for the longer wait time than originally given. 4. Eggs Benedict was supposed to have a medium poached egg, but it was hard as a rock. Didn’t bother sending it back because we were so ready to be done with the whole experience. 5. Management. Clearly there was none. On the Sunday after LSU-A&M game you have a huge opportunity to do a ton of business, but not if management is nonexistent, which was evident by the un-bussed tables, food not cooked how it should be, and longer than needed wait time. Pros: 1. Our friends that suffered through this with us are pretty awesome 2. Server was friendly and did her best to get our check and food to us as quickly as possible. I’ve heard great things about other locations, but save yourself the headache and avoid this hot mess of a restaurant.

The food was great but the wait is ridicules. Don’t count on getting your meal promptly or even correct, regardless of how busy they are. No point in the staff writing down an order of it is just going to be wrong anyways, but by the time you get your food you’re to hungry to care. Not worrying going out of your way to eat here but enjoyable if you are here.

Long wait on a Sunday morning, but you can’t expect much else. Had great service initially, but that stopped. Not enough refills on coffee. Beignets were wonderful: a great option while waiting on the food which took FOREVER! Had to signal for refills on coffee. Sweet potato pancake thin but good. I had the in-house made granola & quinoa which was good, but served in a bowl bigger than my head. It was fine.

The food is good but the portions are small. Be prepared to spend 30+ dollars for two people. If you’re coming here for breakfast/brunch you might wanna grab a bowl of cereal or a bagel before you leave the house. The cinnamon roll French toast is tasty. I got it without the bananas foster sauce because it has alcohol in it. The shrimp and grits were really tasty. My husband had the shrimp and grits minus the andouille with a traditional breakfast. Tasha the manager stopped by our table and she was very sweet. I don’t remember our servers name, but she started out good then slowed down majorly at the end. After she delivered our drinks and took our order we didn’t see her again until she dropped off the check! Super slow. Even though we rated it 3 stars we would come back

I’m a huge fan of breakfast and I love this place. It’s a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. My favorite type of breakfast is tex-mex style and their signature Lucy omelette is delicious. They are always friendly and courteous. Only problem is that they are so popular on weekends, the wait can be very long. Tony was our server today and he was awesome, food was great! I love how they will sub out less healthy sides for healthier ones. They also have a «lighter fare» menu. Great atmosphere and their mugs are adorable :)

Got there and it was pretty busy, so to me that is always a good sign! Got a table pretty fast and I ordered the Steak and Eggs! It was devine! My friend ordered the Shrimp and Grits and it looked Yummy, i just don’t like Grits! Give it a try, you wont be disappointed!

«Several broken eggs». It was a egg-stra special morning for me and my hubby! We were in search for an egg-cellent egg dish! Well, with a restaurant with the name«egg» in it… perfect for our immediate needs! I was also yearning for my early morning protein fix! Although all of their omelets looked appetizing, I found a lot of them to be too rich! So, when I ordered my lobster omelet, I asked for no cream sauce and no cream cheese… just does not makes sense for me to have on eggs. I requested for more vegetables and mushrooms to add more substance on a natural level. Once I got my dish, I would have been great with it, if they had gotten my order right. The omelet came filled with cream cheese, which was just far too unnatural for me. They asked to take if I wanted them to take it back, but I was able to just scrape it out, so that was fine. Unfortunately, they forgot my mushrooms, so I had to receive them on the side. The great thing about that was, when they brought it to my table, it was sizzling and piping hot… mushroom-y perfection! Be prepared to spend about $ 30+ for 2 people on omelets, coffee and tip. It’s a bit pricey, but the quality is fairly decent. * Eggs * Omelets * Breakfast in Baton Rouge * Brunch in Baton Rouge * High-Protein * Gluten-Free * Great for Groups * Kid-Friendly *
