Mooya has the best made to order burgers and home cut fries!!! And they at are very affordable! The homemade shakes are delicious too! I used their app for pick up tonight and it worked perfectly. They cook your fries after you arrive so they are fresh. It only took about 3 minutes and I was on my way back home to enjoy.

Such a great burger! And the fries are unbelievable. It’s usually really busy, but don’t let the line deter you because it’s totally worth the wait!

Amazing service, in fact we tipped them. This place is somewhat similar to «Five Guys» in that they have list of toppings you pick from and the fries are very similar as well.

I have eaten here several times. The burgers are pretty good not the best. Can’t stand the fries it’s like eating stale cardboard. There is a lot of options for the hamburgers which is pretty cool

This was my second experience at a Mooyah and this particular one did not have the service that made the otherwise average experience more enjoyable. There was nothing outright wrong and the burger, fries, and shakes were pretty much what you’d come to expect of a fast food burger joint. All in all it won’t disappoint if you have realistic expectations but it certainly won’t impress.

If you like loud frenetic atmosphere, this is the place. Classic rock and orders screamed to the cooks. The logo cow in sunglasses is clever. Blackboard wall is child friendly. Kitchen is not enclosed, so all noise of trays and doors adds to decibels, and all orders announced for pickup on sound system. Great made –to-order burger.

We always have a good experience when we stop in. Amy is usually our cashier and she is very friendly!

First time getting a burger here and it is amazing! FYI, if you download their app, you get a free burger(; Super sweet staff and awesome atmosphere! Also, the milkshakes are pretty darn good!

We stopped here because my husband wanted a shake and I wanted a burger. A large shake here is the size of a small anywhere else. I had a mooyah cheeseburger with avocado it was very good. Good size burger. Fries were great. Everything was made to order and testes good only thing was a large shake was so small.

What? Great concept but eye rolls from the cashier upon entry? Definitely didn’t expect that from a place with these prices. This was my first time here, and I felt pressured to order as quickly as possible even though there was no one behind me and one or two customers seated. One girl was nice. Everyone else was disinterested at best. Pretty weird.

They were very busy, my grandmother and I went here yesterday. The meat was cooked well and the bread was soft and buttery. The meat was s little thin however, I wish I would have gotten a double cheese burger. The staff were very nice, and for some they even brought the burger to the table. The atmosphere was fun and friendly and the place seemed really clean which is a quality I look for in a burger joint. Overall I would go back, I expected the burger to be high but they were reasonably priced, about 5 dollars a burger.

Always so energetic and the employees are amazing! The food is also great, like a high-quality McDonald’s!

I was so hoping to find my next Chee Burger Chee Burger replacement, but while a decent burger, it did not fill those shoes. They offer similar burger toppings for free and an assortment of cheeses, bread and a bun less option which is very nice for those of us watching carbs. And for those not worried about that sort of thing, the French fries were too salty and not tasty but the sweet potato fries were just right. The atmosphere is very casual and loud music played in the background with names and numbers being called over the loudspeaker when your order is ready. I have to admit I do prefer being waited on when I go to a restaurant so that’s where one star went and the other was for taste.

I mean it’s a burger and shake joint lol. Honestly though, I had a mooyah burger with bacon and chedder and it was a decent burger. What I liked the most about the burger was the bread and the meat patty. The bread was fresh and perfectly supported all the burger fixings and the meat patty had that crispy edge thing going. Enjoyed that. The sweet potato fries were good but nothing spectacular and the Reese’s shake was filling. Recommend for a quick, tasty burger.

Had issues on first few visits here including one time when we tried to redeem a «free» birthday milkshake offer they sent in the mail. Much to my liking I got a phone call from ownership and was able to communicate with them the issues we had and they gave everyone in our family a free meal to come back and give them another opportunity. Well done. We did come in to pick up the certificates for the offer.

This review is directed at the vegetarians(not vegans). I would love to tell you that I found a great place for Black Bean Burgers on multi-grain buns with awesome fries, but that would not be the truth. The truth is, the buns had a sweet aftertaste(hate that) and were falling apart after the first bite. The black bean burger was a mushy mess that had a hint of beefy flavor. I can only hope it was some added flavor for people that love beef but order black bean burgers. However I believe that it was that my black bean burger was cooked too close to the beef. As for the fries I went in expecting the fries in the pictures(the good pictures) hoping for a home made fry taste. I got greasy tasting fries. Some, like the little cold ones in the mix, were oozing grease. The person that took my order seemed to only want to move things along. She was focused on the cash register and never looked up at me or greeted me as she started to take my order. I started with«I want the black bean burger on multi-grain» she charged in with«What kind of cheese?». Now if cheese was included that would have been acceptable, but cheese was extra and she never mentioned it. I don’t like sneaky up-selling so this experience rates 2 stars. And no, I won’t be back.

Although I am disappointed that mooyah is just another pick your patty burger restaurant, I definitely enjoyed my experience. I had the mooyah burger with cheese, nothing special, but it was good. The patty was a little thin(IMO) but was flavorful. The white bun was nice, unfortunately I have no other words to describe white hamburger buns. The fries were a little mediocre, kind of mushy and not really any salt or flavor. It was fun watching the kitchen work like a well oiled machine. At one point the line was out of the door and it only took a few minutes to get everyone’s orders down, as well as announcing orders ready every couple of minutes.

Mooyah is a burger joint sort of like Five Guys but I kind of like Mooyah better! They carry more topping selections, staff is friendly and very quick! The only difference between the 2 the complimentary peanuts!

Great concept… seems familiar to a couple other places… but I won’t mention them(*clears throat * ehhhhhemmmmm 5 guys). I love the colorful, open, non-traditional looking, modernly sheek style that this fast-foodery offers. Order here & pick up there. Lots to look at on the walls, if time permits that is. Above head is a menu board with loads of free fixings, drink choices, wheat or rwhite bun, homemade fry sizes and, and, and, and… can be a little overwhelming, but RELAX, RELATERELEASE, you can do it. I found the cashier/employees to be friendly, patient and competent in all things Mooyah. The patience is an added benefit because as I previously stated, the menu is loaded with options and overwhelming with a capital Oh!!! I enjoyed the turkey burger, although a bit on the bland side, I didn’t mind as I knowit’s very difficult to favor a turkey burger; the fresh bun and fixings made up for the blandness. In hindsight a shake might’ve topped off the meal, but since I didn’t get the shake, I can only wonder. Self seating is the order of the day. The wall sized chalk board, that caught my eye from across the room, with colored chalk, provides entertainment for adults and kids alike. Yesssssss!!! Located in the strip mall on Siegen Lane in Baton Rouge, I will visit again if in the area, if only but to get that shake that escaped my tummy.

Delicious delicious delicious!!! I LOVE this place! I go to Mooyah about once every few weeks and everything I have order from here has been so good, I stuff myself. The buns are so fresh and you can see them in the oven right in the back. Everything is cooked to order and you will get a yummy homemade tasting burger! The fries are also homemade and they fry them to order. There is always about a 5 – 8 minute wait every time we go but, I assure you it is worth it. The staff is so nice every time we go we «ring the bell» for good service. Don’t pass this gem up if you like great burgers!
