Stopped in for lunch; side salad and a slice of pizza. Tasty lunch and a great setting for an evening on the patio. Would definitely return.

Neighbors is a good place to grab a pizza. You get some good food from a place you normally wouldn’t expect to. My Wife and I tried a pie and pepperoni rolls. The place is off main in the bar district. It’s not something you would expect considering the establishment. I admit that after reading reviews I was curious. I placed an order and went to pick up our pie and rolls. When I arrived I was informed that they were out of pepperoni rolls. The lady checking me out then asked when I ordered them. After explaining it was all one order and not an add on they«found» 4 in back. After getting the food hot and fresh I explained to my Wife why it took so long. We both were surprised after tasting the food. The pizza is good but the pepperoni rolls are unique and pack flavor into something small. I have returned a few times since but it’s been months. I guess it’s pretty close to a return trip. I believe if you try it, The place will surprise you. Good pizza and nice staff.

One of our vendors flew into Austin and decided to drive to Bastrop. We met at neighbors first. We absolutely loved the scenery, food, drinks, and the hospitality! The waitress was outstanding, fun, and smiling the entire time. We ordered the meatballs appetizer and then the bbq chicken pizza and it was amazing!

First time coming here tonight and it was delicious! It was very busy(to be expected on a Friday night though) Our waiter ended up being the tall red headed bartender and he was super nice! For the food: We got the bruschetta and the pizza rolls to start, both were to die for! We then got a large Margarita and a large Grease Bucket, both were super good! Then for the sweets we got the Orange Crème cheesecake and the Heath Bar bread pudding, both were exceedingly delicious: D All in all I can’t wait to come back: D

Great pizza! Amazing atmosphere! Efficient and kind wait staff. If you live in this town lucky you! If not this is the perfect stop for some really good pizza! We had the Texas bruschetta as a starter. Super unique way to prepare this traditional Italian fare. Yay cilantro!

This place have a menu that is 85% pizza/dough based and completely ran out of dough. We could only order a few thinks on the menu that weren’t really too good. Our poor waitress was ok but, they also ran out of receipt paper so it took for ever to get and pay our bill.

Took a long time to get coffee and an order in. NOT like there were 500 ppl here, more like 14 ppl, about 10 of them are employees. Takes way too long to get a simple calzone order in. Will not be back, I can get ignored in better surroundings.

I live in Kansas City. I took a client to eat and the restaurant we were going to go to was closed. We found this restaurant and decided to meet there. Thank god. This is the greatest atmosphere on earth. The music they play during the day is absolutely amazing. I came back in town today and went there. I tell all my clients around Austin to go there. I get the homeade meatball sandwich and a mexican coke every time because it is amazing. Im sure the rest of the food is good as well but I don’t know. This is my haply place and I absolutely love it.

We just recently had our wedding rehearsal lunch here. I cannot say enough good things about it. We decided to have it outside on the patio(there was about 20 of us) It was a perfect setting. We ordered the garlic knots, brushchetta, and caprese skewers for appetizers and a large house salad. The pizzas are to die for. We decided to do two types of pizza and I would highly recommend both. The«margherita» and the«el camino real» everyone thought they were a hit. It was relaxing, the service was very attentive and accommodating, and it turned out to be a perfect fall day. We’ve also been for regular lunch and service and food was excellent! Thank you Neighbors for a fantastic wedding rehearsal lunch!

I recently had to say goodbye to my 14 year old lab. We went swimming, took our last walk together, and went to Neighbor’s– shared a margarita and gave her a slice of pizza. It was a beautiful day, sun was shining, and she really enjoyed her margarita! Memorable day and wonderful service. Our family likes coming here and enjoying the laid back vibe. I’m never in a hurry when dining. This isn’t «fast food». WE come in and love having time to enjoy our wine, beer, salad, and pizza. We enjoy not being hurried and having fresh pizza. We are never in a hurry when we dine here and love the service, staff, and owners. Theo owners are wonderful and have a very cute baby girl. It’s nice to support a local family and not a corporation.

The view! I’ve never been in downtown Bastrop before so when my friend wanted to have a lunch date with our girls, I was so ready to make that drive! This place is in the alleyway, next to Main St. I had trouble finding it b/c I’m so unfamiliar with the area! I had to park and then walk around to find it. Then I saw the parking spots in front. Whoops. It was a nice afternoon and they were too busy yet so we sat outside with a great view of the Colorado River. This allowed my 3yo to run around a bit and check out people going into the river. We ordered garlic knots, pepperoni rolls, meatballs and a salad. The garlic knot were okay. I saw some reviews that said they were good but they were not garlicky enough for me. The pepperoni rolls were REALLY good. It was full of cheese and pepperoni. The meatballs were alright. My salad was ehh also. I would come back here for the view and some casual pizza time. Or maybe after exploring the river. The place got busier by the time we were leaving but was nicely space out.

Wonderful. The garlic knots are awesome. Not drown in butter, not overpowered, baked just right. Pull ‘me apart and dip again and again. Myth Busters proved it was OK :) The pizza was above average, certainly worth finding the place for. The view. Sunset over the bridge is outstanding. The service was fantastic. Gotta come back for the evening live music some time.

Great pit stop on the way from Austin to Houston. I wanted to love this place after hearing the story of the owners, but hate to say i liked it, but i didn’t love it. We stopped in for a pizza and a beer and the meatball appetizer. Meatball app was amazing, could have gotten another. The pizza was pretty good, but we’re kind of pizza snobs. The view was beautiful we sat on the patio and could see out to the river, but we were awkwardly the only couple out there during an open mic, so there was that. Cute place, will be back next time we take a trip out to Houston.

Ambiance, my big word for the day. This place is so laid back, it’s great. On a hill overlooking the Colorado River, the patio is just awesome. We wanted light, so just ordered sandwiches. Glenda got the Tuscan and me the Hippie Dippie with chicken. Came with in house chips. Food was good and afterwards we went down and strolled the river. Had a great time and will be back.

Setting… wow! Sit outside and take in the view. Pizza…double wow! Crispy and and perfect.(we had the margarita and grease bucket) Garlic Knots… Pass(no flavor and bland) add some garlic and butter to those bad boys. Salad…ordered a house, but was brought a cesar(we waited to long to attempt to return it) Service…very…very…very slow. 11⁄2 hrs for two pizzas, garlic knots and a salad. Gave them 4 stars because the pizza was really good.

My family and I ate here on a Sunday evening while we were in the area on Spring Break. It wasn’t very busy at that time. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. I had the house salad which was fresh and very good. The kids gobbled up the pepperoni rolls and we also had the Grease Bucket pizza which was delicious. It was cold and rainy when we were there, but the view is great and we’d love to come back when it is warmer and could sit outside and listen to the music. Would definitely recommend you check it out if in Bastrop.
