I have been coming here, off and on, for a number of years now. And I’m pretty sure that 90% of the time I get the same thing — Singapore Rice Noodles. Oh my goodness. They stole my heart with this dish the first time I tried it. I’ve only ever ever tried other things in a vain attempt to prove I’m not addicted. But it’s all a show. I walk in, smell the smells, see the picture on the wall. I’m a goner. Addicted. This is noodle perfection. Noodle Nirvana. Don’t say I didn’t warn you…

*Updated review* We love their shrimp lo mein and sesame chicken. The family meal also comes with great flavor pot stickers, egg rolls and wonton soup which is my favorite. They don’t short you on the shrimp in the lo mein either. Good food for a great price and they are fast too.

Wife and I love this place its close to the house and the portions are large enough for 2. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood… The only complaint I have is the fried rice. lacks flavor and color

Big fan of the food. Atmosphere is non-existent. Tables and chairs under the glare of bright lights. But the food is Chinese old school. Raised in NYC I literally ate Chinese food for dinner weekly and China Taste takes me right back to the good old days when Chinese food was just scrumptious comfort. And they make their own mustard, not the cellophane packets, but the real deal. IMO Chinese food is not the same without the mustard. Great for take out. Wish they delivered.

Everything taste like soggy pork here. It’s so sick like the general tso from Walmart is better lol

The mei fun is delicious and healthy! Soups are delish — especially house special. The family dinner — ton of food for cheap! We are regulars now…

I LOVE this place! Went here tonight for the first time. I got sesame chicken dinner. It was so good. I liked how the sesame chicken wasn’t mushy like I’ve had at other places and it wasn’t fatty/chewy! It was perfectly crisped and right amount of glaze. Egg rolls were tasty too. Will definitely be back. New Chinese place to go

Solid Chinese take out. They’re always fast and friendly. Decent prices, especially the dinner combo. My favorite is moo shu pork and theirs is great. Obviously not a super fancy dining experience, but this is my go-to place for Chinese food in Baton Rouge.

Decent for a cheap Chinese place however the meat was sketchy and the rice was dry. Also the place looks super clean which I liked.

I have been to this restaurant 3 times now. Each time, I’ve ordered the Shrimp Lo Mein, Chicken Wings, and Hot and Sour Soup. Each of these things is perfectly cooked and delicious. It’s hard to find a quickie Chinese restaurant where the lo mein isn’t greasy, but this is THAT place. I love their lo mein for that reason… not overly greasy. The chicken wings are nicely flavored(tastes like they are soaked in brine — a good thing/flavor) and the hot and sour soup is good too. My only negative is that they don’t accept American Express and I can’t rack up on my Skymiles as much as I’d like to.

Their chicken noodle soup tasted like pork! Who cares right b/c it’s cheap Chinese food, but I care! Because I do not eat pork! Anyhow, the veggie lo-mein was not bad, a bit too greasy though.
