OEC has become our go-to spot for sushi since moving to TN. The prices are great, the food is of good quality and the staff is very friendly. We typically get take-out but have gone in to eat a few times. There are only a handful of tables so don’t be surprised if you have difficulty getting a spot on a weekend night. But take-out is always on point so don’t hesitate to try it. Can’t wait to get it again!!!

We love this sushi place and keep going here. The prices are good, it’s easy to bring a large group, and there are a lot of rolls to choose from. The location is really convenient too.

Everything that I’ve ordered from this restaurant has tasted amazing! Also, everyone that works there are very nice and they keep the restaurant very clean. They take a lot of pride in their place of work and it shows in the food in the way it tastes down to the presentation. I live in Millington and will drive 30 plus minutes to come here!!!

This place is AMAZING! Don’t be hesitant to come and try it out for yourself! There food is top notch quality, not to mention the quantity is huge. The flavor OMG is out of this world, fresh ingredients and the presentation they pay such close attention to details. There is a gentlemen that helps deliver food and cleans tables he is so friendly and always smiles, asks if your okay and need any refills on drinks etc… The young Asian girl is super friendly and always checks in to make sure your food is good, asks if there is anything she can get, also makes great recommendations. The sushi is fresh and so filling they don’t skimp on fillings, the fruit is nice and juicy full of flavor which is given to you when you eat in. The hibachi items are cooked to order which means your food is piping hot, and full of flavor. The steak is so tender and the veggies still have a little crunch which means they steam and not boil the veggies. The fried rice is flavorful as well not bland and tasteless like other places over all I wish I could give this place a 10 star rating because they deserve it!!! We will be back for sure time and time again

I’m still sticking with my 3-star rating from last time. This place is just fine for what it is. I tried the sushi and it was very good. I kept it simple, though… none of the crazy cooked/fried/mayonnaise-laden rolls. I had the avocado roll, asparagus roll, sweet potato roll and the salmon-avocado roll. OK — the sweet potato roll is cooked/tempura…but it’s not greasy at all. The other 3 rolls were very nice. Not too much rice and the pieces are bite sized… just right. I’m not a fan of rolls that are so tremendous that it requires multiple bites for a single piece(or shoving that one giant piece in and hoping not to choke on it…). I also ordered a seaweed salad and a cucumber salad. My complaint on both of these — they are served with tempura flakes on top. Why? Never saw that before… and it’s not necessary if the salads are good. Just adds extra, empty calories. The seaweed salad was OK… but I couldn’t really tell b/c of the tempura flakes. The cucumber salad was really bland… not much going on there… so I guess it needed the extra something. Chicken fried rice and crab rangoon were the other items that my folks had. The rice dishes are their favorites and I tasted the crab rangoon… a bit greasy for my taste. So, I’d probably go back and get the simple sushi rolls again… and ask for my seaweed salad sans flakes.

Best place in the Memphis area for fast Japanese food. The value is unbeatable lunch or dinner. Call it in, eat it there whatever you want to do. Owners seem very involved. We really like the hibachi chicken

You can go to a Japanese steakhouse, a sushi restaurant, or a Chinese establishment and wait to be seated, place your order, wait some more for your meal to arrive and then eat mediocre cuisine OR go to the ubiquitous Asian buffet where the food tastes mass produced and has been sitting in the warming pans for God knows how long with throngs of people breathing on, spooning out, spilling, and hovering over the food. Then there’s OEC. Hibachi grill, sushi bar, and Chinese all wrapped up in one, served fresh, quick, and delicious! They are a popular stop for folks, yet the wait is never too long. If you choose to dine in, warm peanuts seasoned with sugar, salt, and other elements will be brought to your table while you wait. If you order an appetizer like edamame, Pork Goyza, or Kani Cheese, your selection will come to you hot and fresh and tasty. The sushi is always just right. The hibachi dishes are excellent. The fried rice items won’t disappoint. When you are done a plate of ice cold watermelon slices will be served free of charge! Tim, Jessie and their delightful staff will make your eating experience memorable. OEC Express is great for lunch or dinner, when you’re in a hurry, on a date, or taking the family out to eat. If I had ten of them I’d give OEC ten thumbs up!

This is probably my favorite Asian Restaurant in Bartlett. The Hibachi is always great. If you dine in they always bring fruit when you are finishing your meal. Always a thumbs up.

OEC is a great little sushi spot in Bartlett. Great food at reasonable prices. The sushi is great and the fried rice is even better! They bring out sugar covered peanuts as an appetizer and sliced fruit as a post dinner treat. Friendly employees and a nice, clean, dining area. The dining area is pretty small, so if you’re eating in, be mindful of that.

The sushi was just okay. I may go back and try the hibachi lunch, but I was not impressed with the sushi. The fish was a bit warm and tasted fishy. Regular fish or sushi eaters know the fish shouldn’t smell or taste fishy. The female handing out the orders wasn’t the friendlist, but they were busy.

The service and food here are both top notch! They bring you sugar covered peanuts as an appetizers, and a plate of sliced oranges after you’ve finished your meal. I don’t eat sushi, but everyone I’ve known that’s had it has said it’s their favorite around town. The hibachi chicken is AMAZING! Not only is the dinner portion huge, but it comes with a side salad with fresh ginger dressing. Fast, friendly and attentive service… Definitely worth checking out!
