Pho 64

The curry dishes are fantastic — specifically the masaman with tofu. We have tried most of the menu items and have never been disappointed. Plus, the couple that owns this little place are so incredibly friendly.

I started eating here at least once per week for about a year now. I have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh & delicious.

This a small place. It used to be the home of JImmy’s Chicago Hotdogs. Really miss JImmy’s. And this, while it is another cuisine, it is worthy establishment.
And its about the Phở. To me, the soup has a good delicate flavor. It is worth the short wait. Also, don’t forget the curries. Prefer the red curries.

Very happy to have stumbled apron this place. I’ve been here 3 times and it’s not a fluke, each time is delicious. Seafood Phở, Beef Phở and Tom Kai all awesome! Darn that your not open on Sunday’s, we came after church and were so sad!

Looks like nothing, somewhat hard to find /​notice from the street, next to a flower shop but food was simply delicious. Great service too. A discreet little tresor in Memphis.

Thanks Unilocal… I was looking for some place new to eat for lunch and being on a Daniel Fast this place was perfect. The vegetable soup with tofu hit the spot and they give you plenty of it, so I have dinner too

As other to reviews note they have changed their name from Noodle Star to Phở 64. The owner told me this was due to the confusion with a new place that opened nearby named Noodle something also. To go orders were getting confused. It is exactly the same place in all ways and it is still fantastic. All curries are great, the Phở is incredible. The red curry with fish is one of my favorites. The coconut curry soup is a great starter. Bo Bun Hu is very spicy and on the money. I’ve eaten at a lot of Vietnamese places in other cities that are supposed to be great or famous and have never found one that was better. Never even found one as good. Maybe the best food to be found in Memphis.

Love this little hole in the wall, family owned, restaurant. It’s hard to find good Vietnamese food outside of midtown but this place did it. It’s authentic, prices are reasonable and portions are too.
On a cold day, I recommend going and trying one of their many «PHOs» because it’s phở-​surely delicious

This place is the epitome of a «hole in the wall» restaurant. Everything about this place was perfect. Its staff, service, timeliness, cleanliness, & most importantly, taste of food!!! I’ve had phở from many, many other places, & nothing can compare to the phở I’ve had here. The broth was very well seasoned & perfectly portioned meats, it was delicious. I can’t wait to be back!

Being Midtowners my charming companion and I were on the area and needed to eat. Boom! out comes the Unilocal app because we couldn’t remember the name of the restaurant.
Love! Someday I’ll order something besides the Drunken Noodle but yesterday wasn’t it. So much better than the local place on S. Cooper which I will not name.
While waiting for our food I was cruising through the other reviews. Anyone giving this place less than three stars is nuts. Nice people. Clean dining room. Awesome food. A treat.

Loveeee this place, we go often! The décor is lacking but the food makes up for it. They have the best vegetable egg roll I’ve ever had and their soup bowls are delicious, friendly staff, and very reasonable prices.

Can not say how incredible the food is here! Truly a flavor explosion in my mouth! Authentic Vietnamese food and a hearty phở broth! Worth the drive no matter where you are in the Midsouth!

Very fresh and delicious food in here. A casual hole in the wall atmosphere with great food. I usually get the Curry Tofu Vegetable plate which comes out amazing. You get a very large amount of food here all cooked when ordered, and with great flavor. One of the best curry plates I’ve had. Although a little costly for a lunch menu it’s worth being out of pocket for a this place. I highly recommend Phở 64.

I loved this place when it was named Star Noodle, and I love it just as much now. I ordered the sliced beef phở to go, and I was super impressed when I got back home. The noodles, beef, and various toppings were packed with care in a separate container from the broth, and the beef was still raw!!! They even included a little container of hoisin sauce for me.
Once I heated the broth back up, assembled my phở, and got it set up just the way I like it, it was a-​freaking-​mazing. Best phở I’ve had in a loooooong time. Kudos, guys, keep up the awesome work!

The house phở is worth five stars. It is such a big bowl that I will not get to try anything else on the menu today.

I keep forgetting this place is just around the corning from work. I visited this place when it was known as Noodle Star (sign still up), which I think the same owners are here and not much has changed that I can tell, except the name. This place is great. I have had the drunken noodles both times I believe and the flavor is great and the traditional sauce is light and not as greasy as some other places. The owners are extremely nice, welcoming and accommodating. They have a great variety of Thai and Vietnamese dishes. You will not be disappointed and I will be visiting this place more often.

This used to be Noodle Star and appears to be the same for all I can tell.

Two persons I was eating with concluded that this is their favorite restaurant in Memphis… and they have been everywhere… I can see why. I will be back.

This tiny gem in Bartlett is our go-​to spot for all things Asian! We especially love going there on a cold, rainy day to keep the chill and germs at bay. I am trying to work my way through their menu and so far we have loved absolutely everything. Their consistency in food preparation and desire to please always leave us full, happy, and usually with to-​go containers (we have started bringing our own). The Vietnamese spring rolls are perfection and traditional, but the fried wings appetizer is equally delicious and surprising! You can’t go wrong with their Curry Chicken Soup or Dumpling soup as appetizers, and every Phở we have tried is bursting with subtle flavor and excellent broth. Huge portions too. Their curry dishes are fabulous as is every noodle dish served with vegetables, chicken, beef, shrimp or tofu. All are excellent but the chicken is exceptional in it’s tenderness. We are pretty picky when it comes to authenticity, and to us, Phở 64 (formerly known as Noodle Star) meets all criteria. Try it — you will be addicted! We have tried many more items that I have forgotten to take photos of because we are so excited to dig in. I will add more!

Formerly known as Noodle Star, this place is one of my favorite spots in the city. A Stellar mom & pop place with no frills décor-​wise… They focus on delivery delicious fresh food at fair prices.
While the Phở was some of, if not the best I’ve had… The curries might be the gem of this spot. The yellow curry chicken soup is amazing. The red curry whitefish is amazing. If you’re a drunken noodle fan, dive right in.
The only thing that I’ve had that wasn’t head and shoulders above anything else I’ve had locally were the dumplings. They were just «good»
Run, don’t walk to this place and give it a shot if you’ve not already.
