US Post Office

No passport pictures but a nice sized post office without much of a line most days.
I’ve used this post office many times and have been treated pleasantly for the most part.
In fact, I had an AWESOME experience with a female employee who saw I was renewing a passport and took the time to teach me all the tricks to get it processed quickly. I felt very good.
Today was a nightmare, however.
Today I purchased a box for an item I was sending at the post office.
J.J, a nasty and humiliating post office employee, scolded me loudly for using a couple pieces of tape for the box.
He threatened to charge for the tape.
He told me to use the priority tape because it was free, then after I taped my box told me it was going to cost much, much more.
Then he started making fun of me with a woman in line saying, «Is it that hard to understand? Am I not clear?»
He laughed maniacally as I stood there humiliated in tears — I’m pregnant and for some reason this really hurt my feelings to be mocked in the post office by an employee and a random stranger.
Then when it was my turn to get checked out, he said that because the return address wasn’t on the box I had to go wait and asked for the next person in line.
He kept making fun of me until I left the building, absolutely devastated. I don’t ever want go to this post office again.
What a cruel and devastating experience in a new town for me.
I’m absolutely humiliated by JJ, this nasty, nasty person and his cruelty towards me today.
