Two stars are not for the bagels, they were pretty tasty. The loss of three stars is for the following: 1– there is no where to sit really 2– yelling at my friend when she tried to inquire where her bagel was after the rest of us had gotten ours 10 minutes prior. Continuing to yell at her after she pointed out her bagel happened to be sitting right there and telling her we should have ordered as a group. 3– the coffee was gross. We threw it out and went to Starbucks. Not even drinkable. You really need to remember that your customers are what keeps your business alive and yelling at anyone is unacceptable. Especially this girl, she’s probably the sweetest person I know and struggled with even going to ask about her bagel. Not cool.

The bagels here aren’t bad actually and their crumb cakes near the register that I occasionally splurge on are really good. I have worked in the area for 3 years and during a typical week I will come here one day for lunch to grab and go. I am glad to see other people have commented on the rude manager. The only people he smiles for are young cute women and it’s painfully obvious if you ever see it happen. As soon as someone else is next to order, though, his smile drops to an aggressive frown and it feels like you have just entered some parallel universe whose only inhabitants are you and this guy’s beady eyes. He is a perpetual prick who consistently makes you feel like he is doing you a favor by serving you. He is never appreciative of your business and he never hands you back your card after payment — he always puts it on the counter right in front of you, I constantly have to ask for a bigger bag because he’ll give you one that doesn’t fit your drink as if you want to carry the drink separately and he gets portions of my order wrong fairly regularly. He really just doesn’t make it a pleasant experience overall and he has finally become the reason why I will not come to O’bagel again. Today he made my sandwich. It was a simple order — plain bagel, turkey, cheese, tomato, and mayo. He even confirmed the order. I get it back to my office and there is no mayo on it. Nothing quite like a dry turkey sandwich. I am not one to use a small mistake like this to swear off a lunch joint or even generally to pass judgement, but my annoyance at this guy has been simmering for several years now and it has finally boiled over. See ya never, O’bagel… Ok…maybe I’ll stop in for a crumb cake from time to time, but that’s IT!

Bagels were so good. I got them fresh out of the oven and they were crunchy on the outside, mushy on the inside! Amazing The service was some of the slowest I have ever had. I waited in line for about 15 minutes and then 10 minutes after we placed the order. It wouldn’t have been crowded if they weren’t so slow. The owner came out and you could tell he was there to speed things up because he was not happy.

O’Bagel makes my favorite bagels in existence. My family gets bagels every Sunday after mass and I love our tradition. Bagels anywhere else always fall short in comparison to these bagels. The only con is that sometimes the service is slightly slower when the owner is not there. Even then, the service is great!

Without a doubt, best bagels in the area. My wife and I were worried that, moving back to the area from Long Branch(and being able to get bagels at the amazing Bagel Masters) we wouldn’t be able to find a good-enough bagel place. We were wrong. O’bagel blew us away the first time, and we come back every weekend for more. I haven’t noticed the pricing as being anything out of the ordinary, we can generally be in and out with two bagel sandwiches for under $ 10. Ignore those reviewers who are complaining about the«rude manager». They are more than likely the same hoity-toity folk who frequent the area and scream at the staff when there is a language disconnect. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. I guarantee if you use your manners, maybe even ask how their day is going, you’ll have a great time.

O’Bagel is simply the best around. I almost go there everyday because I love it so much. They have more of a variety than just bagels. I especially like going there for lunch, mainly because of their homemade chicken salad and tuna on a wrap or on a bagel. If you haven’t experienced O’Bagel yet you are really missing out.

The bagels are very good, as most O’Bagels are. These are a few locations near by, but no matter how close I am to this one, I will not go. The manager is hands down the most rude owner I have ever seen. Ever heard of customer service? try the obagel in dewy meadows, much better staff.

The bagels here are fantastic. The service is very disorganized. The manager is very moody, mostly rude and disrespectful. I’ve going there since it opened and he is always rude to me and many other customers, I don’t understand why they keep him.

O’Bagel has 3 locations and I love the way this location makes their chef salads! Amazingly refreshing! Perfect amount of meat, cheese, and toppings. Easily the best chef salads this side of town!!! Every time I go in there it is clean. The staff are easy to talk to and will allow you to take your time ordering. This location has outside seating and standing room for ordering inside. I can not recall any seating in this location other than outside.

O’bagel is O’k for a quick & fairly cheap lunch. It’s all about take-out here — inside there are only two high tables; in good weather you can sit at one of the three tables out front. They have some deli-style sandwiches but this ain’t no NYC deli. My bagel was appropriately crispy on the outside and soft inside, piled high with roast beast and other goodies, it was a good sandwich, no complaints. On our visit the staff made it all happen quickly. The old guy running the place is definitely not the friendly bantering type but he didn’t hassle us and he got the order right. $ 10 min for a credit card. Parking in the Riverwalk strip mall gets a bit touch-and-go at lunch time tho. Lots of people were stopping in here for takeout on their way to or from a pool, at least that’s my guess, why else would you wear a bikini? And by «people» I mean really athletic twenty somethings :) No I didn’t stare. Honest. Really I didn’t. No foolin.

I’ve never experienced such HORRIBLYDISRESPECTFUL and RUDE store staff before, and I think this guy may have been the owner or manager. I don’t even feel like elaborating on this one. Read the other reviews as well. Unless you like being disrespected as you attempt to spend your money, skip this place. Try Panera Bread up the road a piece.
