First off, this restaurant does not close at 9. They close at 8, which was very upsetting to us. We thought it closed at 9 so when we got there at 7:35, it was upsetting to realize their time was limited. The weirdest thing when we walked in, the owner kind of stared us down instead of asking if we needed help. We proceeded with our order anyway, all the while the owner and waitress proceeded to close everything down. Truth be told, I really didn’t feel comfortable. Anyway, we got our food, after it had been sitting for awhile and was very disappointed. We ordered a large shrimp poboy and cheese fries. The poboy was extremely small and and the shrimp were scarce. The one time I didn’t take a pic and this is what I got. No way this was worth $ 16. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I will not be visiting this place again at no point in the near future.

Best roast beef po boy I’ve had in a long time. The bread was super fresh, taste spot on, gravy perfect. Can’t wait to try the shrimp po boy.

This is a well run business. The employees were friendly, the owner and our experience was great. I had the shrimp and oyster po boy and it was as good if not better than anywhere I have had. Great highway stop.

Had lunch on return trip home to Alabama. We’re native Louisianians and judge native fare sternly. These are as good as you’ll find and rival Chris’ Poboys in Lafayette. Try them… you’ll not be disappointed.

«Sometimes you want to go Where everybody knows your name, And they’re always glad you came; You want to be where you can see, Our troubles are all the same; You want to be where everybody knows your name.» This totally describes Rocco’s. My husband and I were out and about running errands and we decided to try Rocco’s for the first time. From the moment you walked in you could tell it was a well loved establishment. The staff knew every customer by name and what was their«usual» order for that day of the week. It was obvious that many of them came daily to eat. I love great customer service and I love a place where you can tell that people truly value your business. You nailed it Rocco’s. We both ordered a hamburger and they were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We enjoyed every bite. I would definitely recommend Rocco’s.

I went here when I was in BR because I wanted to try a po’boy. When I looked over the menu however, none of the po’boys sounded appetizing so I decided to go with the seafood muffeletta. A gf and I decided to split a whole muffeletta and that thing was HUGE! I’m glad that I opted out on getting a side order of fries because I definitely had difficulty finishing my half of the muffeletta. The fried oysters and shrimp in the muffeletta was tasty but the olive mix that was used for it was a little overwhelming and I LOVE olives, so that’s saying something.
