Why do you have to move your stuff around so much? Every time I come here everything is moved… well at least the tennis section is… and it keeps getting smaller… what’s up with that? Baton Rouge has a booming tennis community and if you made it a little easier to find and had more than beginner and children’s equipment, we’d use your store more.
I WILL say that the clearance sales are pretty good, and their reward program will get you some discount action. Sometimes their associates are nice and helpful, others are not so much.

So easy to spend a lot of money in this store. I’d give it 5 stars except it is hard to find a store associate to help you. They are great once you find them, but you’ll have to hunt them down. Huge Under Armor section for running and training gear. Very decent camping section. Marine section as this location is a little thin and the golf section could be a little larger — especially offer more PUMA golf gear since 2015 may be Rickie Fowler’s year.

I visited this store over last weekend, very crowded.
Not enough employees working for the customer load.
I guess Dicks Sporting Goods didn’t really expect a lot of customers over the last weekend before .
Management of Dicks: Christmas will be back next year about this time, might want to add that to your calendar for your labor planning next December, I’m just saving.

I love me some Dick (‘s Sporting Goods)…I’ve been in this locale twice now and have been more than pleased with the selection and level of service…
Them clothing tags seem to be a bit pricey but the goods are quality… stopped in on 8÷22÷13 cause they dumping Lance Armstrong’s LiveStrong brand like the Exxon Valdez dumped oil in Alaska back in the day… picked me up an elliptical machine, that was selling for $ 800ish back when Lance was exalted, for $ 300…Eddie was the guy I dealt with on the purchase and he was excellent!
Then went upstairs and indulged myself in some golf porn… walking through the huge selection of drivers, touching them longingly and moaning «Oh Billy, Billy, Billy, Billybaroo»…Fortunately I pulled myself together before I got banned…
All in all a great store with great customer service and great selections from apparel to equipment for various athletic endeavors… I’ll be back, fo sho!

Overall this place has a good selection of everything sport, but the greeter at the front is REALLY annoying… and it’s the same guy every time. He asks you pointless questions as you are walking in or out and it is SOOOO annoying to have to break stride and stop and BS with him… Just let me get my stuff and go… I don’t need to talk about it… SO WIERD! Get rid of him!
