Great pizza n bread stix but seriously a $ 50 order for only two pizzas n breadstix for delivery. two HOURS later still not delivered! Terrible terrible service ONE delivery guy on a Saturday what a joke! We asked for our money back most definitely will not order again!

Very good food, good, no, very good pizza. I really miss the small intimate dining in the old restaurant before they remodeled. But things change. Try it you’ll like it.

Since my first review we have returned several times. Sorry to say… every time has had something negative about it.
One time, our waitress was non-​existent. Maybe because we were only having the buffet. However, they couldn’t keep up with the buffet and there was a lot of sitting a waiting without food.
Another time, the waitress spilled the hot wax on my pizza when she put it on the table. I honestly wasn’t upset by it but then I had to put my finger in the wax and let her see it actually turn white on my finger as it cooled to prove that she had done it. They made me a new pizza. My husbands order wasn’t correct, even though he hadn’t ordered anything special. He ordered something off the menu with no special instructions and they added things that weren’t supposed to be there. Weird.
The last time was even more interesting. After waiting quite a long time the waitress informed us that the cook had gotten my husbands pizza wrong so they were remaking both of our pizzas so that we still received them at the same time and were fresh. Okay. When the «correct» pizzas finally came out mine was wrong. So mine was right and my husband’s was wrong and they recooked both and mine was wrong and my husband’s was right. What?! We talked with our waitress about this indecent and couldn’t help but bring up the fact that it seemed something was wrong every time we came. She said the cook was new. What are the odds that every time we have gone we’ve experienced some one new? Maybe. She offered us a free dessert which we politely declined, to which they brought us anyway packed to go.
I don’t know that I will ever get my husband back in here. The food is actually very good. The service seems to be all over the place. I have kept trying and still haven’t gotten a good enjoyable visit here. Wish that wasn’t true because the breadsticks are AMAZING!

We went here for the first time. We had seen the commercials and thought since we were in Peoria we would go. The place was nice and service was ok. We ordered the Tyroni potatoes were good but not for almost $ 10. We both ordered Lasagna. When it came it looked very good. After a couple bites it was cold in the center I asked the waitress and she indicated they only make new once they get down to ½ of a pan. I took this to mean it is not made fresh daily and who knows how long it had been in the fridge. I was offered something else so after agonizing over the menu I got a pizza. It was good but not great like other reviews. The manager never come out of the kitchen to talk to us we felt like we did not matter. We will not go back and if you want a good Italian meal choose another place. If your looking for ok pizza then this is your place.

I have mixed feelings about Tyroni’s. Their lunch buffet is excellent & reasonably priced. Their pizzas are ok. Where I have a problem is in the skimping & cost cutting measures. When I ordered the pizza bread with meatballs, the meatballs were the size of MARBLES therefore they were over-​cooked & flavorless, then there were only 10 little meatball marbles on the entire dish! Therefore, I avoid this restaurant unless it’s for the lunch buffet. Recently I went back to Tyroni’s with a large family group & gave it another try. I ordered a pasta entrée & paid $ 3.00 for the additional baked topping of green peppers, onions, cheese, etc… Looked gorgeous when the server delivered it! It was served in 1 of those beautiful pasta plates with the scooped out middles! I was so excited till I put my fork into the dish & immediately hit a metal plate! They put a small metal dish into the scooped out part of the pasta plate! If I wanted a child’s portion, I would have ordered it! The additional baked toppings were nearly non-​existent! I needed a magnifying glass to find it! Very disappointed to say the least! I paid $ 18.00 for a child’s portion… but it was really good! I’ll stick to the lunch buffet because their other menu items are a rip-​off!

Since we are moving back to Pekin I figured I should check out Unilocal reviews for the area. We already have our favorites but perhaps you can get us to try your favorites with great reviews.
We have lived in Florida for twenty years. But when visiting famly and friends we eat out often. At our age what else can we do? We’ve gone from Pekin and so Pekin with friends to Tyroni’s often. Last few times two couples shared one «sampler» and a large pizza, plus drinks. Prices are fair, service outstanding, and food as good as it gets. What more do I need to write?
PS as mentioned, parking stinks. Especially with a quad cab truck. However we heard there is parking in the rear.

Pizza is outstanding. Service is good too.
